How to Enable or Disable Blogger Image Light Box Officially

Blogger is now a days launching so many useful features. After their recent launch of Blogger Dynamic Views, blogger introduced Image Light Box officially. Image Light box is a good feature because users wouldn't leave your blog whenever their click on an image. Normally users click on any image, view the picture and leave your blog however this feature remain the viewer on your blog when the blog reader clicks on any image.

This feature looks similar to Google Plus and Facebook's theater view features. When you click on the Small Thumbnail of the image, it will open the Bigger Version in the LightBox Over Lay. Blogger has enabled this feature on all blogs by default however if you dont like this feature or want to turn this off, you can easily do this as Blogger also provides you option to enable/disable this feature on your blog.

How Enable/Disable Blogger Image Light Box?

Go to Blogger Dashboard > Settings > Formatting
Go to middle of the page and you will see an option "Open images in Lightbox"

Simply, select No or Yes from the menu (as per your requirment)

This is really a great feature for those who have photo gallery blogs in Blogspot. This feature makes Blogger more better, user friendly and more professional.

How to Create a Fake Virus to Fool Your Friends

Virus is something we all dread of. None of us want these unwanted programs on our system to infect our files and data. The vrus attacks can be so harmful sometime that you can end up losing all your data or even worse it can also lead to a system crash. However, how many of us know that we can create our own little fake virus very easily. You just need to write some simple commands in a notepad file. When someone opens the file, the virus will prompt them that all their files is deleted and their system is destroyed but nothing happens in reality. This prank will definitely scare the hell out of your friends. So, lets start creating a our fake virus.

What to do ?

Open Notepad application (Click on Start select RUN type notepad and press enter) and then type in the following commands:

@echo off
msg * Warning!!! All your computer data will be deleted within 5 minutes. To save your files from deletion immediately press the OK button.
shutdown -r -t 10 -c "Sorry!!! Cannot abort the deletion process. The files have already been deleted..."

In the above command, 10 refer to the time in seconds after which the system will be restarted. You can set it to any desired value. You can also change the messages and set them to anything you want to display on the computer screen.

After you are done with typing the command, save this file with any desired name and the extension.bat. For example, abc.bat So, whenever someone will open the file by double clicking on it, the script written in the file will be executed automatically and the system will be restarted after the specified number of seconds.

Blogging is one of the most popular ways to earn some money these days. Blogs are a great source of knowledge. One can find thousands of blogs even on a minute topic. Blogs can be a great source of additional income. There are a number of ways to generate revenue from your blogs but the most popular amongst them is to setup a Google adsense account. Google adsense is a pay per click program where bloggers are paid when someone clicks on an advertisement displayed on their blogs. However, Google has very stringent policy that makes it very difficult to get your application approved and even if your application is approved one needs to be careful so that their account is not banned.

How to Save Your Google Adsense Account from Being Banned
1- Clicking on their ads: This is the most common mistake made by all. In order to earn quick revenue in short time, bloggers click on their own ads. However, Google has its own system to track it down and if it comes to know it definitely results in a ban.

2- Blogging in a language not supported by adsense: If you want to get approval for an adsense account, then you must blog in a language that is supported by the adsense program. However, if you have already got an approval but are now blogging in a language that is not supported by Google then it is better that you make the required changes.

3- Clogging advertisements on a single page: Adsense is based on 1-2-3 rule to limit the number of ads on a single page. If you dot follow it then you may find your account in trouble.

4- Asking the visitors to click on ads: One should never ask their visitors or encourage them to click on the ads displayed, if they liked the blog or for any other reason. It is not acceptable by Google.

Sending emails containing ads: a number of bloggers have started to send adsense ads within emails which are against the adsense program policy.

5- Using labels on advertisements: Many visitors display ads with the labels like click here or click here for some specific purpose that actually helped in generating a good number of clicks. But this in a way is encouraging the visitors, which as discussed is not acceptable.

6- Using multiple advertisement programs: If you think that Google adsense is the only advertisement program to generate income through ads then you are under a myth. There are several out there but then if you are already using Google adsense on your account do not use any other contextual advertisement program to earn extra revenue.

7- Modifying the adsense code: programmers always have a bug to customize things by modifying the code. However, Google does not permit or accept it any way.

8- Multiple adsense account: People generally apply for multiple adsense account to earn quick income. However, if Google traces down that both the accounts are operated from a single IP you may not get your payment or worse get your account banned.

9- Highlighting the ad: It can be great strategy to highlight your ad by placing it next to images but then you will definitely get your account banned. So, avoid it.

Synchronize Your Yahoo! Mail account with Microsoft Outlook

Yahoo mail and Microsoft Outlook are amongst the most powerful mail tools available. One can add more functionality to it by receiving all their Yahoo mails right on their desktop in the Outlook inbox. However, there is only one problem in connecting both Yahoo and Outlook together. One needs to have a Yahoo Mail Plus account i.e. premium account of Yahoo. One can easily convert the regular account into a premium one. Different people propose different reasons as to why premium account is mandatory for the purpose. However, we just need to do it to establish the connection. Once you convert the account connection is simple. This also gives you the advantage to save all your emails right on your desktop.

Converting Your Account to Premium:
If you do not have a Yahoo account then create one by visiting the Yahoo mail website. Once you have the account, then you need to upgrade it.
You will find an Upgrade option under the screen name. This will redirect you to upgrade page.
Select the Yahoo Mail Plus from the options and then press the Upgrade button. This will take to you a page wherein you will be required to specify all the details and pay the required amount. Now you can synchronize the Yahoo account with your Outlook one.

Synchronization of Yahoo Mail with Outlook:
Launch Microsoft Outlook on your system. Then from the Tools menu select the Accounts settings option.
The first tab says e-mail. In that you will find an option to add a new e-mail account.
In the dialog box that appears you will be asked to fill in your details that include your name, email address and password.
When you click on Next, Outlook will carry out steps you configure your e-mail address automatically.
There it will check for network connection.
Once the connection is established, it will search for the entered email address on Yahoo’s server. If it is verified then it will log on to the network.
You can also select the option to configure manually before clicking on Next in step 4. When you do so, the next screen will ask you to enter the type of e-mail service. Select the first option i.e. internet e-mail.
When you click on next, it will again ask you some details which include user, server and logon information.
The first and last are quite straight but in the server information section, in the account type choose POP3 and in the incoming and outgoing server fill in pop.mail.yahoo.com and smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
Then click on next followed by finish.
Now your accounts are connected. Synchronize them regularly to get mails regularly.
