Cranio sacral therapy (sometimes referred as cranial sacral therapy) is a hands on, light touch form of body work that facilitates a profound relaxation response of the central nervous system. This modality helps to release the fascia, the connective tissue found throughout the body; the dual tube, which houses spinal fluid and the spinal cord; and enhance the body’s natural ability to realign and balance itself. New Activities Planned for Your Children

Please note that we have two ongoing extra-curricular activities this year. Stretch-N-Grow offers FunTastic Fitness Class on Fridays at 12:15pm. This is an active class taught by a certified fitness instructor, and the goal is to teach children about the benefits of getting regular physical activity and living a healthy lifestyle. It’s open to all children 2-5 years old, and the weekly fee is $5. SNG also offers Dance Party Class on Wednesdays at 12:15pm. This class is taught by an experienced dance instructor for boys and girls ages 3 and up. The fee is $5. Just let the Front Desk know if you are interested on that day, and we will sign your child up for a class. You may pay cash, check, or credit card at drop-off. All fees are paid directly to Stretch-N-Grow.

Gimmie A Break Provides Outstanding Preschool and After-School Care!

Looking for a solid Preschool program? Looking for great After-School Care? Consider Gimmie A Break! We offer several programs, including Full-Time/Part-Time childcare and Mother’s Day Out, that provide your child with a great preschool foundation while giving you the flexibility that you need. We have a comprehensive prekindergarten curriculum that’s based on the TEKS Pre-K guidelines (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills), which are the Texas standards for what students should know and be able to do across all subject areas prior to entering Kindergarten. We also incorporate Spanish into the daily instruction for all ages. And our After-Schoolers are welcome too! Unlike other childcare and daycare programs, parents have more flexibility at Gimmie A Break when they want to extend their pick-up time on any given day. If you need to, just use our Hourly Childcare if you’re running late. You also have the benefit of using Gimmie A Break if Saturday child care is needed. Looking for exceptional hourly child care, infant child care, day care centers, preschools, or after school programs for your child -- call Gimmie A Break! For 23 years we’ve helped parents in Clear Lake, Friendswood, Seabrook, Webster Dickinson, Kemah, League City and the Bay Area of Houston. We’re open until 11 pm during the week and until 2 am on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Hourly Child Care
We accept children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years, and reservations are only needed for children under age three. Our unique childcare solution offers a safe and fun play space that is available even when many other other schools are closed.

Preschool and Full-Time Daycare
In addition to hourly childcare, Gimmie A Break offers full-time daycare to children of all ages. The preschool curriculum for our Toddler Class (18-35 mos.) as well as for our Pre-Kindergarten Class (3 to 5 years old) includes all of the basics needed for Kindergarten preparation. Instruction is provided all day for Full-time Daycare and from 8:30 am to 11:30 am for Mother’s Day Out. Our teachers use a thematic approach that presents new and challenging concepts to the children, and our curriculum is a balance between individual instruction, group time, and teacher-directed activities. We recognize that children learn best through active participation. Unlike other full-time childcare and Mother’s Day Out programs, we offer greater flexibility with pick-up times because you are welcome to leave your child with us after the instructional period ends. Any additional time needed is billed at your regular hourly child care rate. We simply ask that you make reservations in advance for any children staying past the instructional period who are less than 3 years old. Check our full-time care tuition rates.

For children enrolled in our half-day Mother’s Day Out program, allow your child to join us for “Lunch Bunch” from 11:30 am until 2 pm once the Mother’s Day Out instruction is completed. This is a wonderful time for your child to socialize with his or her peers while having lunch, a rest period and movie, and some additional play time. After-School Care!
The fun activities at Gimmie A Break are not just reserved for our preschool children. We welcome our school-age children for After- School Care. Children will be encouraged to complete their homework in our “Homework Corner” before getting play time. Free snacks are served at 4 pm, and dinner is served between 5 and 7 pm.
