Hello Friends, Today I am going to share with you all my Daughters Magical Story with Colgate Magical Stories pack. Yes, again the new Colgate Magical Stories packs are available in the market. Since last 3 years, she used to play with it and create stories about it. The 1st pack was about Magical Castle, the second was Magical Sea world and now the third one is Magical Space World. She collected all the packs. She just loves to play with it. As she is very much interested in artwork she loves to do the cutting, pasting and creating stories.

Here I want to give one advice to all the moms that go and collect these Colgate Magical stories packs for your kids and let them explore their imagination. This will help them to think more deeply on any topic. Creativity will develop in your kids in a fun way.

Bellow story is again created by her. I have not suggested any point here. I just gave her the all 3 Space Magical Stories packs, scissors, paper, and pencil. First, she cut all the packs and looked into it to check what is actually there in a pack. Then cut all the character, images, and their bases. After that, she just arranges all the pictures on her study table and starts thinking on it. And here is the story what she created.

Once upon a time, there lived brother and sister in a small town.

They enjoyed themselves living alone.

One day they decided to do a space adventure, at the time when they decided to do a space adventure the rocket was going to be launch in the space.

So they started packing there all the things in their bags and went in the rocket to space.

Then after a few hours, they entered to the planet Orange, they found their many aliens on the planet Orange.

After a few years, they [brother and sister] requested aliens for taking hem to the planet in their space shuttle.

While traveling through the universe they wanted to feel the atmosphere of the universe.

So they came out of the space shuttle to feel the atmosphere o the universe and found many planets like planet Apple, planet Lime, planet Water.

When they were going to reach the planet sun they saw many heat monster and somehow they managed to reach planet Sun.

After a few hours, they suddenly saw his best friend Ajay in a space car coming towards them. So they decided to go with him and tell him to make them see the planet Sun, and then after seeing the planet Sun they went to there old planet where they used to live and started making space cars and invent new things on planet orange safely.

Carrot-Gourd Halwa Desi Fusion

This is the Desi Fusion of Carrot Halwa and Gourd Halwa with Sugar Free by my mom. This one is our favourite Family Recipe. As Carrot Halwa is my favourite and Gourd Halwa is my Daddy's favourite so my mother find a solution to make both of us happy with this Desi Fusion of Halwa's and created new Carrot-Gourd Halwa.

INGREDIENT

Carrot :- 2 Cups

Bottle Gourd :– 1 Cups

Ghee :– 2 Tablespoons

Milk :– 3 Cups

Sugar Free :– 1 Cup (depends on taste)

Cardamom Powder :– 1/4 Teaspoon

Cashews :– 1 Tablespoon (Chopped)

Almonds :- 1 Tablespoon (Chopped)

METHOD

Wash the Carrot & Gourd first.

Peel it and start grating.

After that heat the ghee in a pan on medium heat.

Add grated Carrot and Gourd.

Saute till all the moisture from carrot and Gourd is evaporated. It takes 10 - 15 minutes.

Now add milk and bring to a simmer.

Mix it well and continue cooking till all the milk is evaporated. Do stir in between and scrape the pan.

Add Sugar Free & continue cooking and stirring till all the water is gone.

Now it is almost ready so add cardamom powder and chopped cashews & almonds. Mix well.

Almost the moisture is evaporated and the Carrot-Gourd Halwa is ready serve.

Try it once, sure you will love it.

Maa Ki Mithai

This healthy recipe is been carried from my grandmother, who got it from her grandmother and so on, best for winter.

Ingredients :

250 gms Urad dal flour

2 Tbsp Ghee

1/2 cup Milk

250 gms Ghee

250 gms unsweetened mawa

1 tsp Cardamom powder

1/2 tsp Sauth (dry ginger) powder,

1/4 tsp Jaiphal powder,

100 gms cashew, pistachios & almonds roughly chopped,

2 Silver foil leaves

For sugar syrup :

1 cup water

2 1/2 cup Natura Sugar Free

Method :

In a bowl mix together Udad Daal flour, Milk and Ghee, crumble with hand, its called to give Dhaaba. Cover and Keep it for 15-20 minutes.

