Summary: This position provides quality, cost-effective care to members of the community participating in Agency sponsored clinics that promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health. Ensure the efficient and effective flow of patients during scheduled clinics through joint planning and problem solving with clinic, office, contract and volunteer staff and other related duties as assigned. Protect the dignity, privacy nonconfidential of patients and their families, as well as co-workers and others. This position may be asked to work at various clinic sites as needed.

Requirements: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program. State of Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse required. Position requires a minimum of one year of nursing acute clinical experience, as well as community health experience. Current certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers. Current, valid driver's license and automobile insurance as required by agency policy.

Summary: This position functions as a Home Care RN and applies expertise of pediatric nursing to home care patients where care plan indicates such intervention is appropriate, and provides support and assessment to newborns and mothers under the grant-funded program. Employee serves in a consultant capacity to co-workers when increased knowledge of this specialty will enable the co-worker to provide improved patient care.

Requirements: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program. Position requires a minimum of one year of nursing acute clinical experience. Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Maine. Current certification in CPR as specified by the Agency. Minimum of one year of pediatric care work experience required. Home care work experience preferred.

Requirements: High school diploma. Graduate of secretarial school, junior college, or business school preferred. One to two years experience in general office work in health or human service agency, or related setting desirable. Must have insurance authorization / pre-authorization experience.

Pediatric Position

Summary: This position provides skilled, cost effective speech therapy services to patients (birth -18 years) through evaluation and establishment of individual interventions, so that each patient will attain his/her maximum functional independence.

Requirements: Master of Arts, Science, or Education degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program with all requirements met for engagement in Clinical Fellowship Year. Demonstration of successful completion of certifying examination (ASHA). Minimum one year of full-time equivalent experience in a supervised health care setting. Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Maine. Must be certified in CPR as referenced by Agency policy.

Requirements: Bachelorand#x2019;s Degree in Nursing preferred. Three to five years of progressive health care experience. One year of home care experience preferable. State of Maine Licensure as an RN, Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Work week includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with weekend rotation
