It is the main solvent for all foods, vitamins, and minerals.

It is used in the breakdown of food into smaller particles and their eventual metabolism and assimilation. It also increases the rate of absorption into the body of essential substances in food and is also used to transport all substances inside the body. Water also gives luster and shine to the eyes and makes the skin smooth and prevents aging

Drink half of your body weight in ounces of water daily.
If you weigh 140 lbs, you need to drink 70 ounces of water daily.

Do not substitute water with caffeinated or alcoholic drinks, these are diuretics and will dehydrate you.
Every 6 ozs of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 12 ozs of water to rehydrate you.

So drink your water daily for maximum health.

Gillian Mc Donald

A christian teacher who loves to read the word, pray and write articles about christian living, natural health and self improvement

http://how2articles.blogspot.com

How to make Salara/Red coconut roll

Ingredients

1 tbsp dry yeast
¼ cup warm water
¼ cup sugar
1 cup milk
¼ cup shortening
1 tsp salt
3 cups flour
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp butter
1 egg white

Filling

1 cup shredded coconut
½ cup sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla essence
5 drops strawberry food colouring

Preparation

Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Therefore it is important to recognize that from time to time differences are going to arise and they will have to be dealt with.

According to Ephesians 5:33, Husbands are told to love their wives even as they love themselves, and wives are told to respect their husbands

Whatever the difference the key is to move forward with respect and understanding, recognizing the importance of working things out, by working together and learning from each other.and.finding proper ways to communicate feelings and needs. Most times a lot of these differences are because we have been accustomed to doing things one way. In order to manage family differences they are some basic things that needs to be addressed.

Love should be the driving force, not a feeling but a commitment in the way we act. You find motivation to love in the promise, character and gift of God, not in their attractiveness or lack thereof. It is a decision to value people because they are created in the image of God who is love. It shows spiritual maturity. 1 Peter 4:8 says, Love covers a multitude of sins

One needs to be committed to the family, it is extremely difficult to handle family differences and have cohesion when both parties are not committed. Things cannot be cannot be dealt with properly if one party does not want to get involved, or shirk their responsibility.

There needs to be a definition of what is important to those involved and what is not, its not about tradition but what will work for the situation . Not because the family you came from has done it this way does not mean that it cannot be done differently. One need to learn how to be flexible and willing to change. Do not be proud and arrogant and make the other person feel inferior but instead be understanding and find the best way to resolve the differences.

Accept the other person's feelings and try to understand why they act or feel the way they do. Do not be judgmental or critical, There must be trust and openness with each other so that one is willing to share their feelings and thoughts on the issue. One must learn to listen attentively and communicate effectively by asking questions where necessary so that there is no misunderstanding of what is being said.

Do not be selfish or rude or self centered and want to have your own way,. leave room for the other person. Affirm and support each other . Value the other person's ideas and avoid being the know it all type. This allows individuals to share their wealth of knowledge and experiences which would cause individuals to learn from and about each other

Do not ridicule, criticize, blame, find fault or resort to name calling because tempers will begin to flare and you will begin to create a hostile environment, there will be no peace. Respect each other at all times, give the other party the same respect you would give someone outside your home, they deserve it.
Whatever the family differences, problems can be worked out amicably ,so that all can live in a safe, peaceful, and loving environment.

How to deal with low self esteem

Having low self-esteem can hinder us from getting things in life. Oftentimes we allow all the negatives to overwhelm us. When fear overtake us, we see ourselves as nothing, we do not think that we have value or of any importance so it causes us to be hindered. When you are hindered by low self-esteem you complain a lot, you self criticize and criticize others. You lack the drive and motivation to go ahead. You readily display your anger and you are argumentative and intolerant. You withdraw socially because you feel isolated and unloved. You do not open up to people freely because you are so sensitive that you get hurt easily.

Low self- esteem affects all areas of your life. Everyone feels a little inferior at times but when it becomes intense and long lasting that is where the problem begins. Because these feelings build up over the years it is unrealistic to expect changes to come immediately, it will take time. You have to start with your thinking, as a man thinks in his heart so is he. Change your mind set, come to the place where you begin to know your self worth and see your life change.

How to become debt free

Becoming debt free or coming out of financial bondage takes some work but it can be done. There are several things that you can do to come out of debt.

1.Make a written plan

Having a written plan is the first step to turning things around in your life.
Have a plan of all expenditures and their importance, this is necessary because somewhere along the way we have not been distinguishing between our needs, wants and our desires. In your plan you need to make the distinction, you will be amazed to find out where you have been spending unnecessary money that has caused you to be in debt.

2.Decide what is essential for living and what is not.

One must learn conservation. You need to begin to ask yourself what things around the home you can do for yourself that you can stop calling in people to do things which you have to pay for.. They have the DIY departments (Do It Yourself), to help you to save on services. You will also need to develop some home skills so that you can eliminate some of the expenditure that are not really essential. As you begin to develop home skills you will find that some can be fun and at the same time cut some of your expenditure.

3.Think before you purchase.

When you are trying to get out of debt, you need to think before you make a purchase, if it is a necessity. Is it a need, want or a desire..
Are you purchasing because you have a credit card? Advertisements are geared to attract you so you can spend, you buy anything that gets your attention.
Are the book, CD and movie clubs necessary, can you live without them. What about the magazine subscriptions, can you cut them out of your budget? Remember you are looking for ways to eliminate some expenditure.
.
4.Discontinue buying on credit

Bring yourself to the place where you buy on a cash only basis. It is necessary because in the first place you are in debt because of the misuse of credit card. Because you have overextended on your finances it becomes necessary for you to make sacrifices so that you can come out of debt.

5 Practice saving

Learn to save on a regular basis, even if its $10 a month. I am not advocating storing up large sums of money while you owe the creditors because you will still have to pay interest on the money you owe

If you are serious about getting out of debt, one needs to take all these keys and put them into operation.

My New On Line Store

I am pleased to introduce to you my new on line store.
As an introduction to the store we are offering you a free trial to clean out your unwanted stuff for cash! Mix to dissolve and let sit for 5 minutes.

Stirring constantly, add sugar, salt, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and eggs, currants or raisins Gradually mix in flour, dough will be wet and sticky. Continue kneading until smooth, about 5 minutes. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough "rest" for 30-45 minutes.

Grease a large baking pan, take pieces of dough and shape each portion into a ball and place on baking sheet, about 1/2 inch apart. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise in a warm, draft-free place until doubled in size.

In the meantime, pre-heat oven to 400° F.

When buns have risen, take a sharp or serrated knife and carefully slash buns with a cross. Brush them with egg white and place in oven. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° F, then bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes more. Transfer to a wire rack. Whisk together glaze ingredients, and spoon over buns in a cross pattern.

Let the buns continue to cool. When completely cool, fill a cake decorating bag, fitted with a round tip, with icing. Pipe an icing cross on each bun.

Like this article?
