What is Oracle Applications?

Oracle Applications comprise the applications software or business software of Oracle Corporation. The term refers to the non-database and non-middleware parts of Oracle’s software portfolio.

Oracle sells many functional modules which use the Oracle RDBMS as a back-end, notably Oracle Financials, Oracle HRMS, Oracle Projects, Oracle CRM, Oracle Procurement, etc.

Oracle initially launched its application suite with financials software in the late 1980s. The offering as of 2009 extends to supply-chain management, management, warehouse, customer-relationship management, call-center services, product-lifecycle management, and many other areas. Both in-house expansion and the acquisition of other companies have vastly expanded Oracle's application software business.

Oracle released Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS/ e-BS) Release 12 (R12) — a bundling of several Oracle Applications - in February 2007. The release date coincided with new releases of other Oracle-owned products: JD Edwards Enterprise One, Siebel Systems and PeopleSoft. As of 2012 Oracle supports Release 11.5.10.2, Release 12.0.X, and Release 12.1.X of the Oracle E-Business Suite. The latest release of the software is called Oracle EBS R12.

Everybody wanted a high degree of control over web page layout. So CSS has emerged a better solution .
Cascading Style Sheet defines how elements are displayed and where they are positioned on the page.
How to use CSS in web page ?
It is used with HTML to enhance page formatting.
It depends upon the use of element whether you are going to use it with inline element
Or by writing the code in head section only or by through linking a special file placed in separate folder.
The ease of use of CSS allow a well define management of content .
Types of CSS
There are different thinking about of CSS but generally we have three types of Cascading Style Sheet.
a)External CSS

b)Document or internal CSS
c)Inline CSS
1. External CSS:
An external style sheet is a plain text file with a .css file name extension that contains all style sheet rule which are required to your attribute written in simply a HTML.
You can link a style sheet to a web page by passing a tag in the head section.
This link element applies the style rules in the external sheet to the page .
N.B.
Helps to apply style specification to multiple documents because style information is cached by browser.
A external CSS file requires extra download time which may delay for page rendering.
How to use Cascading Style Sheet ?
First use a link tag for linking your external style sheet.

But a external file is like this
You have to create blocks in a CSS and have to write either by using .(dot) operator or by #symbol or you can directly called a style.

For automatically calling a style just write the style for that block.

By using .operator you have to called the style block by appropriate class name.

For example for a particular division you can write like this to use above style

So for using above style you have to use a class attribute by calling the above class name in that element .
By using # operator you have to called the style block by id .
Then that id can be used in any attribute you want to use your style.

I know you all must be waiting for the E-Litmus sample papers on my Blog. I am providing all the question type that will help you to know about the paper pattern. E-Litmus paper contains 50 questions. You can consider the standard of the paper as CAT and MAT entrance exam.

E-litmus sample paper consists of the question type. You can easily practice those questions.

You need to solve the whole paper in 2 hours. There is a negative marking in E-litmus paper. You can attempt 8 questions wrong. If you attempt more than 8 wrong answer then there will be negative marking.

I suggest you to solve the quanta portion of the paper correctly without any guess. You can guess the answers of reasoning questions if not sure. Verbal and reading comprehension portion is comparatively easy. Girls can easily score in that portion. According to me the toughest question are Cryptanalytic question. You can see the sample cryptanalytic question in E-Litmus sample paper.

You need to concentrate during the E-litmus paper duration. Paper contains 3 portion Quanta, Reasoning, English. English and quanta contain 20-20 questions and 10 questions for reasoning. There will be at least one Cryptanalytic question.
