About 9/11: Am American Disaster

This is yet another post that could be off topic as far as the subject of some of my blogs are concerned. However, this is important nonetheless. This is about America, the country I live in and how the September 11th Disaster that occurred on September 11th, 2001 affected our whole country, and our whole world. Therefore, I decided to alert you that I have posted this entry on more than one of my blogs.

Incoming Blog Entry: Work and Your Health

I just posted an article on Caught My Eye regarding the top ten most dangerous jobs. This determination of danger is based on the number of deaths per 100,000 people. When you consider your line of work you have many pros and cons to consider.

This is true whether you are a freelance writer, home business owner, or factory worker. It is true whether you desire to be in a more physical job, such as fish harvesting, logging, farming, or machine operating. Police work also is very risky, among other professions. I have a link on my blog via the Caught My Eye for people who want to learn more about new professions.

This may be one way to appreciate whatever line of work you are in, It could also help you determine whether or not you should remain self-employed or find a steady job, or vice-versa.

Hello world! This is the J.A.B.'s Freelance World Blog Network shouting out to everyone that I have a Notice of New Blog Post (Local Green Bay, WI Blog), It is a more personal blog and I just captured my experience of Artstreet 2011, a special local event for artists and musicians. I respect Obama as my president, and I agree with his stand against Gadhafi and Libya. All the videos, including this one, that I have watched so far have caused me to fantasize Gadhafi being euthenized (or whatever form of capital punishment is administered these days). I want to witness him being buried right next to Saddam Hussein.

America will Never Forget 9/11-And Shouldn't!

I am sitting here right now remembering what I was doing on 9/11 in the year 2001. I had just been getting out of bed to get ready for work at that time.

I received a call from a friend who was in a prayer group I was involved with at the time.

"Guess what?" He said. Then he proceeded to tell me that the Towers in New York were blown up. I was like...what?!

Probably the same reaction most Americans had at that time. This was especially something that hit a little bit home for me in that I lived in New York at one time in my life.

Even though I was back in my home town in Wisconsin, I felt such grief at that time. I was glad to find out that no one I knew from there was hurt though.

I am ashamed to admit though it did take me awhile to call and find out. (It was not close friends or family just people I lived with while I was there.) I probably just was afraid to find out the truth.

By the time I did call I was glad they were all okay, especially the one that I knew had worked on Wall St. That was a relief.

I had also knew a neighbor of mine (in Wisconsin) that knew some people from New York. He had some relatives who were from there. He wanted to find out if they were okay. He seemed quite upset about it.

Anyway, all I wanted to say about this is that America will never forget that day. And shouldn't!

Overview of Nazi Germany's Health Care (1918-1945)

A few weeks ago I heard a talk show host compare the Obamacare Plan (a.k.a. HR 3200) with the health care system of Nazi Germany. Therefore, I took it upon myself to research the history of Germany’s health care system.

This will be the first of several entries regarding this, so please check back for more info periodically.

Brief Background

Bismark was in power in the 1880s when a new German health care and social system was implemented. At this time it was part of an “anti-socialist” legislation, belief it or not. The justification behind this was the belief that a moderately socialist government set in motion would prevent a more severely socialist one from running the country.

When Weimer was in power, doctors became more dependent upon the government. In other words, as Marc S. Micozzi, M.D. puts it, “By the time of Weimar, German doctors had become accustomed to cooperating with the government in the provision of medical care.”

By World War I new government policies included health care provisions for all of Germany. This seemed to bring home to many people at this time. Throughout Weimer’s rule more and more power was granted to the state.

The Effects of the New Health Care Plan (Indirectly or Directly)

Forced Doctor/State Partnership: One major change among ‘private’ (for lack of a better word in this case) citizens were forced back into state mental institutions after previously being housed within the local community. This major shift in health care responsibility from private facilities to the state had also forced many doctors to partner with the state (Weimer Republic).

Genocide: Charity then became nationalized. Along with it a host of other new problems, especially after the Great Depression of 1929. In 1933 the “Law for the Prevention of Progeny of Hereditary Disease,” was then past, which then was a segue into the Nazi movement.

