I’ve learning to cook some great steaks when my college roommate taught me how to cook a steak about 11 years ago. Well, over the years, I’ve enjoyed making some great medium-rare and juicy steaks and here’s how you can do it too. First, I prefer charcoal grills over gas grills or the oven, simply because you can get more flavor (you can even add hickory or oak flavor) plus it keeps all the smell outside where you can enjoy your yard while you cook. You don’t need a fancy $500 gas grill to cook great juicy steaks, my grill only cost me $80 and does everything I want it too. (I bought this Masterbuilt Kettle Charcoal Grill which comes with an ash collector and you can start the coals without any lighter fluid. I will have further reviews on this later.) Second, you need to clean your grill well, I highly recommend the GrillDaddy, you can check out my review of GrillDaddy. Third, you need to start fire. Get the charcoals together like a mountain and start it with some paper/cardboard pieces underneath. You can use lighter fluid but I prefer not to because that’s just more chemicals on … Continue reading →

Having a dimmable switch in your home will save you a LOT of energy in the long run and the your bulbs will last longer. Besides that, switches will pay for themselves in just matter of 6 months. Think about the last time your lights were too bright and you weren’t in the room, what if you could have “dimmed” them and saved some energy. It makes sense in this world where energy is getting more scarce to upgrade your light switches to more green and eco-friendly ones. Also, you can update your outdated old switches to modern ones, adding value to your home.
