How does a Jaycee wake up Lady Gaga after a long night of Lady Luck and Ace of Hearts?

They P-p-p-poke-her-face!!

Poker night with the Jaycees; prizes and raffles to boot! $20 buy-in with option to re-buy at half. We’ll be raffling off delicious dinner prizes and the right to brag about winning the fabulous title of Jaycees Pokerface Champ!

On a more noble note, this event will benefit the Junior Chamber International’s Nothing But Nets campaign to provide mosquito nets in malaria-prone areas.

River Rafting on the Guadalupe River with the Jaycees!

We’re floatin’ down the river, taking in some sun! Come join the Jaycees as we float the Guadalupe on a summer Saturday! We’ll be leaving Houston early in the morning (details to come) and arrive mid-day to float for several hours, followed by a lunch/dunch/dinner and a long, relaxed ride home. Carpooling is suggested, bring SUNBLOCK and beverages. Keep an eye out for more announcements!!

90th Annual Jaycee Convention – New Orleans, LA June 3-6, 2010

June 3-6, 2010, we attended the USJC 90th Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA.

We had a great time with competitions, training and award ceremonies.

Our chapter took home:

#1 in Parade of Chapters

1st for Chapter Project in Membership

Debate/Master Speak Up/ Jeopardy (as a chapter, we represented TX)

President Lenney is one of the top 5 chapter presidents in the nation

VP Tony is one of the top 7 chapter vice presidents in the nation

On behalf of the Texas Jaycees, we would like to thank you for coming. We encourage, invite you, and look forward to seeing all chapter at the next state convention. Details for this will be announced soon!

It is time for us -The Houston Asian Jaycees members to get together for our Monthly Meeting.

Our chapter just won the 1st place of the best chapter in Texas for 2009 at March Texas Jaycee convention in San Antonio. We are proud to share our victory with you as members and thank for all your support and contribution in 2009. The chapter continue to strive for our best with more successful projects and events that benefit members and community in 2010 .

Hey HAJC family, Let get together and bring more inputs, ideas, and contribution so we can build our chapter grow better and bigger this year. Feel free to bring your friends, coworkers or anyone (18-41) who are interested to make a difference in community, want to build up his or her networking and professional skills and like to get together for for social events like indoor or outdoor activities with you to the meeting.
