I decided to join Music Monday this week. Sorry for my absence. I am fully occupied with my study again this week. I have another three tests coming up this week; Renewable and Alternative Energy on Monday, Chemical Engineering Lab II on Thursday and Mathematical Methods for Chemical Engineering on Friday. Gosh, and this isn’t my final exam for this semester yet. *Sigh*

Anyway, I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite duo which is Hermen Duen. This is a French duo that will tickle your heart from inside. A great choice when you’re down or when your head is tangled up like mine. “My Home is nowhere without you” is such a beautifully written love song, I feel obligated to share it with you guys. Earth Hour and Viagra

Hi guys, miss me? Don’t worry, it just another week before my study week start. Study week means a week free of classes and lectures. Oh yeah, it also means that I will be having my final examination a week after that. Put my student life aside, 8.30PM tonight, we will be joining the Earth Hour event.

Earth Hour facts:

Earth Hour is an international event organised by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund).
Earth hour was conceived by WWF Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, when 2.2 million residents of Sydney participated by turning off all non-essential lights.
Following Sydney's lead, many other cities around the world adopted the event in 2008.
Held on the last Saturday of March, it asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change
Iconic landmarks around the world including the Empire State Building (New York City), Sears Tower (Chicago), Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco), Bank of America Plaza (Atlanta), Sydney Opera (Sydney, Australia), Wat Arun Buddhist Temple (Bangkok, Thailand) and the Colosseum (Rome, Italy) are joining this event.
Close to five million Malaysian are expected to switch off their lights during Earth Hour, along with the people at 2100 cities in 83 countries.
The official website www.earthhour.org/malaysia is reported to have crashed yesterday owing to the more than 60000 visitors it received over the past few days.

Drunken Gorillas

How often did you see drunken gorillas?

When wildlife photographer Andy Rouse was told he would find a family of endangered gorillas high on the mountain, he did not expect to find them this high. Sitting back in the foliage as if it was a cocktail bar, the mountain gorillas had been gorging on alcoholic sap from fresh bamboo shoots and were looking distinctly the worse for wear.

When the snapper returned the following day, all was quiet, with the apes apparently sleeping off their hangovers. We can only sympathize with the shock no doubt experienced by some of the beasts when they awoke and discovered who they had spent the night with.

A Prayer Machine

How lazy are you to pay a machine for reciting your prayer? Does it still count?

For a small monthly fee, a new Internet service called Information Age Prayer will use speech synthesis to verbalize three prayers a day for you. While the company offers no guarantee that God will answer, they do promise the computer-generated prayers will be read at the proper volume and pace, and that your name will be printed on a screen each time one is articulated.

Prices vary from $1.95 a month for prayers for your children, to $3.95 a month for prayers for world peace. As of now, you can't write your own prayers, but the company claims they will add this feature once they can assure "no malicious prayers will get through."

60ft Phallus (Penis) On the Roof

Rory McInnes, 18, climbed on to the flat roof of his parents' home and daubed the symbol using a tin of white paint, after watching a programme about Google Earth. But parents Andy and Clare did not discover their son's rude artwork until a helicopter spotted it on top of their home near Hungerford, Berks.

When Mr McInnes phoned his son, who is currently in Brazil on a gap year, the teenager said: "Oh, you've found it then!"

The boy's father appeared to take the prank in good humor.

If you lined your handbag with tinfoil you can evade the detectors at the store entrance. Unlike a lot of Food Channel recipes and products you purchase on infomercials, this handy tip really works. Waters made it out the door of her local Lowes with a power drill. She might have gotten away if she hadn't made a more basic mistake. She didn't realize a store detective was watching.

Prime Minister, Entrecard and Hell Mouth - It Never Gets Easier

Malaysia’s Newest Prime Minister - After whom? I can’t seem to remember our last Prime Minister name. Hurm..

