Are you looking for a proper English dictionary or your mobile phone to check for words whose definitions you would like to know on the move?

So was I. I always wondered why top dictionary houses do not provide an easily available and free mobile version without having to connect to the internet.

I have a Sony Ericsson phone and wanted to get a dictionary application for it for free.
Was searching for some good stuff around and stumbled upon this one here. Its developed by Vikrant Chavan.

It can be downloaded for FREE from here.

It is not only very useful with its large volume of words but very user friendly. And a perk is: you are not required to be connected to the internet on your phone to use it. (You may choose to connect to the internet though, if you would like it.)

Its compatible on all J2ME devices.

I have also tried it on my Nokia phone and it works just perfect. So, go ahead, download the dictionary and start digging for words on the move. If you know of any better option please leave a comment below.

OK. HonchoTips was created a while ago and has been lying idle ever since. This is because I had more pressing issues in life to deal with and also partly because I wasn't exactly sure what shape I wanted to give this blog.

But now I am determined to move ahead with my initial plans of keeping the blog running from time to time and publishing useful tips for the benefit of users/readers who might be looking for some stuff around that I may have just found.