Now in a Heavy bottom pan heat ghee, add this mixture and roast it till golden brown, and aroma gets released. When done keep it aside, cool it but not completely cool.

Now mix sugar free and water in a pan and make syrup till it melt. Add the Mawa , Cardamom powder & dry fruits, saunth powder and Jaiphal powder in it, Now add the roasted urad dal mixture. Simmer for 5 min by stirring continuously.

When done spread this in a mold or rectangular plate. Top with Silver foil leaves and garnish with almonds & pistas. Ready to serve.

GOA is my dream destination I have never been there but its my dream to go there and live the life of GOA. The reason to love GOA are so many let me tell you few of them. Today I am going to share my kid’s magical story with you all. We give wrong excuse to our boss, We can bunk the school or college, we can cancel the meeting, we can lie to our families, even lovers can cancel their dates, etc… the list are endless. And if the pressure are more towards the other situation means to attend any function, any meeting, or any other important work that cant be cancel or avoid then we have to do the things which we don't want to do at the cost of not watching cricket (hard to do but have to do sometimes).

Here let me share my little story with you all. I am very big fan of Cricket. In 1996 World Cup - I had seen all the matches of world cup weather it was a match of India or any other country. At that time I was a kid easily manage to watch Cricket. But now I am grown up and have many responsibilities now its not easy to get time and see all the match but still I didn't want to miss any match of India. Sometimes I can manage to watch but sometimes can’t (hard luck).

Last Day Of College With Friends - The Most Memorable day

The memorable day of my life was the last day of my college. The most special day. Last day with friends and teaches. We all were in a party mood. Our juniors had organized party for us. Really thankful to all of them. They were so sweet.

That day was most memorable. We had a group of 9 friends. All wanted to do something in their life. Some of them wanted to go for higher studies, some of them wanted to join MNCs, some were planning for marriage. On the last day of college we all met at our special place college canteen. Ordered our usual snakes like wafers, cold drinks, nuts, etc.. We all were talking about the last 4 years we spent together. Remembering all of our mastis and fun. Really had a great time with them. Many times we bunked the lectures, teased our teacher, ragged our sweet juniors, scared of seniors, etc... Gone for movies, gone for picnics, read till late night at exam time. Lots of other things.

My all friends are special in some ways. Sonal she is very sweet and talkies, always worried about studies. Bhoomi - she is the leader, monitor of our class, always first in any activities, Hetal naughty as well as sincerer, Anita is quite and simple, Riya - sweet and joyful, Archana - studious and active, Bhavin - he is like a brother always helpful and Naeem – Smart and Intelligent.

At last day of college we all went to our teachers for future guidance. They were really sweet gave us very important and useful advice. We all batch-mate had bring white cloth with us all our friends and teacher wrote very beautiful messages for each other. Even today whenever I read those messages I become emotional and refreshed mix feeling.

After college party we all friends #together had gone for movie in evening show. Enjoyed there a lot. And we had then gone for dinner. I still remember How we fought for not to pay bills. Every one asked each other for party - you pay the bill and you pay the bill. Really what a day it was!

Today after 10 years we all are at different places some are at out of India, one is at Mumbai, one is at Bangalore, etc...All has started their journey of life to make their dream come true. Now it’s very difficult for all of us to meet at same time and at same place.

We are trying to arrange reunion for our batchmate at our college. Many of them are agreed to come on reunion party and many are still thinking. We all friends are definitely going for the party. I am really looking forward to party. And hope the reunion party day will also become the next most special and memorable of my life.

One step which change my life in better way.

Many times in life we have to take some hard decision for better tomorrow. It is not easy for us to choose between two best or two worst. Some situations are really difficult to face.

In my life I had also came to one situation where it was very difficult to take any decision. Which is better option for me? Should I choose this or that very confused? Family members, Friends and relatives all have their different views.

Before you get confused let me tell you what was the matter. Actually it was about my collage.

