In this episode Twelve Horses President Steve Spencer chats with Jason Alba, jibberjobber.com, about Career Management 2.0. With over 27 million people on LinkedIn, Jason calls the service a “resume on steroids.” He says that LinkedIn is a “professionally accepted format” for resume and contact information. Steve describes Jibber Jobber as his own personal CRM. Even people who are happy with their jobs need to go out and build their networks because relationship building can only drive more business to the company.

In this episode of Horse Power we cater to the kids! http://blog.twelvehorses.com/ In an age when kids (and everyone else for that matter) get more information and entertainment from the web, ipods, mobile phones and anywhere-but-television, on-demand media, podcasts and mobile downloads become more important and subscription-based media management become way more powerful.
In this interview, we talk with Laurian Dixon about her work with John Friedman Alice Kimm Architects and Moore Ruble Yudell Architects in Los Angeles and Safdie Rabines Architects in San Diego.

Most recently she was a Project Manager and Lead of Architecture for Aero Studios and Thomas O’Brien where she ran their architecture and product design projects and helped launch their Vintage Modern line with Target.

Laurian grew up in Reno, Nevada and was recently in town to speak at the first gathering of the new Reno-Tahoe Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), which was held at the Nevada Museum of Art.

The purpose of the AIGA is, “to produce exciting events that promote the role of visual design in the community and elevate public perception of its value to business.” We are excited to see the group grow, and a number of Twelve Horses employees are members.
