Honoring Myself. Shopping For A Lover

"Lately Blaire is boy crazy. Going out clubbing. Going to bars. Hitting on boys. All she can post about on Facebook and Twitter is men, men, men."

Yes, that's true. Lately I've been on a manhunt. Why? Cause I'm shopping for a lover. Yep, you read it right... Blaire's "shopping" for a lover.

I know, I know... I debated about sharing this with you guys - had thoughts of keeping it to myself but I've always been honest with you, I've always "kept it real" about what's going on in my love life, so why would I stop now? Should I hold back just because I'm talking about my sexuality now? Is it something I should be ashamed of? And that's right... that's what society teaches us... sex is such a taboo topic... a topic filled with judgment and shame, which is odd since sexuality is one of our needs as a human... but anyway, I can't stand in that place of shame and judgment anymore, that's no longer who I am so I'm sharing.

It's an experience that I feel excited about, empowered by, and hopeful for. I'm looking forward to a beautiful sacred experience.

So why is Blaire shopping for a lover? What's going on?

Well, I've done all the manifestation work to attract my "One." I feel him... I know he's near... I have an energetic connection to him. Our hearts are connected... I feel this and know it. So now, it's just a matter of me raising my energy, staying happy, being patient and to walk the path... for both of us (him and I)... to follow the energetic trail that leads us to one another. It's very beautiful and I am sooo excited to finally meet him!

So basically, it's a waiting game and a feeling game... and I'm doing my part with both of this things.

But in the meantime, there's another side of Blaire. The side of Blaire that's playful, flirty... and sexual. This side of Blaire has been hiding out for a long time. Over the years I've pushed her away, tucked her down, tossed her aside. I did this when I made the very serious decision that I wanted to attract the "One." This is when the serious "I want my life partner" side of Blaire stepped in and started calling the shots... and I listened.

I stopped hooking up with guys that I wouldn't consider marrying. The sexual Blaire was shut down. Sure, I had sex over the years... and good sex too... but my planning mind was always involved. If I had sex, it was always with a guy that had potential to be my life partner.

But now, having gone through deep spiritual healing and transformation over the last two years... having learned a lot about myself over this time, having embraced my sexuality and really being empowered in it... I'm interested in exploring a new type of relationship experience - one where I grow sexually.

And I know, I know... Blaire doesn't talk about her sex life on the blog. Blaire doesn't have one night stands or casual sex. Blaire doesn't promote that... well, once again, I have to say, as I evolve so does my journey and my outlook on things.

And it's true - sometimes I don't even recognize myself these days. I'm going out for drinks again... I stopped drinking over the years, but now I'm doing it again - and it ends up I really like it!

I'm going dancing again and hanging out in bars... but wait, Blaire stopped doing that, she thought it was a thing of her past, something to "grow up" from, right? Well again, looks like things have changed with this too. Ends up I still really like it, get filled with such light when I'm out and it's a great experience for me still.

Blaire's a vegetarian... she doesn't eat meat. But wait, Blaire LOVES stopping at White Castle on her "going out" nights... but, huh? Blaire doesn't eat meat (well is White Castle even meat? lol! that's another topic, I digress), but yea I do like White Castle... they're mushy and yes, partly disgusting, but also very associated with my days in the past, stopping at fast food joints after a night out clubbing and drinking... and I like it again... so I'm doing it.

To me, these days, it's all about honoring myself. Honoring my desires and (trying to) not judge them. The idea is to follow what makes me happy... what makes my heart sing, what makes me feel ALIVE.

So yea, I know, things are different. Things have changed. Things are changing... I'm getting to know myself again... I'm tempted to call this new side of me "the new me" but I actually think it's the REAL me.

Over the last 2 years I've gone from one end of the spectrum to the other... vegetarian, no makeup, no heels, no dressing up, no drinking, no sex... To balancing it out with the other end... dressing up sexy again, putting on makeup again, wearing heels again, eating White Castle (I was going to say eating meat again but still not into that - White Castle seems to be my only temptation with meat these days), drinking and clubbing again, and expressing my sexual side - and seeking a lover.

It's another side of me. One that I embrace as beautiful and for me to not share it on here with you would give the message that I'm ashamed of my sexual desires and that's not the message I would want to be sending to you and more importantly to myself.

So let's go back to talking about my shopping for a lover.

So...I'm excited about it! I feel sneaky being out on the prowl... Each time talking to a different man, being able to tap into him intuitively and see what's going on with him... deciding if he's a good match for me with this or not.

