ManageMyProperty.com Has Cool Interactive Keyword Chart

]]> I ran across a neat looking chart today on ManageMyProperty.com blog by Christopher Berkopas.

It kind of hurts a little that I my site was not included, but it is still a pretty cool chart.

What you do is click on the sites you are interested in and it will graphically show you how they rank for competitive keywords compared to other sites.

Give the rental keyword chart a try.

David Borden Interview: RentClicks.com Origins and Where Did it Go?

]]> I got the opportunity to sit down with David Borden (formally with RentClicks.com) and do a series of on camera interviews. This first video below is one of 8 videos that will air on this blog over the next week or so.

David Borden sold RentClicks.com to Primedia several years ago and since then David has been a consultant to Rentals.com.  Now David is a consultant to a new site called FreeRentalSite.com. David was interested in getting the word out on this new site, so I am giving him some air time in exchange for some information about the past and what he thinks about the future.

Even though David is a competitor of mine it’s always interesting for me to get to know my competitors better and see what they are up to. In this series of interviews I got to ask questions I wanted to and it was nice to see that David was open and transparent in his answers.

This is not the first time I have interviewed a competitor, I interview Brain Frisby from RentalHomesPlus some years ago on my podcast.

Loophole in Rentals.com Network of Sites Pricing

]]> Looks like I might have found a loophole in Primedia’s network of sites pricing. Instead of writing a blog post about it, I thought what the heck I will make a quick video.

Update 1: Ha, I was right a day later a rep from rentals.com emailed me with a 15% discount. I thought it might have been 20 so I was close. So if you want to save either wait or post on rentalhouses.com.

Update 2: I got a call from a rentals.com sales rep a couple of days after asking if I needed any help. I told her I was a competitor and she was really nice about it.
