Beauty mavens, take note: your skincare routine should be shifting to transition from summer to fall, in more ways than one. With the arrival of the fall weather come a slew of complications for the skin, including changing temperatures, wind, and, of course, dry air. With skin becoming more sensitive, it is more likely to become irritated. Below, Mechele Wilson, licensed esthetician and skincare educator, provides five ways to get your skin in glowing condition for the new season.

1. Exfoliate:
Exfoliation is extremely important in this changing of seasons because it removes the dead, flaking, and dehydrated skin cells from summer. By breaking down this barrier, it allows your skin to absorb the nutrients from products you use on your face and helps your skin to stay hydrated.

Some Tips for Exfoliating:
Gently Scrub the skin, being sure to avoid OVER SCRUBBING! My favorite Scrub is the RestauraCel-C Thermal Microdermabrasion Set from Mia Mariu, a nice warming scrub does wonders for your skin!

2. Hydrate:
With the cooler weather and harsher wind, your skin is more likely to become dehydrated since there is a depletion of water in its protective layers. Let’s face it, I’ve always been overweight.

I didn’t take care of myself when I was younger, having a poor diet and scoffing at the idea of exercise.

The Simply Smooth Xtend Keratin Replenishing Shampoo is perfect for ALL HAIR TYPES!

It has a simpatico luxurious lather that releases an elegant Vanilla aroma with a hint of decadent Citrus when the hair is saturated.

This shampoo will seal off the cuticle, infusing the hair with Keratin and glinting the outside with radiant sheen.

I worked the Shampoo into my wet hair creating a foam that instantly softened and hydrated my hair. Washing your hair with a good shampoo will prep it and allow it to readily accept the moisture from the conditioner.

Even color-treated hair will receive the botanically blended benefits of this indulgent shampoo. It's sodium-free, so you can Shampoo sans souci!

I had previously colored my hair with a temporary color. Every time I rinsed, I saw brown-tinged water, from the color fading out. After shampooing, I rinsed my hair and had completely clear water! Simply Smooth was conjointly preserving my temporary color!!

After shampooing, follow up with the Xtend Keratin Replenishing Conditioner. This, too, will also prolong the life of keratin treatments and also smells as wonderful as the shampoo.

I took about a quarter size and massaged it into my scalp and my hair. I left it for a quick 30 seconds before rinsing it clean.

This conditioner felt like liquid gold, as it rejuvenated my hair and left it shinier, smoother, and healthier.

Not all keratins are created equal, and products can contain varying degrees of keratin. Using more than one quality forms of keratin allows the formula to penetrate from the inside and out of the hair cuticle, providing better smoothing performance through a natural, healthier process.

I received 4 perfumes from Pacifica. 2 Roll-Ons, one in Brazillian Mango Grapefruit and the other in Indian Coconut Nectar. The Spray Perfume scents came in Island Vanilla and Hawaiian Ruby Guava.

I love fruity, luscious scents. The 4 scents listed above couldn't smell more like me, even if I had mixed them myself.

The Island Vanilla spray smells like a cake baking in Heaven. This is a sweet, fruity perfume that will invoke your sultry, fun side.

I loved to spray this perfume in my hair before going in the sun. Every time I would move from the shade to the sun, the sun would reawaken the perfume and surround me with a deliciously, sexy aroma.

This is truly a scent that will make you feel your most flirtatiously kissable.

Hawaiian Ruby Guava smells like tropical paradise in a bottle! This is a sensuous, spicy scent that will have everyone standing a little closer.

QR codes is a trend that is quickly growing! Companies everywhere are starting to implement the QR Codes, since so many consumers now have Smart/Android Phones. QR scanning app's are readily available in your phones android or Google Play market. Any time you see a QR code, you open the app, scan the code and instantly you are taken to the Codes specific destination.

The destination could be a form, a website, a Facebook page, a Google+ Place, a Twitter Profile, A Blog, Company Application and so much more.

The destination possibilities are truly limitless. What hasn't been limitless is the QR Codes. Until recently, they came in the generic, industry standard block format.

QRt.co has revolutionized the QR Codes by introducing a Custom QR Code Generator.

You start off with a basic black and white code and all the options below.

The format is as simple as it looks. First, select where you want the QR code to take you. Website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Free Text, Phone, Email Address, Email, Contact, Event, Google Map or a YouTube Video.

Secondly, enter the Website URL. This is where you want the QR code to essentially go. There's also an option to turn it into a TinyURL.

You can choose from a variety of pre-designed templates. Some of the Pre-designed templates include a Facebook design, Pinterest Design, LinkedIn design, etc.

Selecting one of these pre-made designs will automatically configure the settings to match the appropriate template. I didn't choose any of these, instead I skipped this step and went straight to "Block Style".

There are over 20 block style from which you can choose. From Dots, to Squares, to Dashes, everyone can find something that will match their personality, or business. I chose a slanted line "block style".

Next, Choose your block coloring.

The colors available are from the standard color palette. # sign followed by 6 characters combined with numbers between 1-9 and letters A-F.

If you aren't familiar with the Color Codes, you can easily select the sliding scale on the right, then move the cross hairs to perfect it.

The customization does't stop there... We haven't even gotten to the fun part yet!

The corners of the custom QR code can be changed, all at once or each to be a different style. You can get as crazy or as simple as you want.

After you have selected the style, you can change the coloring just like before.

Then, on to the Inner Corner style and coloring just the same as before.