In our society we always hear about a guy with his sexual conquests, his desires for sex, his ulterior motives... but what about women - and their sexual needs? I'm still not one for one night stands. I'm not for the disconnection... the escapism that happens when two people aren't conscious in their lovemaking. Many people are in long term relationships and married and still aren't fully present with their lovers. This I'm not into either and makes me sad... but for my experience, this one with my lover, I'm planning on having a friendship with him. I'm planning on finding a man who I enjoy being around... a man who I enjoy his energy... someone I admire... find attractive, and of course someone who I'm sexually drawn to.

I'm planning on being fully present with him and with myself when we make love. I plan on watching him when he makes love to me. I plan on watching myself being made love to. I want to watch myself make love. I want to watch his reactions to what I do to him. I want to drink it all in, taste it, see it, feel it, be it... to experience it all... to fully get to know him and myself.

And sure, I'm a bit confused about the logistics of all of this...

"How do I attract my life partner while I'm in a relationship with someone else?"

"Where do I meet this type of guy to have sex with... that I can have a relationship too?"

"Won't I get attached? Or unfocused in my journey to my life partner?"

"Aren't I giving myself double the work ...attracting a lover and attracting my life partner too?"

And yea, of course I can get wrapped up in the details of these things, but I choose not to. A few weeks ago I made the commitment to practice staying in the present moment, to honor my desires, to take it one step at a time, to trust the flow... and to have fun.

And that's what I'm doing now... in my quest.. to take up a lover.

Listen to any newscast for too long and you're likely to get depressed about the economy. With gas prices in constant flux, you may ask yourself, "Is this really a necessary trip?" every time you put your key in the ignition. Perhaps you've cut down on your manicures and pedicures - or eliminated them completely from your routine. You may be unemployed - or afraid of losing your current job. You've begrudgingly cut back on letting others do the cooking and started preparing more meals at home. Well, here's some positive news: When the economy is unstable, it's actually the best time to attract "The One."

Attracting "The One" in a Down Economy

When the economy is poor, it's a great time to see if the man you're dating or in a relationship with is truly rich. Society teaches us that if we want to know if a person is rich or poor, all we need to do is take a look at their bank account balance. But numbers don't tell the whole story. A truly rich person is one who can see beauty and richness in every situation, not just when things are rosy on the outside. So in this down economy, and in your journey choosing your life partner, choose a man with an abundant mindset and it'll bring you all the riches in the world.

Is Your Man Truly Rich?

Before I share with you ways to know if your man is truly rich or poor, let me define the difference between the two mindsets.

A Prosperous State of Mind

People with a prosperous state of mind have a positive outlook on life. They are full of faith, and overflowing with trust. This isn't a mindset of "let me fake positive thinking" or look at life "through rose-colored glasses" but rather one that is grounded in belief in the bigger picture of life. Someone with a rich state of mind knows who they are, knows why they are here on Earth and what they have to offer others. No matter what is happening in the outside world, there's calmness inside of him because he knows that everything will be okay.

A Scarcity Mindset

Sadly, most people in this world walk around with a scarcity mindset. Sure they may have loads of money in their bank account, but when you speak to them and get inside their mind and have an awareness of their thoughts, you realize that they are filled with fear and anxiety. Fear that they'll never have enough money. Worry that they'll lose it all. A person with a scarcity mindset - someone who is truly poor - carries around a giant burden of financial worry. This is common with workaholics. Why do they work so much? If you dig deep and analyze the reason for their constant work, it's because they fear they won't be successful and won't have enough.

Another telltale sign of a scarcity mindset is a person who sounds like a broken record, constantly complaining about money. Things may be too expensive for them, or not worth the price or a "rip-off."

Attracting a Wonderful Partner in a Depressed Economy

When the economy is on an upswing, dates tend to be extravagant outings designed to paint a picture of prosperity. There's plenty of wining and dining when the money is flowing freely. Not so when we're watching every dollar. When the economy is rich, it's easy to cover up your worries with a sense of security. The test of whether a man is truly rich is seen when money doesn't flow as easily or frequently. So when dating, pay attention to your man's character, notice what's at the core of his personality. Be aware of how his words and actions can reflect his true character and how "rich" it is.

4 Ways to Discover the True Character of Your Man

1. Is he a fearful worrywart?

Listen closely when potential partners talk about money or the economy. Does he talk incessantly about his financial worries? Does he always lament about how things in life are "too expensive" or does he label something "a rip-off" that you might consider a worthwhile splurge? Are the phrases, "I can't afford it" or "I have no money" standards in his vocabulary?