Actually I wanted to go out for studies. I am from small town. There was not any engineering college there. I want to do engineering. In 12 th std I had got good marks so. As my father had done engineering so from my childhood I also had a dream of studying engineering. But the problem is in my family girls were not going out of city for study. Girls are supposed to complete her college and then get married. Not allow to work also. But my dream was quite different I wanted to go out for my college and after I wanted to work also and became independent.

For me it was not easy to go against my family and relatives. Family members were not agreed because they were worried about me. That how I would manage all the things alone? For a girl it is dangerous to live alone in a new city. And for relatives they said that I will spoil my life if I go out of town. I may fall in love with bad boy and things will go worst and worst etc… All have their own views.

But I was firmed. I wanted to do engineering at any cost. So I took a bold step to #StartANewLife and take admission in engineering college at my own. Arrange hostel to live in new city. Initially all family members were very angry on me. But I didn't lost hope. I had concentrated on my studies. And after four years of hard work I finally became an I. T. Engineer. In those four years slowly-slowly my parent’s anger also came down. They also started appreciating me and feel proud on me.

Now I am working in one good company. Totally independent as I always wanted to be, all these things happen only because of my one bold step. If I didn't took that step. I was not here and not able to make my dream come true.

So if you are right and want your dream come true. Then don't worry and don't hesitate to take bold step. A small bold step may change your life in better way.

Hello everybody, today I am going to share a very inspiring and encouraging story with you all. As we all are human our lives are full of ups and down. Someone successes and achieved his goal and someone lost it. The cycle of good and bad period keeps running in everyone’s life. We always enjoy, celebrate our good periods, so no need to talk about it much. But what about Bad periods of life, it’s very difficult to face and handle.

Let me tell you my story – My nature was very negative. I always look to any problem of life or issues in office or questions of kids negatively. Whenever any challenge comes to me I had always give up very easily. When I was a child my mother was very upset with my nature. She had always telling me story of optimism. Here I want to share one of her story with you, may someone of you have already heard this story. It is very full of optimism and having lots of positivity in it. I always think about this story when very I feel low, hopeless, disappointed, failure etc… It really filled me with Optimism and hope for the future.

It’s a story of a King and one small spider. Once, T he King had to fight against a large army, he was defeated. He had to run for his life. He took shelter in a forest cave. He was very depressed. His courage had left him. An interesting scene captured his attention. A small spider was trying to weave a web across the cave ceiling. As the spider crawled up, a thread of the web broke and the spider fell down. But the spider did not give up. He tried to climb again and again. Finally, the spider successfully climbed up and completed the web. The King began to think, "If a small spider can face failure so bravely, why should I give up? I will try with all might till I win". This thought gave strength to the defeated king. He had learnt a lesson from the spider. And I had learnt the lesson from this story.

Sometimes in life small things teach you big lessons of life. I have two kids. My little son is only 2 years old. He is very naughty. Whenever I play with him I just forget all my worries and get refreshed and charged again to face challenges. Many of you will agree with me that “the little smile of our kids filled us with optimism and Positivity.

Positive thinking solves half of your problem. Your Positive thinking also filled someone with optimism. So be positive and optimistic #lookup.

The power of TRUTH

"Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein" a small sentence with deep and strong meaning.

We all know the power of truth but then also sometimes we falls in a situation where we speck lie in our life to hide something. And after that all of you must be agree with me that speaking lie increase your tension and trouble in many ways may you have to speak another lie and other lie to protect your first lie. There is a one Muhavara in hind that “Ek Jooth ko chupane ke liya bahot jooth bole ne padte hai” and yes this is true.

Here I am going to share with you one incidence of my life related to this. I am girl from small town. Before 15 years, for my college and graduation I came to one big city near my town. I was a much protected child studied in girls school not allows to talk with boys and be friend of boys. But in my college both girls and boys were studying. Here I got many friends. We have a big group of 7 girls and 5 boys. Many times we used to go form movie. I spoke lie to my parents when we were gone for movie first time. I told them that I am going to my friend Pooja’s home. They said ok go. I was happy that I find the solution. This thing happened 2-3 times. 2-3 times I spoke lie and gone for movie and outing with friends. Initially I was happy but there was something in my mind which was not allowing me to enjoy with my friends. Some thoughts were coming in my mind that I am wrong somewhere; am cheating my parents, etc….