Najib Abdul Razak will be elected as the new Prime Minister of Malaysia today. The sixth Prime Minister will be handed over the topmost job from the former Prime Minister, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. The aftermath of March general election in a way has forced Badawi to step down from the post. The country hopes for a strong leader that will guide its citizens in embracing the economic difficulties ahead.

In case you are wondering why am I writing this way, at this very moment (10 am) I still have a hangover from months of doing technical writings. My hands are burned due to the heat from the keyboard. No, seriously. Anyway, back to the topic, I hope this time around, Najib would show some changes that he has been promised before. No corruption, no personal favor and more actions.

Oh, and Badawi has been giving a Tun title from the King. How considered of him but damn Malaysia and its lengthy titles.

I had been religiously doing my dropping and I was able to complete 30 days of doing the same 300 drops without a missed. Well, there was one day I only managed to drop 167 drops. But I blamed it on my internet connection. Driven by my undying curiosity (and my passion for maths), I have done some calculation on the hours I spent on dropping. I relatively need 3 hours maximum to finish my 300 drops, and times that with 30 days, I managed to spend about 90 hours of otherwise my quality times for myself on Entrecard. Whether I am going to do the same thing this month? Of course I will. Well, at least I will try my best.

No, I am not addicted. I knew I had a problem, I just too damn lazy to care.

Out from the Hell Mouth into the Hell Stomach - well, at least it’s warmer there

I have finished my tiring months of study. I had done about 9 tests, 3 heart wrenching (literally) VIVA presentations (I bad with abbreviations don’t ask me what VIVA stands for) and finally I have officially entered my study week today. This means I will no longer spent 9 hours attending lectures every day. This also means that I will be having my final examination in the following week. Yey to that. I can’t wait for this semester to over.

I usually will spend my study weeks undergoing the same routine over and over again. I will be spending about 8 hours in the library (at least an hour less then before) and enjoying myself during the night. So, don’t worry, I will definitely spend my times attending your sites and replying comments on my blog. :)

Oh and I am glad most of you like my previous post, The World is Getting Weirder. It’s a simple post about some weird news. I wish this week will bore the same weirdness for me to share. And if this thing takes off well, I might change my site tagline. It would be: Hot Shit Form Here, I am Just Weird.

I am Living in a Mad World

There were lots of messes going on in the blogsphere and I was somehow entangled in it. No, I wasn't talking about the Entrecard and its paying ads. Even that I can handle. It's totally different kind of problem. Some of you already know about the problem, but most are not. Even though blogsphere seems like a large place, the truth is it smaller than you expected; especially when you are sharing lots of common readers and commenters with each other. Therefore, I rather not elaborate further on this matter as it may divide this already small community.

That being said, I would like to express my regrets and my sincere apology to Gagay for I might just contribute to her disqualification from one particular contest that she joined. I am truly sorry Gagay.

I will start my final examination tomorrow (13th April 2009) and with all these messes, I am mentally and emotionally exhausted. I haven't been sleeping properly and even when I did, I dreamt about commit suicide or killing someone else. Gosh. Can someone build a time traveling machine for me so that I could just fast forward my life and see what the next two weeks will hold?

A Place to Escape

When there are problems, I try to escape by going to somewhere else. No, it’s not into some kind of world fantasy. I rather am at a place that is real as possible. One of my favorite places is to be surrounded by people. Just standing there with all the noises of chattering and stomping, I feel I am alone only with my mind. Don’t get me wrong. I love being alone sometimes. I could have a chance to clear up my minds and sorting jumble of pieces that if not, are floating my inner self.

My other escape place:

Imagine everything moves in a slow motion when certain incident is occurring. I just want to capture the beauty of what God has created; especially when the raining is coming, how the breeze shake up the trees, leaves falling down and how people running to bring in their wet clothes – people in Malaysia loves to hang up their laundry under the sun. It is amazing!

Watching people in motion; everyone seems to know where their destination is.

There you go. I hate to leave this post this short. But I still have another two papers to kill; this Monday and the last one on Wednesday. I will be back to my hometown in Johor on Thursday night, start packing and went straight to Kuala Lumpur for my industrial training (practical training, internship, whatever you call it) on the next day. Oh, and I also must finish my journal for a writing competition before the end of April. God, I am sure had my hand full.

