The entrance to the Somoto Canyon is about 20 minutes from town.

The tour of the Somoto Canyon takes about 3 hours. There is boating, swimming and hiking during the tour.

Entrance fee for Somoto Canyon is $10.00

You can easily take a bus or a cab to the entrance from the bus station in Somoto.
