Hi there,
After a while with Tein HA and so much body work done. I decide to lower the car height a bit and due to that it causes my cambers to push my tires out and my tires worn out on the inside very fast. Search over the net a found a supplier who can provide the aftermarket adjustable upper arms. It's universal actually and I had it install to over come my camber issue.

It's perfect after all old bushing replaced, adjustable arm installed. My ride become smooths again. Best of all I had run on proper racing track and it never fail to excites me!

It's almost 2 year since my last blog update ...

Had my car painted Titanium grey and changed my windscreen.
Here are some teaser for your eyes, enjoy ...

My ears was disturb by the squishing sound from the back of the car, so decided to do all bushing change.

The HKS make a lot of noise, So I had it changed to Tanabe Hyper Medallion as it's more harmonize sound and performance as well.

Valve cover

Recently joined my pals to do some D.I.Y jobs ... here they are:

Tearing the old paint using paint remover

Use the scrapper just for those stubborn paints only, not all surface!

And did on mine also laa ...

Can see the paint damaged on it's own, so no need to scratch actually.

Tools used: soft rug/clean cloth, used tooth brush and scrapper.

After 20-30 minutes, clean up with running water and here how it looks:

Some sanding done to smooth the surface (use fine grid that you feel suitable)

Ok, before performing the spray paint. Close all holes and gaps with anything you can think of. Me, I just use plain multi-purpose 'old news papers'.

Here are the best part, using special ingredient magic portion ... spray this to the valve cover ...

Another angle

Wait for 3-4 hours under direct sunlight or if you have room oven even better. This is to secure and lock the powder coated paint onto your valve cover.

Then choose the weapon you like, me, I choose violet blue.

Notice the difference?

left: B16B valve cover and right: F20B valve cover. Same color but different layers of paint.

An yeah, I know I didn't skim the DOHC VTEC writing yet. Coz it's still not fully lock to the valve cover even you can feel it dries.

That's all folks, it took me 8 hours and only cost around RM100 to do it yourself.

S84 Exterior converts to CF6 Accord wagon front facelift

Have you ever envy to those nice cars?I mean those normal cars were "pimped" and modified to a fears-looks with average modified. Not those for auto show cars. I definitely don't want to ride in one of that. Here are some stock light modified Accord CG/CFs with Mugen body kits

Day by day, my car looks damn dull!!! ... So, what if I injected some "sunshine" to my car?.

In the picture, can see the CF4 fog lamp with the original casing being customize to fit my huge S84.

Actually planned to get my car converted to Euro-R the moment I receive the key from previous owner ... having though that it might just plug and play but actually it's not. Recommended by one of Accord member, bough the CF6 Accord wagon facelift

Can see the CF6 bonnet fitted inside S84?Save a few bucks in the transport charges!

and left the car for 3 days ... just cant wait to see the results

S84 Interior, clutch pump and fuel pump

Hi, there ... back again with new update. Since most of my friend's already in holiday mood, I finally have some time to update my blog ... for those who keep viewing and learning from my blog, thank you very much ... Really hope my experience can be use in good cause ...

Enough of that, so what's new to this year??

Done some refurbish on the interior. Open and redo back the FRP on the air cond panel ... looks ugly before though.

After some touch ups ..

But still I'm not satisfied ...

Last month while driving, my clutch pump leaks ... due to that, I cannot free my gear ... panic a while then remember to hump the pump few times until it' release the clutch. Thank God, if not I may end up in a drain ... If let the engine switch of while gear engaged, my LSD gearbox will go to the drain ... park a side the road and check what happen.

Both pumps is not working already, a lot of grease inside ...

Wondering how am I gonna drive the car to work shop without calling tow truck?? My wild guess was to bleed again and it works, sure I didn't keep any of the fluid brake spare. So what do I use? Just plain mineral water ... don't try this on your car, it just work for a while only. Enough for you to find help.

After all the modification, forgot to install any security alarms ... lucky I remember and here how it looks to re-wire back the cobra alarm system ... all wire are in BLACK color!!! ... damn!

After a while, my fuel indicator got some issue like intermittent. I was fooled by the meter few times, end up pushing my car to the road side due to out of petrol and my meter say "still got half" ... so Installed external fuel level meter

and that doesn't help also. Opened the S84 fuel tank, take out the pump assembly ... trying to figure out what went wrong ???

Test a few times by pulling the floater up and down, the fuel meter moves as well. Few crazy ideas flying into my head and one of it to dip it in water ??!! Of course water and gasoline density was not the same but at least I want to see for myself if Archimedes principle works or not. In other words, does it floats or the gasoline run in small whole on the floater ...

After quite some time, my friend bought a CF4 complete front cut including fuel tank. Just wondering if the tank was the same or not ... pluck out the fuel pump assembly and who would have guess it, it fits nicely in S84 fuel tank. The only different was, CF4 fuel pump assembly is a bit short than the original S84. Nevermind, as long as I don't have to push my car to road side again ...

After engine swap and test run for a month, it's a huge different with previous machine (MB020 with auto tranny). Some mods to fine tune stock setup.

S84 engine swap

Hi there, it's been a long time since my last update. Here are some photos on the engine swap

F20B on Accord CG, still got a lot of space in front (can fit a turbo kit maybe!)

Still have parts that can be used from this half frame

After the swap and test run

After completing the engine swap, test run for 2 weeks and later only found the power steering pump leaks. Note: CF4's F20B SiR-T doesn't come with power steering pump, in my case I mod it with H22A's power steering pump to swap with the Electronic Power Steering (EPS).

After a quick seal change, runs perfectly till today

Before the engine swap, I had custom the CF4 Tein (High Low SoftHard) type HA on my Accord CG since the F20B is quite heavy for stock absorbers.

Note: The Tein HA for CF4 is NOT direct fit to Accord CG/CF0/1/2/9 S84/86

Google everything that I need to know about CF4 and F20B ... most infos more about the tiptronics tranny. Until I found honda-tech. As long as engine mounting all perfectly fit, then it's safe for me to drive.

quoted from Honda-Tech about F20B:

"The F20B is kind of a weird motor; it has an H22 head with a F-series block. So you have the iron sleeves to play with, instead of the H-series FRM sleeves. Everything in the head is interchangable with an H22. Along with headers, intake manifolds; everything on the top-end.

(F20B motors have B16 rod journals if you didnt know.) Main journals 55mm (same as an H22a4)"

Stock F20B SiR-T, the only advantage of this HC was the dashboard still in perfect condition. The rest, well, it's stock!.

Welcome to my blog, as you scroll along this article may vary from actual facts because I'm still on a learning path and some of the info from my personal experience. The journey will make my experience worth of spending money and time .... Here it goes,

This car was manufactured in 2000 by Kah Motors and registered the same year. After great lost of my beloved Civic EK, I'm eager to get a new ride, much more powerful but yet comfort ... I've look at Accords. Here are some technical data that I gained over the net