Then one day I went to my parents and told to them everything in detail how many times I said lie to them and why? After long silent my mother came to me and gave me hug and said very well that you finally said truth to us. My father explains me their reasons. And then they had invited my all friends and met them and after that I feel very relaxed and always went out with friends with parent’s permission. I felt very proud like I won the race.

Today I am a mother same thing comes to me in different forms. Being parents it’s our responsibility to teach our kids to speak truth. And it’s a very difficult task. I always appreciate my daughter whenever she speaks truth after doing any mistake. I want to give this advice to all parents the plz don’t scold your child whenever he/she makes any mistake or any big big mistake just explain the right thing and push them to not hide anything from parents. Try this idea. It will defiantly work in some way.

I hope from my story and after watching below video from Kinley at least someone will inspire and learn the Power of truth and feel “Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein”.

On Vacation with Kids - FUN and EXCITEMENT

Vacations are the best part of life. We always wait for vacation. Whoever we are doesn't matter kids, parents or grandparents we just love holidays.

Last December we were gone to "GIR Forest" in Gujarat. Very Beautiful and Amazing place to visit with your kids. I have two kids. My daughter is 7 years old and son is 2 years old. We were gone there with one of our business friends. They are not having kid. So compare to them we enjoyed more our vacation trip with kids. Let me tell you how as you all know kids are always excited to know news things and a visit new place, their excitement makes us also excited. Their minds are with full of questions. They are always eager to know new things. And to answer their questions you also have to do some research before visiting any new place. So this will help you to prepare and make good plan for vacation trip.

Lets start from beginning. There first and obvious question is Where we are going? then next comes what is there? etc....

As we had gone to GIR. I told to my little daughter that we are going in a forest. She was totally excited. Kids just love animals. She just made a list of animals which we would going to see there at forest. We had gone for a Jungle Safari. There you have a choice for Jungle safari at day time or at night. As we were with kids and we can see better view in day time so we choose to go at day time. We enjoyed a lot there. My daughter was so happy after spotting Lions, Dears, Neal Cows, etc… Here are some pic of our “Gir” trip from these you can judge how much fun we had there.

We always have to keep ourselves active with kids. You just can’t sit idle. You always have less time. Packing is the best part that you and your kid both enjoyed before trip and most boring part after trip. Seriously my daughter helps me a lot in packing gives really wonderful ideas. What we should take with us and what we should not take. I just love to hear all these from her. Kids make us to feel and behave like a kid. They remand us of our childhood and leave that part of our life again with our children. I always enjoyed my each time and vacation with my kids. Kids make your trip or holiday memorable.

Before end let me tell you some useful tips which you should follow while planning vacation trip with your kids. Always stay more than 1 night, stay over Sunday, and select a hotel with pools and game rooms, and also check for TV, bath Tub and Laundry, always carry snacks and water bottles with you mineral water is good, take some medicines also.

Rise Above Your Fears

Rise above fear - this line it self motivates you to rise above your fear. Really this thing happens to me also and I am sure with many of you. Here let me share a small story with you all. It’s my own story.

Before 3 years I and my family (I, my husband, little daughter 4 years old at that time, mother-in-law and father-in-law) had gone for Char-Dham Yatra (Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamnotri). What a beautiful place, mountains, rivers, snow, trees, etc... Can’t describe in words its like a heaven. While we were returning we came to "Rishikesh". Rishikesh is very famous for its adventurous activities. At Rishikesh you can do river rafting, mountain climbing, bungi jumping, etc.... and many more. My husband Amit really likes adventure sports; he loves to do these activities. But I was very scared at that time.