Anyway, where are your favorite places to escape? I am sure you must have your favorite place to go :)

Yes, Adam Lambert is Gay, but could he be the first Gay American Idol?

Is Adam Lambert is gay? Following the madness of his photos circulating the Internet, yes, Adam Lambert is gay.

But, could he still win the American Idol? Well, if it’s up to me, yes he could. American Idol is a competition in searching for a singer and Adam is no doubt one of the best singers they had found – some even said in the history of American Idol. (See Adam's pictures after the jump) Truth is, whether you like it or not, sexual orientation issue plays a major part of our life now. Remember Miss California’s answer when she was asked by Perez Hilton in Miss USA 2009?

Carrie Prejean said, "We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

And she lost the title to Miss North Carolina. In my personal opinion, religion should always being kept to oneself. No offense, but the values that we shared perhaps differs with others. Logically, if you want to be Miss USA, you will represent all Americans, to which not only comprise straight people, but gay alike. That being said, she has every right to express her opinion in any matter and I don’t think her answer is more wrong than right.

So, back to the main topic, do you think Adam will win American Idol this season? Whether the contestant sexual orientation may sway your votes and for the rest of the world, you likeness towards him?

These pictures were taken from our balcony in Paris!

Hi guys! Sorry for missing out this week. Again. I already started my days as an internship at one of scholar’s branch company. And my first impression when I stepped into that cold glass door was that, “I chose a wrong place for my internship”. (Okay, may be not that long, but you get it).

The place is suitable for biotechnology, bioprocessing or something along that line of works. It requires you to do lot of lab works for research purposes. That being said, I really like the working environment there. Everyone seems friendly to each other and ~~eerily~~ look like one big family.

Not bad for spending your 10 weeks there, I hope. Anyway, this also my first time living in an apartment. My house is at the top most floor (20th floor) and apart from the crowded space below, the night view of the city is breath taking. The nightlife there is equally tempting. I am sorry though for not posting any of the pictures here. I haven’t managed to upload it into my laptop.

Owl City - Hot Air Balloon

I planned to join Music Monday last week, but my works have already piling up by then. I have to do two technical writings last week. One entitled Water for The Future: Challenges and Potential Solutions and the other one is about Solid State Fermentation. I actually hate doing technical writing. You have to make sure the facts are correct and reliable, the tone must be straight forward and you need to use those technical terms. After all the hours of writing, I usually need to relax my mind. And last month, I found the right tune for my relaxing moments.

Therefore, let me introduce to you, my latest craving of electric pop; Owl City! The music blended well with the lyrics and every time I listen to one of Owl City songs, I will be escaping myself from the reality to the place where Adam Young’s voice guided me. Awesome!

Kris Allen, the New American Idol!

I couldn’t believe it! The two hours result show was a blast! The stars studded show definitely was really entertaining. Apart from great performances, there were lots of skins on the stage; Kara DioGuardi showed off her bikini body while singing with the former contestant, Katrina “Bikini Girl” Darrell. My favorite show would be the Adam Lambert and Kiss performance.

After close to 100 million votes, Kris Allen was announced as the winner of American Idol season 8th. The underdog of this season finale is more humble than ever. I actually couldn’t believe my ears listening to Kris’s answer after being asked by Ryan Seacrest after announcing Kris as the winner. This was his answer: "It feels good, man, but Adam deserved this. … I don't know what to feel right now, but this is crazy!" Okay, who said something like that after just being announced the new American Idol?

This has been one heck of a season. Even though I prefer Adam Lambert to win this season (this wouldn't be your first gay American Idol after all), Kris definitely deserved it. All hail world, beware for they will conquer your world. Congrats again Kris Allen!

So, do you surprise with the result? Who should win American Idol this season? Kris Allen? Adam Lambert? Danny Gokey? Allison Iraheta? By the way, what do you think of Kara DioGuardi (nice bod though)? Should she come back next season? Should Paula Abdul go?