You also want to pay attention to what's being said beneath the surface. It's not just what your man is saying, but more importantly, how he's saying it. Pay attention to the tone in his voice. Does he sound fearful, insecure and worried? Or is he upbeat, filled with confidence, trust and faith when it comes to his job and money affairs?

2. Is he depressing?

Nobody wants a partner who's down in the dumps. Sure, the economy has seen better times, but when you're choosing a life partner, you want one who's going to be able to cheer himself up and handle his emotions. This doesn't mean that he can't come to you for support - but if he's always bringing you down and leaning on you too much, he's not a good match.

3. Is his glass half-full or half-empty?

Whether someone has lots of money or none at all, it's important to have a positive mindset. Life is all about ups and downs. It's about lessons and challenges. 4. Is he a creative, "out of the box" thinker - or is he just plain boring?

Dating Again... As A Whole New Person

I haven't dated in a couple years. As I've shared in previous posts, I've been very focused on my spiritual growth during these last two years and during that time my growth was all what mattered to me.

No interest in men. No interest in having a relationship. No interest in getting to know anyone... but myself.

And that was cool for me, a healthy experience, and an incredibly pivotal time in my path, but that cycle has now come to a close. The time for me to be social is here and the desire to date again has reappeared.

A couple days ago I went on my first official date in 2 years. If I think back, I have hung out with men over the last couple years, but to me they weren't real dates... I looked at it as me hanging with a guy who was a possible new friend, so it didn't have the nerves, pressure, or possible expectation that a date may bring along with it.

So in preparing for this date - and for this new social time of my life - I've been experiencing a lot of shifts. On a daily basis I have the experience of wonder, newness, and excitement. Dating feels like something fresh... and also something a bit foreign. Why? Because I'm not following the same script of what the "old" Blaire used to do... I don't talk the same, don't think the same... and am definitely out of the routine of going on one date after the next... and getting in one relationship after the next. I'm a whole new person.

It started with me shopping for new clothes.

"Going out" clothes. Clubbing clothes. Dating clothes.

Then shopping for heels....

Underwear...

Makeup....

I find myself asking questions like... "Do I like this? Do I want to wear this? Is this who I am these days? Is this my style? ...what is my style? WHO AM I?"

But you see, that's really a joke... cause now, this time around I really, truly DO know who I am.

Before I never realized how so "not" myself I was...

But I digress...

I haven't worn jewelry in close to 3 years.

Same deal with heels.

And makeup...

I got into this natural way of living. This simple way of living... and I loved that experience, it was eye opening, grounding, and expanding... but with that said, I see how I'm naturally merging this side of myself with that old/forgotten side of myself... the "sexy vixen / dressed up Blaire"...the role that I used to "play" most of the time in the past.

So I'm going with it... trying to not judge things and just flow with the changes.

Everything is new and fresh. I look at everything with new eyes. I am conscious of everything I do now... of everything I wear now... it's interesting... very interesting.

Sometimes I'll laugh to myself as I feel like I've just landed on the planet and everything is new to me... "ohh...clothes...this is nice... ohh sexy.... yes, I like this... this feels good.... no, not this one - but that"

It's like I was just given birth too. Like I'm a newborn... sparkly and fresh.. .and curious about life.... wanting to go here and there... exploring clothes, my style, places to hang out... and flirting with men I want to date.

I'm also exploring how to share who I am now.

See, I became a vegetarian when I was with my ex. Becoming a vegetarian wasn't a simple experience of "I don't eat meat anymore" it was a total shift in many things in my life. Many things changed as a result.

So that was over 2 years ago... and since I was with my ex then I never had the experience of dating and presenting myself as a vegetarian - with all my lifestyle changes that have come along with it.

My psychic gifts have also come out more... Now, my connection with Spirit is a HUGE part of my life. I'm figuring out how to share this with a man... how to explain what I'm into... finding the line of sharing too much with not sharing enough.

There's so many more changes... so many new experiences for me.

During these years of self growth, I was going through the changes but not sharing them with anyone... now the challenge for me... the experience... the excitement is how do I share who I am with a man... and how do I do it in a way that feels comfortable to me.

My first date was nerve wracking. I was super excited to see the guy... but also much more nervous than I've ever been for a date. There was some pre-date analysis as to "how do I share who I am and what I am into without getting too deep on the guy?" for which I really have found no answer for... because that's who I am in every area of my life now.

So I went with it...

