Minimalism and understated elegance was his message, most recognized in ‘Composition with Red, Yellow, and Blue‘. His approach and aesthetic influences our design team, fusing colors and patterns. A master of Neoplasticism, Mondrian published the formulation as:

• Coloration must be in the primary colors of red, blue and yellow or the noncolors of black, gray and white.

• Surfaces must rectangular planes or prisms.

• Aesthetic balance must be achieved and this is done through the use of opposition.

• Compositional elements must be straight lines or rectangular areas.

• Symmetry is to be avoided.

• Balance and rhythm are enhanced by relationships of proportion and location.

Fashion’s Night Out is on September 10th, 2009. This is when all major brand stores will be open till 11pm. There will be celebrities, such as Diddy, Donna Karan and many other famous names from the world of Fashion, that will show up at their stores. In celebration of the special night, which will also be the first day of New York Fashion Week, we are having a contest. The contest entails that you have to guess at least 10 of the celebrities who are in the video below. The winner will receive a Chateau Flight Jacket from Hot Air (see pic below).

So hurry up and tell us who the celebs are because you only have 3 days to answer and WIN!

The balloon artist makes sculptures out of … yes, you guessed it, ALL balloons! His art work is amazingly beautiful, showing us that anything is possible. Click here for more info on him.