Life's Greatest Lesson (Part I)

I lay on my bed for a whole hour before decided to start typing a little story that has been running in and out of my mind lately. The weather outside is breezy with the sign of heavy rain is coming. After spending all morning attending Interaction Day with my juniors (will tell more on that later), I just spent the last two hours rejuvenating myself. Accompanied by a hot caffeinated drink, with my roommate is sound asleep, I have the perfect space and tagline (Hot Shit Form Here new tagline; Life and More) to share with you the life’s greatest lesson.

What is the life’s greatest lesson? I once asked the same question to one of my high school favorite teachers on this subject. I still remember what his answer was; “learn how to live, love and die”.

I have a bubbling question to ask him that night, but my dad already arrived to take me home from the tuition center. Yes, I took additional classes on night with the same teacher who teaches me in the school. There seems to be no point of going there, since he teaches almost the same thing in school, but I need to spend all the time that I can get with him. And he’s one of the unique people I ever met until this day. He moves quite fast for a person with a limp leg and has the ability to detect the slightest change in people’s voice. He gets personal with his students and taught all that he knows.

The subject was chemistry and he was one of the reasons why I am taking a chemical engineering degree. But he also taught me about life; the greatest subject of all.

Life

He once said that what is important in life is to know your own self well. What do you want in life? How you want to live it? By knowing that, you have the ability to see all that matter in your life. You could do life changing decisions and live with it. You could be more true to yourself. And the most important is that is when only you could set priorities in life. The truth is, at a tender age of 17, I barely understand half the words his said. As years past, after skipping through all the awkwardness of teenage life, I am beginning to have a much clearer picture by what he meant.

The more you learn about yourself, the more you know what the best is for you. For some it’s about accomplishments, while for others, it’s about getting lots of money, building a family, contribute to society, being the most popular guy he can be, and the list will goes on and on. No one has the right to determine how you gonna live your life, but you have to consider others in your life. No man can live on the island alone.

Love

With a slight human touch, the life that you have been living in will takes a different turn. Love is all that matters, someone once said. You cannot run from love, others uttered. While the best of life could be discovered in the circle of love, from time to time you will stumble upon a hatred wall that gives you a second though about loving others. And then will comes the cheating, jealousy, anger, insensitivity towards other and not to mention hatred itself.

The simplest way to handle this conflict is to look into own self and ask this question, what is that you looking for in life? Check your priority list, comply with your moral compass and peek into your spiritual guidance and hopefully you will arrive to the answer. Seek your closest one for helps if you failed.

In the second part of this post, I will narrate to you about death - the final part of Life’s Greatest Lesson. Sorry for the long post. I have been looking for the right comeback post. And I hope this will do it. Stay tune for more!

Batik Production

Hi guys! I am in a full swing this weekend. I am still waiting for your reactions on my last post, Life’s Greatest Lesson. Someone was complaining to me the post was ‘quite heavy to take’. So, I am trying to lose it a little bit by posting pictures from my Kelantan trip. I went there with my family and my brother’s fiancé during one of the weekend in between my industrial training.

Kelantan is a state in the north-east of Malaysia. It is an Islamic state, which makes it quite different from the rest of the states. They don’t have night clubs or cinemas there, and even the performers will be wearing scarf or tudung when performing there. Even though 95% of the population are Malay, I am easily impressed when I saw a Chinese talking in Kelantanese dialect.

Sorry for the blurry images. The weather is too hot for me to go outside of the car to snap the pictures. Plus, I was in a moving car at that time. LOL

I suddenly feel like being in Indonesia where all the citizens neglecting their races talks in a unify language; Bahasa Indonesia. Apart from that, Kelantan is famous with its songket and batik, and I have the opportunity to see the making of batik!

You have to be skillful enough to hand painting the design of batik

Since every batik was handpainted, the design is unique only to one batik

It was then brushed to give textures on the batik

Final touch was done

Some dyes that were used

Then, it was washed and left to dry

And ta da! They are ready to be sold!

