They upgraded me to a junior suite with a great view on the Marktplatz. A very nice suite with good facilities and an amazing bathroom. I took the photo early in the morning when the week market was being build up. I was able to get a room in the Alte Post in Lehrte. There is not exactly a view from this side and the prices do not match with the offered comfort. However, it has a good parking and is situated conveniently close to the city center. I know it for years, it has been Le Meridien and it is know part of the Dutch group Van der Valk. This time is different. I will not recommend Confortel Atrium to anybody. The booking system failed and because of that they gave me a different room. I made a complaint about that and the big crack in the window (see picture). About the first issue the management explained me that I was wrong, the crack was not mentioned by them. The invoice was still in typewriter style. The area is wonderful, in the center of Ronde van Vlaanderen (cycling race) route. The view is kind of funny; conifers. From this room you see a lot of incoming flights to Lisbon International Airport and over the left building you can just see the famous 'Ponte de 25 Abril'.