In the corners, you can change the inner overlay. This will put a standard image, or custom image, over the style you have selected. Try to choose an image that does not have a lot of white space, or else your QR code will not scan correctly.

Selecting a Single Block, will take one image (Standard or one of your own) and change a few of the original blocks into that shape.

Again, be careful with which image you choose, not choosing something with too much white space.

It is your responsibility to test scan ability prior to completion. If you don't test it, and your image has too much white space, it is rendered useless and they will replace your QR Code with one minus the image, instead of allowing you to change the image.

Next select your background color, or custom color. I skipped this part and left it blank. I felt it would look best on a white background.

Selecting Logo allows you to add a single large image in the very center of your custom QR code. You can select a design, or upload your own personal logo. You can also choose to remove the blocks from behind the image, leave them intact or Fill all blocks behind logo.

The last step is to add a border. For this blog post, I chose the QRt.co poster border.

Here is my finished result.

I have no complaints, except you have to scan it to check scan ability before purchasing. It would make it a little more simpler if it would automatically detect when there was too much white space.

Also, there should be a dropper tool to allow you to select another color on the image. I wanted to make something the same color as my logo, but had a hard time matching the color.

Other than that, it was an amazingly simple process. I love this custom QR generator.

You have heard me complain a lot about my naturally oily skin. Everyone says I should be blessed, because it will keep my skin looking younger as I age; however, To me it just feels like shiny MESS! Isn't shouldn't be as difficult as it sounds.

Mario Badescu has nailed it. My customized products from this prestigious skin care line consists of Enzyme Cleansing Gel, Glycolic Foaming Cleanser, Cucumber Cleansing Lotion, Ceramide Eye Gel, Oil Free Moisturizer and the Flower & Tonic Mask.

Mornings and Evenings, I washed my face with the Enzyme Cleansing Gel. After I wet my skin with warm water, I applied the Enzyme Cleansing Gel in small circular motions working my way upwards and outwards, then rinsed it clean with luke-warm water. Always be sure to pat your face dry, don't rub!

The Enzyme Cleansing Gel has Papaya Extract in it, which is a great natural source of Alpha Hydroxy Acid. Alpha Hydroxy will promote exfoliation AND brighten dull skin.

This rejuvenating, skin reviving cleanser is perfect for ALL SKIN TYPES.

After each cleansing, I followed up with the Cucumber Cleansing Lotion. I applied a few drops to a cotton pad and swiped in an outward direction. I applied a few more drops onto a clean section of the pad and continued swiping until all dirt had been removed.

This is an amazing toner. The first time I used this cooling astringent I had to swipe over my face several times. Later that night, I reused the product and had to perform the initial sweep only.

This tightens as it cleans while shrinking pores and didn't over-dry my skin. My skin felt fresh and my T-Zone was in check, even at my oiliest times!

The refreshing, skin cleansing properties in the Cucumber Cleansing Lotion is great for both Combination and Oily skin. On hot, humid weathered days, I was able to use it without applying a lotion afterwards.

Using my ring finger, I dabbed a few spots of the Ceramide Eye Gel under my eye. I worked this gel around my eye area, from the outer corner and continued up onto my eyelids. It only takes a small amount.

If you have applied too much, you can dab the rest off with a blotting tissue or use it as an emollient around the soft, delicate skin around your lips!

This is a treasured beauty secret for swollen, puffy eyes in the morning. Store it in the refrigerator and instantly relieve puffy eyes!

This illuminated my eyes and helped remove the small lines that have started to appear around my eyes. There isn't a single wrinkle anywhere near my eyes, instantly de-aging me five years!

With my skin already being prone to blackheads and breakouts, the last thing I need is a moisturizer that clogs my pores and exasperates the problem! This is the perfect moisturizer to use prior to sun exposure or after my mask.

This lightweight, Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 17 ensures I don't have to worry about sun, free radicals OR breakouts!

I applied a thin layer of this non-greasy moisturizer onto my face with my fingertips, massaging up and outwards. I also skipped my nose, forehead and chin.

It is gentle enough for Sensitive, Combination and perfect for oily skin!

Two to Three times a week, I used the Flower & Tonic Mask to clear bumpy patches.

On clean skin, I applied a thin layer of the mask all over my face, carefully avoiding the eye area. After 20 minutes or so, I rinsed it clean with warm water.

This mask is an amazingly healing mask with botanical properties that soothed and softened my skin. It absorbs skin surface oils, shrinks pores and eliminates imperfections.

Unlike Traditional masks, my skin wasn't left dry, irritated, cracked or peeling. The Kaolin formula absorbs dirt and oil while the Balsam Peru ingredients soothes redness.

Combination and Oily skin can indulge in this luxurious mask. Sensitive Skins can finally pamper their skin care-free!

2-3 times a week, I also switch up from my normal Enzyme Cleansing Gel to the Glycolic Foaming Cleanser. I used it the same as any other cleanser.

Even on dull, drab skin days this foaming cleanser, infused with beneficial herbal extracts, instantly allowed my face to look perkier and healthier.

Using this several times a week will breakdown dead cell buildup giving you an alluring glow.

The Glycolic Acid is perfect for removing oil and dirt and will even reduce minor discoloration. It left my skin feeling super silky, crisp and refined.

Royal Ginseng Formula should be taken 30 minutes prior to eating or at least 1 hour after a meal, for best results. I mentioned earlier that this can be taken alone undiluted or mixed, hot or cold. I tried an array of methods to find which method best suit me.
