Submitting your Blog's sitemap to these search engines will enable them to index the pages and contents of the site. Needless to say, having all the pages indexed will essentially avail your contents to more internet users and improve your site's page rank.

Blogger Sitemap

If you own an external domain site, you can search the net for sitemap generators which help you create a sitemap file. Upload the file onto the root directory and call it sitemap.xml. The full URL of the sitemap will then be something like this:- “http://domainname.com/sitemap.xml”

However, we cannot upload files onto the root directory of Blogger blogs. Hence, when asked to insert a Blogger blog sitemap, it will have to be either:-

http://YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot.com/rss.xml

http://YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot.com/atom.xml

Replace YOURBLOGNAME with the name of your blog. For Blogger blogs, do not add "www." to YOURBLOGNAME. As an example, our blog's sitemap will be http://bloggertipandtrick.blogspot.com/rss.xml

Submit Blog Sitemap to MSN

Unlike Google and Yahoo!, MSN does not have a set of procedures or an address where you can submit sitemaps to. In the latest post in their Microsoft Live Search Weblog, they had invited webmasters and developers to help build a New Webmaster Portal that would include sitemap creation, submission and ping tools, very much what Google and Yahoo! already had. Once MSN has that user interface, we shall update this article.

The MSN team had suggested that webmasters add this to their robots.txt file to have the MSN spiders crawl the sitemap file:-

Again, we do not have root access to the Blogger server and this will not avail to us.

The alternative solution in the meantime is to submit the Blog sitemap toMoreover.com. It seemed that there was a standing arrangement for Moreover to provide the submitted feeds to MSN for crawling and indexing.

Whether or not the arrangement still holds true, there is really no harm in submitting your sitemap to Moreover.

Copy and paste this line into your internet browser, replacing the portion in red with the name of your Blog:-

1.First,go to google webmaster tools and sign in with your gmail account.

2.After you logged in, you will see this asking you to add a site.

Add your blog url(ex:bloggertipandtrick.blogspot.com).Don't add with http or www.

3.Next,it asks you to verify your site.It is just to confirm whether you are the owner or not.

CLICK on the 'verify your site' link.

Next,

4.There are two ways to verify your ownership but, there is only one way for the blogger users to add a metatag.

5.Copy the metatag.

Now,sign into your blogger account>click the layout button>Edit html and paste the metatag just after the head tag and save the changes.

Now click the verify button in the google webmaster tools and there will be a confirmation message saying that you have sucessfully verified.

Now,you have to submit a sitemap for google to crawl your site.Go back to the google webmaster dashboard or (home) and click the 'Add' link which is next to your blog name and in the Sitemaps column.

Choose 'Add general web sitemap' from the dropdown menu and type rss.xml or atom.xml next to your blog address.

6.That's it.Now your sitemap is successfully submitted to google.Check 2 or 3 days after and you will see the detailed statistics of your blog(indexed pages,any errors,etc.)

One of the most important ways to attract traffic to your site is to ensure that your Blogger (Blogspot) blog is properly indexed by popular search engines such as Yahoo. If you want to increase your chances of having your site quickly indexed by the Yahoo search engine it pays to submit your site and your feed. In this tutorial we will be covering the process of signing up with Yahoo, authenticating your site and adding your site feed to Yahoo Site Explorer.

Yahoo can be notoriously slow at indexing and will not necessarily include all crawled pages in its search results. For guaranteed inclusion you can opt for a paid service but if you follow the steps below you have a good chance of having your Blogger blog properly indexed relatively quickly and without any cost.

1. Sign up for a free Yahoo Account if you don't already have one.

2. Sign in to Yahoo Site Explorer where you will be taken to theMySites page.

3. Submit your Blogger website by entering the URL of your blog and then clicking on the Add My Site button.

4. You will now see your website address included in the site list. The 3 columns to the right contain information about feeds, actions, and status. You will notice that the status of your site will be set to new (represented by a yellow circle). Click on the link to your site or click the Explore button.

5. You will be taken to the results page and should get a message like the one pictured below.

6. From the menu on the left click on the Authentication

7. You will be presented with 2 authentication options. Choose Add a META Tag from the dropdown menu then copy the code provided using Ctrl + C.

8. In a new window of your browser login to your Blogger blog. Keep the window of Site Explorer open as we will be returning.

9. Navigate to Layout > Edit HTML in your Blogger (Blogspot) blog

10. When you arrive at the Template page it is a good idea to make abackup of your site's template as a precaution. Go ahead and download it your computer by clicking on the Download Templatelink. Remember if you inadvertently overwrite some code you may not be able to restore your template so it is worth taking an extra few moments to do this step.

11. Once you have backed up your site locate the Head tag. It will be only a few lines of code down from the top. Now insert the copied code from Yahoo in the position suggested as shown in the picture below using the Ctrl + V command.

12. Once you have pasted the code into the template there is still one further action needed. You will need to add a trailing slash at the end of the new line of code to avoid getting a parse error. Once you have added the trailing slash and are certain you have placed the code in the correct position go ahead and click on the Save Template button.

