Retired since 2003, The Aérospatiale-BAC Concorde (Concorde) was built for luxury travel, second to none… A product of an Anglo-French government treaty, it’s maiden flight was much heralded in 1969. A stellar transatlantic flyer, it recorded voyages in half the time of other airliners.

With only 20 craft built, their development came at a fiscal loss to their developers. But true to form, this aviation icon has become the measure for planetary travel. A true phoenix of flight forever more… The bespoke internal appointments were handcrafted with flare in the designers atelier’s, crafted to classic form.

• Aesthetic balance must be achieved and this is done through the use of opposition.

• Compositional elements must be straight lines or rectangular areas.

• Symmetry is to be avoided.

• Balance and rhythm are enhanced by relationships of proportion and location.
