COCC and CAT Days

I still remember our first custom pins. The pins for COCC and CAT.

Classic. Those days were the best time of my high school life.

During my junior year, I’m so pumped up that every time there’s a formation for cadets and various COCC activities, I’m always the first one to line up. Every time I see an officer coming in my way, I salute them with all my heart. It also crossed my mind that I can be a military soldier someday. But that’s just secondary.

When I become an officer a year after, I felt that all my hardships when I was a cadet was all worth it. Perks, group activities and party are everywhere. It’s really is high school with a twist.

Anyway, just sharing you these thought and I’m pretty sure you had the same right? What’s your story?

Lost Business Plan

When we last talk about putting a local business here in our area, we were close to finalizing and making things happen. The plan is to have at least a modern medical laboratory facility. I also told my partners that I know a person to contact with regards to medical equipment. And everybody else, planned the location, the aesthetics of the building, the manpower etc. I can safely say that’s about 85% done. But when we adjourn that day, our partners didn’t bother to talk to us anymore and that kept us wondering why.

Girls Night Out

Last night, we had a girls night out. My friends and I had fun. After that day, I went straight to my yoga class, but unfortunately I left my yoga mat bag in my car. So I went home again just to get it. The my brother called me up to remind me about the meeting we had scheduled for a client. Ooops, I have to be absent from my yoga class because the client is such a big one. Anyway, i can still attend next time.

How reliable are the herbal meds?

In his column last Dec. 5, titled “All about herbal medicines,” Neal Cruz wrote: “You can be sure that each and every herbal being sold by RiteMed has been tested and proven to alleviate, if not cure, the symptoms of some illnesses. Each of them has been approved by the Department of Science and Technology.”

How reliable is that statement? Does testimonial or anecdotal evidence on the effects of drugs derived from plants justify the promotion of their use? Or do we need hard data? One’s health should not be put at risk by claims made by any company, government agency, or persons without adequate proof.

Valentines Gift

Last night I saw my husband surfing the net. Unfortunately he was searching for some flowers online delivery. I think he would give the flowers to me as a valentines gift. Its been his tradition to give to a bunch of flowers on the eve of valentines day. At least my husband does not forget to celebrate valentines day every year. Well, I think I’m just lucky.

Insurance is an Investment

I was shocked to know that insurance was an investment. All this years, I thought all of them are just scam. Why? Because, I felt that they are just using the money for their own business venture until I watched a financial 101 program. I learned about estate tax and how it works. If you have time try to understand what estate tax is and you’ll later figure out where insurance will come from.

Let there be Music

Since I will be buying a keyboard this Christmas, I think it’s also a good time to buy additional music instruments too. I’ll buy an electric guitar and drum set too. The perfect time to learn music is just right and they say that the kids brain absorb more information at this age. So most likely it will be easy for me to tech him how to play these instruments. If we are successful, I might bought a mandolin someday as well.

These weight loss pills are always, time after time, a hot commodity. Well what can we do not to take any of it?

Simply put, you need discipline. Discipline with the way you eat. Discipline that you need to exercise at least once a day. Discipline not to commit yourself that you’re going to lose weight by taking a pill. If you put all these in your mind, chances are you’re going to be slim.

Though there were some that was able to increase losing weight by combining some weight loss products, I advise still to pick the best one that will work for you overtime.