In an effort to provide “population control” totalitarian leaders arose and advocated “genocide” and so on around the world. After this supposed attempt to sterilize the population which supposedly had been corrupted followed the plan to implement Euthanasia.

Euthanasia on Children: One of the most striking examples of this is the fact that Ernst Wentzler was a part of an order handed down from Hitler and his Chancellor staff. He was required to end the lives of thousands of handicapped children. They were then “dissected” and used for various experiments after their violent death.

What Does this Mean for America?

It does not necessarily mean that America will turn into Nazi Germany. Nor does it mean that Obama is a “bad” president. I just personally think that it is the people’s responsibility to keep it’s government in check.

Not Against Gov Help, Just Gov Control

I have pondered quite a bit over the health care issue the past week and a half just like a majority of other Americans have done recently. In a way I say thank goodness Congress is on a break because I was having such a hard time keeping up.

I really needed time to think about how to explain my point of view regarding this very personal issue. I guess I can sum it up by saying this:

I am not against Gov help, just against Gov control.

With that in mind I just want to ask people to look further into history and remind themselves of the Nazi Germany health care system from about 1918 to 1945. I am doing more research on this but all I know is that this is probably one of the most scary periods of modern history.

It is hard for me to imagine a health care system that could end up being exactly like that. I am hoping that the current plan will NOT be like that! I reading through the Health Care Bill (HR3200) to learn more.

About the Recession: Good News (Priorities Reset)

There is one positive thing you can say about this current 20-month recession: good news, in that America began to scrimp and save as much as they can before the economy bottomed out recently.

That is some proof that we have learned from the past-hopefully. However, what about the government? Has it learned? Are they going to continue to spend money they don't have to try to help people gain items they may or may not need, or could have originally found a way to get the help themselves?

There is really a fine line here. I think whenever accept help you have to weight the consequences. What will it do to your personal freedom? What will it do to your future? What will it do to the future of your country?

Cash for Clunkers Gone Already? That was Fast!

Cash for Clunkers is expected to end already. Apparently it was intended to be a temporary program which I honestly don't remember hearing. But whatever. I don't really have much to say at the moment because I am sure I will be pushing my "free speech limit" here!

Well...say your goodbyes now and get your last minute cash while you can! This program is expected to end as of this coming Monday, August 24th.

Okay so I lied...on with the free speech...I personally think the cash for clunkers program is about as intelligent as the stimulus program passed last summer. Supposedly it is a "boost for business" but which business? The gov? The auto industry? Who?

Update:

Apparently not many people want to purchase a care from an Obama company. What that means is they do not want to purchase autos supposedly from a company that has been bailed out by the government. I suppose those people have a point, as in what does it say about that company?

I think America Should Reread George Orwell's 'Animal Farm'

I firmly believe right now that America should reread George Orwell's Animal Farm. This is a book that is concerning events of World War II when Stalin was in power. In talks about how the new supposedly more equal government changed the "constitution," which used to contain statements like...

"All men are created equal"... but then...

Slowly but surely that became "All men are created equal, but some are more equal than others..."

This is one of the reasons also why the Hitler sign was painting on David Scott's Congressional sign. It also is the reason why many town hall debates turned into warring riots-at least verbally if not worse.

As Promised, Further Comments Regarding the "Swastica" Incident

As promised, am making further comment about the Swastica story. Late yesterday I read online that outbreaks against national health care were happening all across the country. I also was informed that David Scott's Congressional suite sign was vandalized and nothing other than the famous "卐 " sign was spray-painted on it graffiti style. (See Pic at MSNBC.com)

This should not have to happen. However, the unfortunate truth is that it seems like something evil like this has to take place before America wakes up.

I also watched a news report a few days ago and a lady, 35 years old, who originally was not big into politics was caught on camera speaking her mind on national television. She was expressing how angry she was and she does not want our country to turn into Russian or an other country that currently is run by a socialist government.

I think personally it's time for people to read 1984, and I am going to comment on that somewhere on the Internet as well. It really is time for people to read that book by George Orwell, so pull it out of your attics.

OMG-that is all I have to say. Things are going from bad to worse right now. I just got a good look at the Hitler Swastika sign on Davic Scott's suite entrance sign. Wow. I will have more to add to this post in the morning. It is getting late right now though and I need a good night sleep.