I wasn't real smooth or put together on the first half of the date. I was nervous and at times real insecure. The guy was understanding and sweet... and I really have no clue what he was thinking about me.

The date ended well. We connected and shared some kisses...

It's funny cause even as I write this I still don't know what the guy thinks about me... and I usually, always know. I'm usually confident and sure and in control... but this time I'm sooo not.

And you know what? Even though those feelings of the "unknown" are uncomfortable, I'm okay with them. In the past I would have asked him... "Do you want a relationship with me? Are you just looking for a hookup?" I would want answers and set out to get them... and hey, I may still ask him the next time I see him (if I see him again) ... and I may not.

These days, I'm less in the "gotta know where I stand" mindset and more in the "let me be in the present moment and have the experience."

I realize that this is a time of my life with fresh, new and exciting energy - and I'm honoring it.

This time around of me dating it's less about the guy... what he wants... and what he's thinking... and more about me. I'm more interested in getting to know myself. Getting to know myself in a relationship. I'm more about exploring who I am... enjoying who I am... enjoying the man and having fun. I don't know where I'm headed, I'm not sure what's in store... but this mindset feels like a healthy one and I'm proud and grateful that I've made it here in my evolution.

Yesterday I followed my intuition 100%. I lived 100% in the zone of trusting... and did what my intuition told me too. It felt a bit scary but also very freeing - and proved to be a really good decision - bringing me a wonderful surprise.

Things ended between the guy that I spoke about in my last post. I disconnected him from my Facebook account and wrote a blog post to give some closure which has helped me move on in the past. I would compartmentalize someone and the experience, see the lessons more clearly, and move on... but with this last guy - although I had done this, he still lingered in my mind.

I felt bad for him... well maybe not bad for him - I felt sad for him... and not really sure why. I feel protective of him... wanting to take care of him... something. I can't quite figure it out. I felt bad about the blog post I wrote about him. Felt like I had hurt him with the ending of us. Again, kind of weird and not sure why. We only were in contact for 2 weeks, nothing was intense between us - but yet I have a soft spot for him in my heart.

I'm not sure if this is a soft spot for him... or if this is just the way I am about all people these days.

So anyway, all weekend he was in and out of my mind. "Blaire, this is healing... this is the mourning period... you really liked things about this guy, but you've felt that before and you'll get over it... you'll be okay - move on and remember, this is a really good sign... he served his purpose, he was an omen for you... you can move on, get excited for the future"

But yesterday, things got more intense. Something wasn't feeling right. The lesson didn't feel complete. It felt like there was more to him and I... felt like what I had written wasn't 100% correct... it wasn't sitting right with me... something wasn't right... something wasn't finished... there was more to learn" Hence the inability to compartmentalize him, compartmentalize our experience, and move forward.

So I did activities yesterday, had a pretty full day - was out and about. It was nice and I tried to continue on with my life - but last night, the feelings intensified as I was journaling before I went to sleep.

I kept getting the feeling... "Call him"

"No, that's not a good idea. We're moving on... we both agreed to this... I have nothing to say to him... who knows how he'll react... and again, even if I did call him - I have nothing to say to him."

"What am I supposed to do? Call him to say nothing...? That makes no sense at all. I'll see if he emails me... I'm sure I'll hear from him during the week... I'll just wait."

Some time went by. I was ready to go to sleep... but the feeling remained.

"Call him... See what he's up to... See how he's doing..."

"Really? I don't want to. It's late, I should go to sleep. I don't want to call him... he's cocky already. I don't want him thinking that I'm hung up on him. Another girl calling him that's wanting him... I can hear him saying that he thinks I'm desperate or forcing a relationship or rushing one. I know he thinks these screwed up thoughts... he explained his theories to me about women.. and then about women over 28. The kid is screwed up, not ready.. and this is exactly the reason why we're not talking anymore... his thinking hasn't been changed yet. "

But yet the message continued... "Call him...."

"Fine."

So I prayed: "Please let us have an interaction for our highest good. If we're meant to talk, etc.. please let it be for both our highest good... G-d I have no clue how this guy will react to my phone call - I'm scared... please let him be nice."

Then I took the leap and called him... got the voicemail and hung up.

"Okay, it wasn't meant to be for us to talk... that's it.. let's move on now."

But was told... like I have been told since Day 1 with this guy... "Keep an open mind."

So I journaled more. Kept my phone on (I usually turn it off when I go to sleep - and I was ready to go to sleep now...) - and a few minutes later, he called back.

