<p>Together with co-driver Robert Vickery, Wrench overcame clutch trouble during day two to take a convincing one minute and 31 second victory over the Lancer Evo VI of Scott Strong and Nathan Walker.</p>
<p><span id="more-3935"></span>Igor Van Gerwen and Anthony Brandsema drove their much older 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four into the final podium position.</p>
<p>&#8220;We started off today and our clutch was slipping straight out of the Silverdome, so we nursed it all the way to the start. Our crew had a look at it and told us it was gone, but we decided to drive through the stages and see how it went,&#8221; Wrench said.</p>
<p>&#8220;We basically nursed the car all day and had to keep the car off boost at about 6500rpm all day, and just tried to keep the revs up and not change gears too often.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve really come into tune with the car today, and after the challenges that we&#8217;ve had, it&#8217;s been quite an achievement for us.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is our first rally together, and only my second rally ever.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s fantastic to finish first. We&#8217;ve really pushed it hard today and taken care of the car at the same time, so it&#8217;s a really fantastic result, and we&#8217;ll be back again next year.&#8221;</p>
<p>The winning crews celebrated their success with the traditional champagne spray at Launceston Silverdome in front of an appreciative crowd.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<img width="1024" height="680" src="http://www.hp-f.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/10-FPV-Coyote-Engine-3.jpg" class="attachment- wp-post-image" alt="10-FPV-Coyote-Engine-3" title="10-FPV-Coyote-Engine-3" /><p>The FPV FG GS, GT &amp; GT-P Supercharged Boss 5.0Lt Stage 3 package starts with our trained technicians expertly fitting a new high boost blower snout, a new set of high flow fuel injectors, high flow fuel pump (Ute only) all complimented by a big free flowing dual 3&#8243; cat back exhaust system and a high flow air filter to meet the demands of the additional horsepower.<span id="more-3639"></span> Once all the components are fitted, we custom tune your vehicle’s ECU on the dyno utilizing the latest Ford ECU tuning software to maximize power, torque and fuel efficiency. We complete the upgrade process by testing your vehicle on the road to make final adjustments, optimizing your vehicles performance and driveability. At the end of this upgrade we will provide you with a dyno graph comparing the ‘before’ power &amp; torque and the ‘after’ increase the HPF upgrade has made to your vehicle.</p>
<p>Like all HPF upgrade packages this package is modular in that it allows the customer to add to the package minimising the requirement to spend money twice when and if further upgrades are desired. HPF strive to bring you maximum performance with high quality components while still maintaining reliability and driveability.</p>
