Time to stock up on quality summer shades. Trade those boring solid color lenses for some multicolor fun. Sure most sunglasses have UV protection that shield your precious eyes from the damaging rays, but do they look good?

This year is all about mirrored lenses. Not only do they look good but they are actually better for your eyes than most tinted lenses. The guys in the white lab coats have determined that mirrored lenses protect by reducing the light passing thru to your eyes far better that regular tinted lens. Bloggers often fall into the trap of following instead of leading. Blogging is about expressing your point of view, a digital diary of how you perceive the world that surround me. Fashion is my love, I live and breath fashion to the point of obsession, but I never follow.

Both the Internet and social media are great for inspiration, but after a few hours on the net things star to get a bit repetitive. When the fashion becomes repetitive you know you have just enter the realm of those who are followers.

That is when it is time to go out there and grab the best tool of the trade, the CAMERA! True fashion is in the streets and the best way to capture this creativity is by snap-snap-snap. Snap with your phones, iPad, whatever…then find what inspired you and run with it. Twist it, stretch it and make it yours. I don't leave home with out a full battery on my phone and when in doubt I bring my trusty Nikon p7000 as a back up. Fashion walks by you all the time, give a compliment, snap a picture and get inspired.