We spoke and had a really good conversation. Of course he asked why I had called.. or did he? Hmm.. actually I don't think he asked why I had called... I think I just told him that I didn't know why I called him... that I was confused about us... and that the only thing that's in my mind, that keeps coming up is that something doesn't feel right by the way things ended... and that I think I still have more to learn from him... that I'm going to explore it and be open - and then jokingly asked him: "What are you here to teach me?!"

We talked for over an hour. Very heart connected. Very intimate - and again, confirming that we have even more things in common than we had originally assumed. We took turns sharing stories of what was going on in our lives... and then, after a story of mine... I felt this deep silence on the phone. I joked around "Did I put you to sleep?" No response.... I asked it again... "Hello, you there? ... are you sleeping?" I laughed.. paused... paused even more.. then said "Holy shit, I can't believe it.. this kid's sleeping! He fell asleep while I was talking! How ridiculous... "

So a part of me... a small part of me, my ego was offended. What's with this guy? What nerve! So much for trying to win me over. What the fuck?! But then I laughed, smiled at him and went to sleep.

He's ridiculous. Truly ridiculous - and it makes me laugh.

Something that may have really offended me in the past... something that still lingers with me a bit... Fears. Fears come up with this guy. Limiting beliefs. MY limiting beliefs about what love is... about what love should be. What a relationship is... How a man should act in a relationship... How a woman should act... what will he think about me... will he judge me... accept me... love me... leave me. All these things come up with this guy and I'm grateful for them. They're coming to the surface to be healed. To be brought to the light and healed.

This morning I woke up surprised at the events that happened yesterday. Proud of myself for following my intuition. My interactions with this guy always surprise me. I did my morning ritual and went to visit my tree that's now a good friend of mine. I spoke to him about this guy. Asked for guidance. The tree told me this... something that I thought is so deep and so healing that everyone can benefit from...

"Practice being loving. It's easy to be loving when you are disconnected from a person. Practice being loving when you care about a person and are attached to the outcome."

I had to repeat it a few times to myself to fully understand it.

When dating and getting to know a person... a person that we then start to like... we get attached to the outcome. Will he like me? Will he love me? Will he care for me? Treat me right? Treasure me? Hold me in his heart? I don't want to get hurt... I don't want to put myself out there... I don't want to be loving to him, unless he's loving to me... and all these other thoughts and fears.

All these attachments. Attachments to love.

Sure, it's easy to be loving to someone on the street. To send a smile, to lend a helping hand, to be caring.. to listen to someone's problems and comfort them. It's easy to do this - it's easy to love someone when you're disconnected from them... when you're detached from the outcome... when you have nothing that you want from them.

But what about people that you care for? What about the people who are close to you - who are close to your heart? This ends up being love with attachments. Attachments to outcomes. I only want to love this person... I only want to spend time listening to them... loving them.. caring for them... being there for them... only if they give me the love that I want in return.

But does it really work this way? It this really love? Full grown up, mature, fully evolved love? I don't think so.

It takes more skill... more discipline... more love and care... more soul evolvement... to love people in your life that you would normally want something back from.

Be it a mother... or a father... a sister... a brother... a friend.. or lover. All these people you love, to get something back from them. You want them to love you. Care for you. Hold you deeply in their hearts. Not to hurt you. To treasure you. To never leave you... but love doesn't work like that. You love simply to love... with no attachments... with no guaranteed commitments... you love for the experience of love. To give... to share... to love.

This is what I'm learning and practicing now. I wish the same for you.

A Beautiful Omen from Spirit

A couple of weeks ago I had a big realization and then took a big leap of faith in my love life. (see last blog post for details) I made the commitment to walk down the path of the unknown - and within a few days of making this choice, Spirit surprised me. A new man appeared in my life.

Here I was worried that it would take some time for another man to arrive. Concerned that maybe I was asking for too much in a partner and of a relationship. Now I was 100% committed to my list - very aware to NOT compromise... and although Spirit has always brought one man after the next - magically - into my life since I discovered and started dating The Spiritual Way to Attract "the One" (what I teach to you) I still had my doubts.

I forgot how dating used to be for me since I found this way in 2004 /2005... once I started dating "The Spiritual Way" and working with Spirit to bring me love... I had 2 men back to back come into my life.. serve their purpose.. then leave, then the 3rd one was the one I was in a relationship with for over a year... Spirit guided me through each of those relationships.. brought each of those guys in my life very quickly, back to back from one another, and then the relationship came in that was pretty significant and lasted over a year. Then I was single for the last 2 years. Went through a total transformation (again) - tons of growth, healing, and self exploration with no desire to be in a relationship... and then just a couple months ago, awakened to love again - and POOF! Spirit brought the last man in.