HOT SHIT FORM HERE - Tackling Issues One Post at a Time

Issue: Language Barrier.

People in Malaysia could not stop talking about how Malaysia’s government decided to revert from teaching Science and Maths subjects in English to Bahasa Melayu (PPSMI) in 2012. They said that the rural students could not coped with English language, which resulted in bad grades in both subjects. They also felt that Malaysian should do like France, Japan and Indonesia have done; studying everything in their own language. Meanwhile, for those who think that the government has taken a backwards step towards globalizing Malaysian, their argument is that English is an important language and this was one of the ways of enhancing our English proficiency.

My Thought:

At first, I thought that this was a yet another crappy move made by the government. Why do you want to compare the urban and rural students together at the first place? They obviously received different kinds of education, exposure and family backgrounds to start with. Then again, do you really think we should retard the growth of urban students’ knowledge just to let the students from the rural area to catch up with the rest? Okay, that may not be the brightest arguments from me when you said it out loud. However, when I said the same argument to my father, he simply said;

“Well, if you could master the fundamental of the subjects first, you should not encounter any problem when you’re learning the rest of it in a different language.”

Come to think about it, it is true.

On the other hand, I may have to post this kind of “short post” from now on. Yes, I could hear some “Hurray” from behind. The truth is I will most probably be ~~busy~~, VERY busy throughout this semester (since this is my final year and all). In addition, this may be my last post for this week; I will be off to Kuala Lumpur (for the second times this week) to attend a career exhibition in PWTC on Thursday. My bus will leave tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. Don’t worry; I will try to get online as soon as we arrive in the hotel tomorrow. I will try to reply all your comments, return back your visits and perhaps even drop my EC there. Have a nice day!

A H1N1, Blogging and Taylor Swift

I am breeding H1N1 viruses inside my body. I have dripping nose, fever and my body sweat like hell. Well, maybe it is just an ordinary flu, but I think it would be more dramatic if I am sporting one – I am afraid to visit a doctor for the fear of getting quarantined. Don’t worry though, I have limited my activity in the public; sitting in front of my laptop and television all the time. Did I mention on my bed? Well, I am actually enjoying my sickness while it last.

For those who haven’t heard, my campus, Universiti Sains Malaysia (University Science Malaysia), Engineering campus, has been ordered to close for a week. There are few confirmed H1N1 cases, lots of students have been quarantined for suspected cases and almost a quarter of my friends were having high temperature fever.

So, when the lecturers started to missing from classes due to medical leave, the campus has no choice but to give us an early mid semester break. Then, couple days after started my holiday, I start to have ulcers on my tongue, lots of it (I have difficulties to speak, not to mention eating properly). Not long after that, I start to have flu, headache and sore throat.

But now, thank God, I am feeling much better. I will start my class again on this upcoming Thursday. I can’t wait to be swamped with works again.

This year has done nothing good to my blogging activity. I spend less and less time on blogging and more on doing researches, reading hundreds of journals and doing literature review. I sincerely feel sorry for my absence in blogging world. I am not sure whether you missed my presence or not, but I did miss you guys. I hope I will be more active after this.

By the way, I love love love Taylor Swift latest video; You Belong with Me. Her lyrics, songs and videos are very personal. And somehow, I feel connected in some ways or another with her life. That my friends, are a good artist.

What Have I Done for These Past Few Weeks?

Hi guys! I am back again. Haha. Sorry for missing out lately. I involved in so many activities until I lost track of time. And suddenly, it’s almost the end of 2009. Gosh. Where does the time fly?

First of all, I have been juggling the time between my design project and my final year project. My team and I had to design a chemical plant for the production of nitric acid. We proposed the plant to be built in Bintulu Sarawak due to the availability of our raw material; ammonia. We had to plant everything from the scratch; do the market analysis, cost estimation, production capacity and so on.

