I found them while looking at ordering the "Shadow" when I came upon the "Prickly" It looks more like a style I can wear in warm or cool weather, with or without tights. I ordered from lorrishoes.com and they also have them on solestruck.com. I have never ordered from either site and it was hard to choose so I looked at the return policy(lorisshoes doesnt charge a fee to return) and they accepted paypal(had a balance in there).

They are $219.95 and I keep finding more JC shoes I love(late to the party i know). I dont like the Lita because EVERYONE has a pair and they're too chunky for my skinny legs.

Anyway, I cant wait to get them....will post pics as soon as I do YOU BETCHA!!

All from Nordstrom BP department a few weeks ago. I have the green pants and denim blazer on heavy rotation! I especially love the pants they are so lightweight and comfy.

I got 3 v-neck boyfriend t-shirts for $20 each and 4 tank tops I forgot the price. I also picked up the Frenchi tights. They're not opaque enough to wear as pants but my opaque ones have a hole in them. I nicked it when I was using my shaving stick as a fabric shaver(to remove the pilling. LOL).
I got a pair of navy ones last week and i like em which is why i picked up the black pair.

These will be my summer staples. Perfect with a maxi dress or some short shorts. They also come in grey and are $109.95 at Nordstrom. They are very lightweight and comfortable and I can't wait to strut them!

I used CND ridge out base coat and Out the door top coat and would you believe the next day, the polish fell out the whole nail. ON TWO FINGERS. I think it's the top coat. What a piece of crap TC, im taking it back!

Garment Rack

I took back the ones from Home Depot cos it was too wobbly. I also took back the ones from Walmart without opening the box cos for $9.99 it would prob suck.
I did more research and since the IKEA Rigga wasn't available, I decided to go to BB&B. I also needed hangers so I picked up some of those velvet ones I had heard about.
The hangers were 12 for $9.99 so I bought 2 packs. I got these racks:
And there's Foxy the photo-bomber!!

I put up the bigger one and it's sturdy and I just fell in love with it. I will return the smaller one and get 1 or 2 more of the big ones.

I'll be keeping one in the room and the other in my closet. I'm not sure what to hang on it. The floor of the room being converted to my closet is filled with clothes. I feel like I'm in an episode of hoarders without the bugs, rodents and defecation.

My jeans are the only things folded up for now. I'll be working on the rest when i have time.

OK, HONESTLY, THERE WAS ONLY 3 MORE OF THIS RACK AND I THINK I'M GOING TO BUY ALL 3. NO ONE ELSE NEEDS TO KNOW BUT YOU GUYS.

I first read about this when someone on LHCF suggested I try it because I was looking for a powder fdn. I asked someone at Spa Nordstrom about getting matched and she told me to stop by yesterday. She also mentioned that the tech/rep will be there training. Perfect.

He tried mink and chestnut on me and mink was ashy while chestnut was a little red but the best match. My only fear was that it would oxidize and get redder. He applied it with a certain brush and it felt so good, I asked him what type of brush it was and all he said was "YOU NEED THIS BRUSH". I was like...WTF, umm ok whatever!! LOL

He instructed me to apply to the side of my face with downward strokes and to the top and bottom with left strokes on the left side and right strokes on right side. I wore it on top on the NARS PR and he sprayed with some mist but I didn't like the smell. He said I should walk around for 15 mins and see how it looked. They didn't have my shade for sale so I didn't buy right there and then.

I was expecting to look REDDER and oiler after 30 mins and that didn't happen and I wore it till around 9pm. I couldn't get that brush out of my head and found out it's called the "Handi" brush. I ordered the refill(my shade was not listed in the actual compact), base and brush from nordstrom.com for about $100. The brush is $45!!! :o

I received it. I love the case...it's so...solid. And the brush is awesome also!

NARS Pure Radiant/Radiance Tinted Moisturizer

I got a sample of this from Nordstrom yesterday. My shade is Polynesia and I'm wearing it today to test it out. It has similar properties to BB cream which doesnt exist for darker skin tones like mine so I was excited! I used my fingers and it was very nice and smooth application.

I just went to look at my hair in the mirror(going to get a trim) and i was shocked to see that I looked GORGEOUS OMGGGGGGGGG!

The full sized tube is $42 and it will be available in Nordstrom stores on the 1st of February. I'll be first in line to purchase this gem!

BTW, It's called Radiant not Radiance.

It was so much trouble hauling it but sooo gratifying after it's been assembled and filled. I'm ready for a 2nd one and I think I need to buy an extra shelf.