So I had forgotten all of this guidance from Spirit when it came to love. Forgot how it felt and forgot how it happened... forgot how Spirit provides with this way of dating... and I got a little fearful with thoughts of "ohh man, now I have to go through more time of being alone, more manifestation steps, and more patience... as it may take some time to manifest...I don't want to go through all of this when all what I feel like doing is being out there and dating a beautiful man"

But that's not true for me anymore. It doesn't have to take a long time when you work with Spirit, actively set your intention and manifest... Waiting for another man to strike my fancy hasn't been my truth for a long time... that was the life I lived before www.marryblaire.com

So anyway, I did my healing and clearing techniques. I did my manifestation techniques. I put my faith in Spirit and started walking down the path of the unknown. I felt a bit uneasy, but knew it was the right move for me and I had committed to doing it so there was no turning back.

... and POOF! within a few days, a new man appeared! And not just any man... although I thought he was in the beginning - I thought he was going to be a distraction for me while I healed from the last guy. He came into my life so quick! But as I started to talk to him more and get to know him better - I started paying attention to him more - and I ended up being quite surprised and intrigued.

"Hmm... so quick?" I asked Spirit. "Wow, that's really incredible... thank you, I forgot how quickly things manifest.. thank you"

And as I got to know this man I realized he had many things on my "list" (the list I had re-written since the last guy) of what I desired. It was incredible! The more I got to know him, the more interested I was. He has a similar lifestyle to me... A similar mindset... Similar daily habits... Similar desires for the future...

Totally incredible. I have never met a man who had similar daily rituals as me... similar career dreams as me... Similar lifestyle dreams as me... All very interesting and incredible. I was thankful, very thankful - but also confused - very confused.

Now although all those things "matched" - with all that wonderfulness... with each day that passed, something just wasn't right. He felt closed off. Unavailable. Not ready. Simply, not in the same place as me as far as intimacy and relationships go. The first week... I was curious, interested, excited to speak to him, but something was sitting uneasy with me. I couldn't figure out what it was. Thought it was fear... so I observed it. Tried to stay present, tried to give it a chance... tried to analyze it so I could figure it out... tried to flow with it, learn from it, grow from it. But as more days went by the feeling just wasn't going away. We talked, got a bit closer, but still something wasn't feeling right.

He's long distance. Another long distance relationship for me? Did I really want to go down this path again? Getting close to a man by talking, rather than seeing and hanging.. did I want to do it? Nope not really, but maybe... And on top of that... did I want to do it with a man who doesn't feel 100% available and ready for this? Did I want to help him get there...? Help heal him and open his heart? No, definitely not.

I had experienced the "opening and healing of the heart" type relationship with the last guy. We both supported one another with that. There's no need for me to go down that path again - and also that path doesn't serve any purpose for me anymore... the job has been done, my heart is open. So that means this guy and I aren't aligned - as I'm ready for the next step.

So although with this recent man we connected on all these things I desire - all these things on my "list" - and although meeting a man with a whole bunch of those qualities is incredible and exciting - the spiritual/emotional depth that I had with the guy before him, which would "complete the package" just wasn't there.

He hasn't had the healing and the growth that I've had with relationships, he's not on that level with me... therefore making him "not" right.

Sure I did my usual debate about giving it some time... to have patience... and although that "old side" of me came up, the "compromising" side... Spirit kept saying to me "Blaire - this is a sign that your life partner is near, be happy about that... stay in the zone of gratitude... and this is our sign to you that you're on the right path."

At other times the voice said to me "Blaire, are you compromising again? You notice things you don't like about this guy... are you looking past them? Things you know you need and want in a relationship? ... Blaire, you know NOT to do this anymore, remember? Remember your commitment to yourself... ?!"

And that was it.

We both agreed to stop talking, that it wasn't right and that we're not going to go any further.

I got clear messages last week from Spirit to move on, but stuck around an extra week to give it a chance... out of fear, out of old programming, out of "what if" and "you're being too hasty" thoughts.

Sometimes Spirit brings us a man... for the sake of saying "Good job... you're on the right path." When these beautiful omens come around the idea is to recognize them and appreciate them for what they are rather than attaching to the person and trying to make it more than what it is meant to be.

A good lesson... and a beautiful experience. Thank you Spirit, I'm excited for my life partner - I know he's near and I thank you for confirming it.
