Life Will Never Be The Same!

Boy, is that ever true! My sweet girls have turned my world upside down. One of the sweetest moments that I cherish is the fact that I am still a source of safety, and comfort for my daughters. I love that they run to me when they are scared, or hurt. I love that I can help them feel better!

Another moment that I will cherish forever is sitting on the floor before I tuck Anya into bed, and praying to The Lord with her. She sits so quietly and still, and just listens. That’s a moment that I never want her to ever forget, and one that I frankly will never forget.

My little Olivia Grace. You are such a smiler! You love when people just sit and talk to you. I love your adorable little dimples when you smile, and your cute little cooing sounds. I have a feeling that you are going to be an early talker.

My sweet, beautiful girls I love you SO much!

Beautiful Monday

My sweet girls you bring much joy, and laughter into my life. This afternoon my adorable Anya decided to take a bath in coconut oil. Sometimes I think you purposely make messes just so you can take a bath and smiley Olivia slept through the night last night which was awesome. Daddy and I were so thankful to get a full night of sleep.

I want to stress something to you both that I pray you will never forget! You are beautiful. From your beautiful deep blue eyes, to your adorable “smelly” little toes you are perfect. You are both very beautiful girls. Don’t let the world seep into your thoughts about what they believe beautiful is. Their standard is impossible to ever meet… For anyone!

The Lord created you in His image, and He doesn’t make mistakes.

I love you both more then I will ever be able to tell you!

My beautiful daughters,

It was another cold day. So ready for summer already, even spring would be wonderful! My favorite memory of the day was Anya sitting in daddies lap reading a book, and little Miss Olivia rolling over on the floor babbling away.

This morning we went to church. It was so good to fellowship with our congregation. My sweet Anya you seem to have given up on napping during the service. Your adorable clapping and saying “yay” after we sing songs to our Lord brings a smile upon my face. I hope you always have that passion when worshipping your creator.

Grandpa and Uncle Josh came over after church to eat dinner at our house. It was fun to sit and chat with them, and watch Anya running around.

Olivia, you are amazed at everything. I have a feeling that you will be walking and talking before we know it.

The last few nights you have decided not to sleep, but we are pretty sure that you are cutting your first teeth!! Your favorite way to be soothed is by bouncing on my exercise ball. It’s wonderful though… I get a work out, and you get some much needed rest!

It’s been a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Excited to see what this week will bring.

Dear Sweet Daughters,

What a beautiful day it was. Some of my most precious memories of this day were seeing my little Olivia’s smile when I said good morning, and my little Anya’s bed head. I am so blessed with two very special, sweet, beautiful girls. You both mean so much to me!

Anya, it’s been such a joy to watch you grow and blossom into such a beautiful little girl. You are so vibrant and full of life. I love your energy! When you walk into someone’s house it’s blatantly obvious that you have arrived. Your nickname that we lovingly call you is the “destroyer” because of your tendency to take out every single toy in the room and spread them everywhere.

You love to play with the older girls at church, and run around. Your smile is contagious, and brings so much joy to so many people. You have touched so many lives already in your short year of life on this earth. I still can’t believe that you are turning two in a few months. Time sure flew by!

Olivia, my sweet little pumpkin! You are such a happy little girl. I enjoy watching you explore this world around you. You have started to laugh, babble, and roll over recently. How quickly time goes by! You love to be held, and to watch your sister play. Anya adores you! Some of your favorite things to do are to eat, and eat again, and eat again. You really love your milk

I am so grateful that The Lord entrusted Ruben and I with you girls. I loved watching the two of you on the floor this afternoon smiling, and laughing with each other. I pray that you two will always have a close relationship together.