Yes it looks like the leaning Tower of Pisa in the pic but it came with wall attachments and now straight :) I LOVE it <3 :)

Macbook Pro, Helmer and Billy bookcase

After work yesterday I drove to IKEA to get the Helmer. I decided to get the white one because I want lighter colors in the closet. I also picked up 2 rolling garment racks from walmart.

Today, I went to buy a new MBP. The one I have is a Core 2 Duo and I felt it was time to get the i5. I was considering a Macbook Air but I decided against it.

I asked around for a way to store my shoes and people suggested the Billy bookcase from IKEA. I went there this morning and was stumped because it's HUGE. I decided against it, talked over it with friends and went back to get it.

I was scared it wouldn't fit in my little civic. I basically put my backseats down and pulled the front passenger seat flat back. It fit and was right up to my head and I carefully drove it to my destination!

I also picked up 2 racks from Home Depot because I was scared that the ones from walmart were too fragile. Hey, they were $9.99!

I got one of the HD ones up. Tomorrow, I need to focus on more packing and moving instead of spending money.

New Project

Ok so my new place has 2 extra bedrooms and I've been permitted to turn one into a closet. Someone suggested getting garment racks and I flew with it. I asked around and I'm not setting up a plan. The main thing I have problems with are my shoes. They're EVERYWHERE. I cleaned out my coat closet and filled a box with only shoes. I had about the same in my car trunk and I emptied that out also. The rest are in my closet. I'm going to store the shoes on bookshelves and the clothes on garment racks from IKEA. Next thing is my nail polishes. I ran out of room in the Melmer so I'll be getting a Helmer from IKEA while I'm there. My polishes are currently on my night stand, in my night stand, on the end table in the living room, in my bathroom and on the kitchen counter. Can we say Hoarder?!! I was watching it and it scared me.

That's the basic plan for now and the first step is to go to IKEA after work tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated with pictures as usual!! Oh my Shellac is still FRESH so I dont have to worry about that. Now I have to figure out what else to pack.

I finally have the weekend off after working 9 days straights....yes since day after christmas. Im not sure how I did it but I survived! Of course my nails have been a H.A.M. I had Butter London Black Knight the whole time....chipping and all. I chopped my nails again and Im going to start afresh.
As soon as I left work I went to a nail salon/spa and got a full pedicure, massage(face and back) and shellac manicure. I was very curious about it and Im liking it so far. My silly self was shocked when the guy proceeded to massage my hands right after he finished applying the polish and was shocked that it didnt get messed up. I guess it's that machine that makes it dry so quickly! I WANT IT.

I got a navy color(dont know the name). I think I do a better job at applying but it's all good. I needed the pampering!

Another exciting news is that I purchased an iPhone. It was between Verizon and Sprint and I was disheartened after going to 3 Verizon stores and they didn't have any in stock so i went with Sprint. I just actually sold my iPod Touch today for a good price.

I'm also prepping to buy a new Macbook Pro within the next few days. One last news, Im moving out of my apartment and hope to be done with it by the end of the month. I just started packing tonight. I hate moving/packing...if it were up to me, I would sell/leave the big stuff but my friend is convincing me to keep them all.

Remington Curling Wand

Ok Im a bit of a snob with DS appliances. I was skeptical cos I tried that Remington flat iron and it sucked(snagging hair, not as good of a shine like I get with my FHI etc). I read rave reviews about the curling iron and since I've been looking for one, I bit the bullet when I saw that the big size was on sale on Target.com.....$19.99 from $29.99.

I've had goodluck with curling with my FHI but I wanted a curling iron just for the sake of it. I will test it out and let you know how I like it.

I heard about these and saw some swatches and my curiosity made me drive around town looking for it. Luckily, I only went to a CVS, Rite Aid then another CVS before finding it. I got these pictured below. I have swatches but im not sure which is which on some of them and I see that other bloggers with highly pigmented lips have swatches

My favorite is Cotton Candy and I have on Lollipop right now. These are definitely a YAY for me.

UO ruffle duvet cover

Ive had my eye on this duvet cover since FOREVER. It was $199 and most Ive spent on ANY duvets or cover so I asked it to my Christmas wishlist. My parents got it for me and it immediately went on my bed.

It's now on sale for $139 so check it out here! I asked for the King and my duvet is a Queen so I have to make it to IKEA to get a King duvet I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!

I went ahead and got a bunch of crap for myself for Christmas. Most of the stuff I asked for have been given to me or are on the way.

I always wanted these shoe ornaments from nordstrom. I knew they always went on sale for $1.90 each so I racked em up in ALL the colors. On the bottom are cupcakes, right are boots, lefts are handbags and top are the shoes.