On the other hand, I just started my final year project. The title of my final year project is “Taming the Wild Type of xxx (the name of enzyme) on the Bioreduction of 1, 4-bromophenyl-ethanone into (R)-1,4-bromorphenyl ethanol in the Production of Angiotensin Receptor Blocker (ARB) Chiral Drug Precursor”. Don’t worry if you couldn’t understand what the heck I just said. I couldn’t understand it either when I first heard it. But in the layman words, I am trying to produce a drug to dilate blood vessel that hopefully will reduce the possibility of heart failure, treating high blood pressure and preventing kidney failure.

As Nobel as the project may sound, I cannot expose the name of enzyme that I use and the detailed procedures of the research done. If this project successfully conducted, there is a possibility of selling the product. I am not so good hearted after all.

Next, I also participated in National Chemical Engineering Symposium (NACES) 2009, held in Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) last weekend. Yes, this is the same competition where I won the second runner up in Technical Writing competition last year. But this time around, I am in the Technical Presentation team. And guess what? We won the first place! Yeah! Congrats to all the presenters. Even though my university only sent six participants (one of the fewest among other universities) – four Indians, one Chinese girl and one Malay, we actually won something there. Of course, when all the chemical engineering students’ representatives of universities in Malaysia gathered around, the environment is very formal yet educative.

Young students with their bubbling and innovative ideas are more than keen to share their opinion on this year theme; “Water Crisis: What Can We Do?”. I was impressed with some of the ideas and at the end of the three days event, I somehow feel a little bit smarter than before. Well, at least I have the opportunity to have an in depth knowledge on that particular topic. By the way, rest assured, I am sure if Malaysia is having water crisis in the near future, we, as the budding chemical engineers will come out with the best solution for the country. *crossing fingers*

On Monday night, we flew back to the college and then I have to attend Annual General Meeting of Chemical Engineering Student Society on Wednesday. After the meeting, I went straight back to Kuala Lumpur and will be back in Johor tomorrow (on Friday) to celebrate the first day of fasting in my hometown. I can’t wait to rejuvenate (and washing my clothes) as soon as I arrive home. It has been hectic few weeks for me and not having enough sleep is very tiring. Have a great weekend everyone! By the way, since I upgraded my firefox browser, I cannot find my Entrecard toolbar. They said that it’s not compatible with this current version of firefox. Am I the only one who noticed this?

Annoying Thing in Life 1 – Talking Really LOUD

Finally I am home. Well, not in my hometown, but still, back among my family members. I am currently in Kuala Lumpur staying in my brother’s house. We will be back to Johor tomorrow evening. It’s really good to finally get away from all the madness of college life. I felt like I already lifted out one matrix tones of problems from my shoulder. Oh, and it feels damn good!

Life has been great. Yes, the workload has been multifold in recent weeks (months probably) but I am enjoying every bits of it. This is my last year in college and although I can’t wait to graduate, I am savoring the last pieces of my student life. Cheers to that.

As you may already know, Muslims all over the world are in the eve of celebrating Eid ul Fitri. Which means that we have spent this last month fasting. In this period of time, besides teaching us how to control our urges, we were taught to be patient in dealing with part and parcels of life. I failed miserably.

I think I lost my patient more often this month. I was easily annoyed whether by other people attitude or by little mistakes that I have done. Instead of being patient and forgiving, I have changed to this outspoken and easily intimidating by others.

Which is a good reason for me to start a new (and I hope it could be a weekly if not monthly) topic for Hot Shit Form Here; Annoying Things in Life. Interesting topic isn’t it?

Annoying Thing in Life 1 – Talking Really LOUD

Have you ever noticed how loud Asian people talk? First situation, when ~~they~~ we were on the phone we tend to speak like we’re fighting about something important instead of having a normal (and calm) conversation like any normal human being in other parts of the world shared with each other. Or when the room was filled with Asians, it always a common thing to forget that we actually just sit next to each other and there is no need to speak in the highest octave of which our voice can give.