Then we had decided to go for River Rafting. Amit was very excited as he always. But I was scared I have a fear of Height and Water, so initial I refused to go for it. Amit forced me to come but I said "no". In River Rafting there is a age limit for children and old people. My little daughter and father-in-law were not fall in the age category for river rafting, but both of them were very excited and really wanted to go for it. This is the first which inspire me to "rise above my fear" if a little 4 years old girl and a person above 60 years can do River rafting then I should feel shame on myself. After that I got ready for it wear my lifejacket and ready to go. Then we all moved to our 18KM ride for river rafting. The flow of river was very fast lots of ups and downs. Initially it was scary but soon I start enjoying myself. Here I rise above fear my first fear of Water.

Now come to my second fear of Height. On our 18KM ride of river rafting we had taken a small break at one spot. Here everybody getting out of boat and relaxing and having snakes, tea, cold drinks etc... At that spot there was a one point (place) above 25-30 ft above the river water. Many people go there and jumped into the river. I was just sitting there having snakes and looking towards them. Then suddenly saw Amit at that point he shouted and said "hey look at me" and jumped into the river. Then he came to me in a very filmy and funny way, he gave me a Mountain Dew and said "Dar ke aage jeet hai". He motivate me to jump from 25-30 ft height into river to overcome my fear of height, he explain me the safety precaution and what fun he was having while jumping. After that I also drank that Mountain Dew in filmy way and said yes yes yes "Darr ke aage jeet hai". Finally I tooked a risk and overcome my fear.

And finally I went to that height and jumped into the river. Really what an amazing feeling it was. Feeling like top of the world.

Really "A little effort can help anyone to rise above their fear”.

But still there are many areas in which we have to change our thinking and raise our voice to make meaning difference to the world. Main issue to solve in today's growing India is of "Cleanliness". "Sawach Bharat" is going to doing very well. Many big celebrities are taking part in that, this will inspire many more to join the mission and contribute as much as you can. We should start from our home.Keep our home, toilets and kitchen clean. Teach our child to keep habit to don't throw rubbish anywhere use only dustbin for that. Then next step is towards our neighborhood our surrounding. We should know that the workers of municipal corporation are working properly to clean our surroundings means our roads, gardens, etc... If you feel that they are not doing there job properly then you should complain and raise your voice against these problem. Then next step is towards your office or your child's school. You are responsible of your office cleanliness. Request to all of you to keep your office clean plz... About your child's school. Ask to your child about their classroom, toilets, grounds, etc is they are clean? If possible then visit to your child's school. I know many of you will plan your visit after reading my blog, yes keep it up. You know all these matters looks small but it can make big difference, if you are aware of these. Here our little contribution makes much difference. India our country is growing very fast in Information Technology we are no. 1 whole world is hiring us to do there IT work, computer work, but we are lack behind in mainly in cleanliness. Many of you are already visited many foreign countries and many of you are going to visit, all of you must be agree with me that we are really very behind in cleanliness. Foreign countries are look very clean, there local people are very active and aware to make it clean. We should really get inspired by them and give our little contribute to make our country clean. So all of you plz know the power of your voice and do whatever you can do to clean India. Clean India means Healthy India.

As these are the reason for feeble health and a rise in ailments. And you know my dear women; Women are most impacted by the lack of sanitation facilities in our country. So all the ladies plz take this matter in your consideration and raise your voice for all our sisters in villages. As this problem is major in villages but big cities are also having this problem in some areas.

I am from a small town in India. Here also I see many problems like this. Our maid “Kamvali bai” she is also facing such problem. As she has to defecating in the open. She always told me to do some thing for this as I am an educated person. Her kids are also getting ill very frequently. So as a responsible Indian I think I should do something. That’s why I am writing this blog to make awareness and let most of the people know about this problem and do some thing for this. And build hygiene and clean surrounding. A Healthy Child makes a Happy home it’s a true fact.

Today’s life is so fast and full of activities and competitions. Children are very busy in there day to day activities like school, classes, sports, computers, etc… Physical and mental fitness is very important in each and every field. Most of the parents are working have less time to take care of their children. So it’s a challenge for all the parents to make their kids healthy and stay them healthy.

Here I want to share my experience with you all. I am a working woman, mother of two lovely kids. My daughter is 8 years old and son is 2 years old.
