hello friends,
well is monday, and it was a very busy day!
unfortunately, not busy hunting, busy working.
i feel like i am failing you, as i have not put any new pics up lately.
i am trying!
we will be spending thanksgiving in nebraska this year, so at the very least i will post some pics of new scenery :).
thanks for staying with me!
talk to you soon, hope

hello friends

2010-11-10T16:06:00.000-06:00

well it has been about a week since my last post. i must apologize for being a bad host!
i haven't had a chance to get back out there yet! (sigh)
i am hoping this weekend i can at least get out there one day, i am having hunting withdrawls!
took the bow out the other day and got some practice in at the 3-d target. felt good to draw my bow even if it was just at the target!
worse case scenario is i go duck hunting this weekend, best case: deer hunting!
either of them sound pretty darn good to me!
hope you guys are having some great hunting and hopefully i will have some new pics for you guys soon!

hello friends!
well i hate to say it, but as of yet i have no new hunting pics.
we have been unable to get out there.
my husband went hog hunting on saturday morning, but the duck hunters were out in full force.
tomorrow is november 2nd, you know what that means? GO VOTE!!!!!
I do not care who you vote for, just get out there and do it!
i am going to post some of our halloween pics for your enjoyment.
we are going to try to do some hunting next week, and at this point i don't care if it is deer, duck or whatever-just need to shoot my bow!
happy hunting!

have a great week!

wednesday again.....

2010-10-27T22:01:00.000-05:00

it is looking like my husband will have saturday off, so he will be able to get a little hunting in, while i, on the other hand, will be working my butt off.
it is all good though, i am going to make sure he gets some pics for you guys.
maybe the weekend after this i will be able to get back out there! gosh, i hope so, since i have yet to bag anything! keep wishing me luck!

today is wednesday, and i have no appointments. i guess that means i will be cleaning house today! boo!
have been watching the forecast for this weekend and i am so glad it is going to rain on a weekend that i can't get out and hunt. for those of you that are fortunate enough to get out there this weekend, i hope the weather is great for you where ever you are hunting! have a great wednesday!

tuesday

2010-10-19T16:13:00.000-05:00

hello friends, it is with great sadness that i must tell you we will not be doing any hunting for almost a MONTH! i know, it is terrible, but due to the demands of my husbands job, he will be working 6-7 days a week for a month! ...and as much as i love to hunt, the thought of taking a six year old into the woods alone, frightens me :)! so, i will do my best to get some good stuff for you guys while we are on our break! on the plus side, when we do get back out there the weather will be perfect!

monday night!

2010-10-18T23:06:00.001-05:00

our hunting trip 10/15-10/17

2010-10-17T20:40:00.000-05:00

well it is sunday night and i am posting new pics as promised!
we saw many deer and a pack of hogs, of course they were on the state park (no hunt) side of the dam!
i figured since i could not get any pics of deer living or dead, the least i could do was give you some nature pics!
for those of you who don't get to camp or get into the great outdoors much, these pics let you see what your missing!
we love to hunt and always hope to bag something, but being out wilderness makes every trip a success!
got to let you guys all know, that we usually primitive camp, for those of you unfamiliar with this it means, no water, electric or bathroom,,,primitive! this weekend we fortunate enough to stay in a state park with full amenities! wow, it was like a four star hotel!!!

hope all of you had a great weekend!

I am trying to post pics as we speak but having little success, Hope to have them up by tomorrow at the latest!