My friends and I have come out with several theories on this matter. First theory is that since we were “blessed” with high fertility rates, small eyes and relatively fair skin, we always tries our best to be different from each others. When ridiculous hair styles or fashion sense failed to do so, we channeled our inner self in speaking as loud as we could. Thank God we succeeded. The other theory and the most highly unlikely is that after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by US, the rest of Asia has been having severe hearing damaged. Remember, we also like to blame others.

Law Abiding Citizen

My final exam is getting nearer, which means my design project (nitric acid production plant part I) almost finish. I am just waiting for our design presentation next week. And since this semester I am only taking two courses that have final exam, my days are less hectic and more fun. For example, yesterday my friends and I (including one of my lecturers) went out to watch a midnight movie, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx.

I love Jamie Foxx and I want to see more of him, but in this movie, it’s more focusing on Gerard Butler as the bad guy. Well, not really a bad guy (he kills people cruelly though, but nowadays, who doesn’t?), but he’s actually a guy who just wants to highlight the bad side of our justice system.

He tries to raise the fact that in the justice system, not always the good one wins. The system will decide which side will win the case based on how they managed to manipulate the system. Every crime need to be supported with concrete evidences and in some cases, the when the evidence is not sufficient or strong enough, the bad guy will walks free.

The movie was built around this matter and with lots of explosion and evil genius plans; it actually developed into an interesting movie. I hate the end though. It definitely deserved a better ending; the evil will prevail and the justice system will be fixed. Nevertheless, the movie is not a total disappointment and I give it 3.5 stars.

Why should you watch it?

There are lots of explosion, gruesome killings and Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler in it.
It has prison break scene, high tech bombs and military gadgets.
Not to forget, this movie was co-produced by Gerard Butler. Not a bad try.

A Year Older

Hi guys. I am back. I have been pretty busy these couple of weeks. First, I have my final examinations and after that, I went back to my hometown to attend my brother’s wedding - I can’t believe I made a spelling mistake when I named my brother’s wedding photos in Facebook to be “My Brother’s Weeding”. Hah!

And in between those two tiring events, I had my birthday party. On 11/11/2009, I was officially had entered my 22nd years of living. Much had changed since the last birthday; my younger brother’s furthering his study in Australia, my older brother has finally married, I am in my final year already and this upcoming semester would be my last semester here, and the most significant changes would be towards my own self.

I became more perfectionist than ever, my politeness has changed to a meaner behavior, I am becoming bossier than before, I am wearing contact lens more often than wearing spectacles, my shopping addictions are worsen and my mood swing is getting often. All and all, my life has treated me well!

Thank you so much for all your kind wishes whether it’s on my Facebook wall, Twitter account or message me through the phone. I am planning to enjoy my life well this year. A year older, just a year older. *sigh*

I am Tired

Sorry guys. I have been very very busy this couple of weeks. I literally typing this post with an eye closed. It’s 3.10am in Malaysia and every inches of my body have been screaming of tiredness. I have been in and out the laboratory to do my final year project experiment. After a long day in the lab, I just want to have a good rest before starting the same routine all over again. Thank God, tomorrow I will be heading to my friend’s house to celebrate Eid al-Adha. Yup, I even don’t have time to go home to my hometown for this celebration. Oh, Happy Thanksgiving too!

Malaysia is Not So Prosperous After All

Last night, I heard a sad story about one boy who was given RM5 from his father who’s waiting on their old bike outside Secret Recipe restaurant in Terenganu. The boy was so happy and literally jumping on his feet while choosing one of the deliciously looking cakes there. But when it’s time to pay for the cake, it turned out that none of the cakes there are worth less than RM6.50. Trying to restrain his urges to cry, he went back to his old father and they sadly cycling back home.

I instantly stop talking and ate my RM4.50 McFlurry Mudpie silently for two minutes. When my friend asked why I’m so quiet, I answered, “I am trying to hold back my tears and sweat because this RM11.88 (not including tax) Prosperity burger is so spicy”. I lied.
