Yes, sadly as much as I wanted to avoid this, it couldn't be helped. Rather then have people think we are dead, I think it is better that we announce what is going behind the scenes.
In short, real life. A lot of the staff (including myself) have been quite busy, and because of that progress has been slow. We are a small team, and even though we are just doing one project or so, we also are a small team with real lives.
So we decided that we announce this Semi-Hiatus (notice NOT full hiatus) for just a while.
We will still be working on Dairanger, just at a slower pace. After we do get up to ep. 30 (the last on the DVD volume), that should be the deciding factor on whether we get out of a Semi-hiatus, or maybe even go into full.
Also for the J-drama fans, Sky High is also trying to be worked on, but the scripts for most of the episodes are pretty much off, so we need a timer to re-time them.
And we also have plans to sub another vareity show, but this time we may work on that at a much faster pace than the HeiseixShowa SP.

This project has been in the making since it aired back in August '09. So this was a very very very very very deep side-project. It's was a variety special that was about pretty much what the title says. They discuss about the Showa Riders and Heisei Riders. Also, Decade and Femme themselves are in the show alongside some comedian fans. Definitely worth a look see. Also....poor Shin.

Fonts: 1 or 4?

Hi, this is Aoiblue. I would like to discuss an important topic with everyone, and that has to deal with fonts that we are using currently in Dairanger.
Currently there are 4 different fonts that we are using for the dailogue. Each for The Dairanger's (in suit), Gorma, Byakkoshinken, and everyone else. And of course, there is also making on-screen text among other things. So, as being the typesetter of the series, its quite a handfull to do, especially now that I have just entered college. Now I originally picked these fonts as, at time, I would be doing it for deaf fans who were able to know who was talking in the show. But now as we are far behind then we originally intended to be, I have this question for everyone:
Would you want to watch the shower faster, with just 1 dialogue font, or can wait longer and watch with the other fonts?

Please comment below, every comment counts! It will help us decide what route we will be taking. And yes, we do read every one of them.

Yes, today is the 1 year anniversary of Henshin OrganizatioN.
Man time has flown by hasn't it? 24 releases and counting! And although we wanted to release something today, it unfortunately will have to wait, so look forward to that.
But yes, I want to thank all the staff members who have been able to make this day possible, and the fans who have stuck by us, thank you.

Yes, this is what I have been discussing with the staff the past few days.
We are in need of a second timer. We have nearly almost all of Dairanger translated (take few episodes here and there), our current timer can only do so much in such amount of time. So, we are looking for someone who could help perhaps, do a batch or even every other episode. But since we are a small group, we would want someone experienced for now.
We have the DVD raws up to episode 30, so you and our current timer will time those. After we buy the last two DVD's we can discuss on how to split those up.

Also, since it IS late May and early June some of our staff has school exams and other personal life they have to deal with. But, hopefully once summer vacation for all of us rolls around we'll have plenty of time to work on Dairanger. Thanks for always being patient everyone.

Oh, almost forgot to mention that all releases are now DVD quality. We'll also be replacing the TV rips that we used with the DVD ones later in the future.

Hey everyone, sorry that it hasn't been pretty active lately. It's partly due to me as the past month I have been taking an Apex class. If you don't know what that is, it's basically a class the helps you recover credits for a class you have failed. In my case, math (so much for my asian genes eh?). Good news is that I passed it yesterday, so my attention is now on the group.

Now here is the status of our projects:
-Dairanger 20, has been encoded, but we found some mistimed lines that got past us. Hoping to get this out soon. Much overdue.

Dairanger 21 - Edited, needs to be typesetted. Will do it over the weekend.

Dairanger 22+- Still being worked on of course.

Sky High 2 - In translation. Although the translator has some exams she needs to do so it won't be done for a while.

Now, we have been asked about the reuploading our megaupload files for certain episodes (which we are going to do). But rather then wait, we also have some Mediafire links up too for those that are having Megaupload problems and for those that can't download off of it. Unfortunately, not all the MF episode links are up, we are slowly building it. The MF links can be found in the 2nd post of the Dairanger Release thread.

And lastly, we are looking for a timer (preferably someone who does pretiming) who can help us sub variety shows from time to time. If you want to help, please PM either me (Aoiblue) or x1xBladex1x at the forums. Or you can email us at henshinorganization@yahoo.com.

Sky High is still being worked on. Some people have asked if we are going to continue the series, and the answer is yes. The staff has just been super busy, but we are working toward getting the next episodes out. Sorry for the delay.

& of course, Dairanger is progressing smoothly, so expect more releases of it too. =]

I myself just got done with the movie, and it was a great one. If you have seen the series, then you MUST see the movie. If you have never even heard of ROOKIES, then I suggest checking them out over at Skewed's. Not only do they have the movie subbed, but also the series. I believe this is a show anyone can enjoy, so I encourage everyone to give this awesome series a chance. You won't regret it.
