"US presidential hopeful Barack Obama has called for delegates from Michigan and Florida to have their voting rights restored at the Democratic convention." BBC News

Now that the idea of having Hillary on the ticket is almost gone the idea of stopping the Michigan and Florida delegates having their rights seems silly. The war is over and Barack Obama has become the Democratic nominee.

The idea of having Hillary on the ticket has been dismissed as she has been given the Tuesday slot at the Democratic Convention in Colorado.

The Obama campaign has come out with their important initiatives for the campaign The blueprint committee clarified their position on health care and took the time to criticize the current Republican administration.

“In recent years, we’ve seen an Administration put forward a false choice between the liberties we cherish and the security we demand.”

The draft reads, “We will restore our constitutional traditions, and recover our nation’s founding commitment to liberty under law. We reject illegal wire-tapping of American citizens…We reject torture. We reject sweeping claims of ‘inherent’ presidential power. We will revisit the Patriot Act and overturn unconstitutional executive decisions issued during the past eight years.” Obama Campaign

It was only a few weeks ago that Obama was fighting with Hillary and still being called an ELITIST!

Hassan ibn 'Atiyyah, rahimahullaah, said,"A people never introduce an innovation into their Religion except that Allaah takes away its like from their Sunnah and then does not restore it to them until the Day of Resurrection."

The Gap is widening. No...I am not talking about the gap between my ears!

The Communications Gap between Muslims and the rest of the world. The East West Gap. Well at least in the United States there is a growing gap between what people believe about Islam and the true beliefs of the Muslims in America.

Now we have this story with Rachael ray and Dunkin' Donuts. The idea of having a certain kind of scarf with a certain pattern seems a little too far fetched. Why not just put a yellow crescent on all the Muslims arms?

I am sure that might be an appealing thought to characters like Michelle Malkin who said it was"hate couture" The keffiyeh kerfuffle.

"Nappy-Headed Hos"

With the recent problems in the press with Don Imus and the Nappy Headed Hos comment people are changing the way they talk about race. Rap and Rap artist have been taking some heat. Along with the rev. Al Sharpton for the Black Music industry.

The question is how Islam can play a vital role in changing the Rap culture with positive religious influence.

There will be no excuse for you since Allaah's Messenger explained the Sunnah to his Ummah and made it clear to his Companions and they are the Jamaa'ah, and they are the Main Body (as-Sawaad ul-A'dham), and the Main Body is the truth and its followers.
So he who contradicts the Companions of Allaah's Messenger sallallahu alaihiwasallam in any of the affairs of the Religion, then he has fallen into disbelief.”

What is the Clear Proof?

“Al-'Irbaad ibn Saariyah, reports that the Prophet said, "I have left you upon clear guidance. Its night is like its day. No one deviates from it after me except that he is destroyed." Reported by Ahmad, Ibn Maajah.”

"Abdullaah ibn Mas'ood radiallaahu 'anhu, said, "Follow and do not innovate, for you have been given that which is sufficient and every innovation is misguidance."

Who are the Companions?

“Beware of having bad manners; make your face one face and your call one call. For verily it has reached us that the one who has two faces and two tongues will have two tongues made of fire on the day of judgement.”

Abu Shaamah (d.665H) said,

"The order to stick to the Jamaa'ah means sticking to the truth and its followers; even if those who stick to the truth are few and those who oppose it are many; since the truth is that which the first Jamaa'ah from the time of the Prophet and his Companions, radiallaahu 'anhum, were upon. No attention is given to the great number of the people of futility coming after them."

Working with effort to increase Muslim and Islamic awareness in Communications, Public Relations (PR), Public Speaking, Political Strategy, Media, Marketing, and many  other fields as they relate to the integration of Muslims in the United States of America and around the world.

Saleem Siddiqui has undergrad degrees in Arabic and religion from the Middle East and attended Law School in Houston,Texas. He has consulted with the FBI and testified on behalf of the District Attorney of Virginia on cases relating to National Security and “The War on Terror”.