13. Return to Yahoo Site Explorer and follow the mysite link. You will see that the status of your site has been verified and is represented by a green checkmark.

14. From the lefthand menu select Feeds. You will be taken to the feeds page where you can go ahead and add a feed for your blog by entering the URL of the feed. Notice in the example below I have set an extra parameter to handle redirection of the feed by services such as Feedburner.

15. Once the feed has been accepted it takes around 24 hours before it is active. After this time and provided there are no errors Yahoo displays "processed" followed by a green tick as can be seen in the picture below.

You have now completed the steps involved in having your Blogger (Blogspot) blog crawled and indexed by Yahoo. All that is left to do is to check back periodically to see if Yahoo has indexed your pages. This process can take time so don't expect overnight results. However once Yahoo recognises your feed your pages will be regularly crawled and any updates in content indexed. The process of adding a feed and verifying your site will have gone a long way towards ensuring your site is included in Yahoo search engine results.

People that are poor often spend the majority their time and energy on not wasting money. Whereas rich people focus on multiplying their money. See, saving money is quite an old idea which might have worked 30 years ago, but does not anymore. If you freeze your cash in your wallet or bank, its value decreases very fast because of the inflation. So, it’s crucial that you keep your money working for you, and it’s even more important to play it smart. If you do not have a clue about investment, hire a financial adviser. At the early stage of your Adsense career it is important to invest money in the internet marketing. Buy links and advertisement space which will burst the traffic to your website, and hence, earnings.

Many people who have just started their business online are often very naive to think that they can make a lot of money without having to spend any money. That is not possible, unless you are a self-employed worker who’s ready to work for free, hoping to start earning 30 bucks a day at some point in the future. Can you imagine how much time you need to spend to learn and implement all those skills that are required to earn 30 bucks a day? If you calculate how much money you’ve made and hours spent on building your online “business” over one year, you will be surprised to find out that you have been working hard making like 1 buck per hour. Crazy?

So you want to get wealthy soon, and are not willing to spend a couple of $$$ to get yourself a team? This is not serious. If your goal is to get rich, you need to be spending some money on a regular basis. You must pay for internet marketing, high quality content, search engine optimization services, etc. If you play it smart, it will make you wealthy. If not, learn your lesson and move on.

What if I don’t have money?

Is that what you think? That is the way poor people think, meaning that you cannot do that if you want things to change. Even if you don’t have much money, you still can do a lot of things to put those ideas into life. How? Here’s just a bunch of thoughts to inspire you:

Write a business plan. It doesn’t have to be detailed. In fact, anybody can do it. If you do not have a clue how to do it, hire someone, or learn it yourself – this skill will bring you a lot of money in the future, so it’s totally worth the time.
Submit the business plan to potential investors. If your plan is good, you will find people who will want to invest money in your project sooner or later. If it does not happen, it is a sign that your idea is bad, and that’s the way you know you need to come up with another one. If the idea you came up with is good and the business plan is promising, it’s fairly easy to attract an investor. The challenging part is negotiating the contract, not finding investor.
Get a loan – if you do not get enough money from your investors, you could still apply for a business loan at your bank. If your business plan makes sense, your chances of getting a loan are high.

Offer your team some part of your earnings. This way you can create a dedicated team of people who are personally interested in the success of your project. Those employers are great to have, since they realize that it is up to them whether you succeed as a team, or not. A team like that is much more reliable than a group that gets paid per hours.

Try to generate more ideas! Trust me, you can generate much more ideas that will make you rich.

How to Improve Your Google Page rank without any Effort

It’s more than 5 months since Google has not updated its page rank. So people are long waiting for this time PR update and if you ask me, when this PR Update will undergo? I would say, it’s going to be very soon, you may see a PR update in full flow towards the end of June month or in the first week of July. So it’s time to take actions to improve or for maintaining your

current page rank. In today’s post, I will name some quick ways that will not take much effort from your end, but will surely be a big help towards achieving higher Google Page rank in Google. So here I go:

1. Stop forwarding PR Juice to unwanted Pages

First step you can take in this direction is removing the flow of PR to non-business pages like About US; Contact Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, Sitemap etc, and us. So the best approach will be making links for all these less important pages as nofollow.

2. Showing lower number of posts on home page

I have seen big jump of PR in my own blogs using this one technique only where I changed the showing of number of posts on home page from 10 to 1 or 2 only. If you can manage, I would suggest showing very few posts on home page when PR update is around the corner. And you can always switch to any number of posts back once you have new PR on your blog in place.

3. Checking blogroll Links

Next thing you can do is going through all links placed in your blogroll. Make sure all links added in your blogroll are working. And if any of them is not working, please remove that. And if you had previously done blogroll exchange with other bloggers in your niche, please cross check they are still linking back to you. If you see any or some of your blogroll partner does not contain links to your blog, you should talk to them in this regard. In this scenario, they will either add link for your blog in their blogrolls or you will have the option of removing their links from your blogroll.

4. Only one version of home and internal page should exist

Make sure you have only one version of home page and internal pages running. You should be using either non-www or www version for all of your blog pages. Suppose you decide to use www version for your blog, in that case all requests going to non-www version will be redirected to the www version. Your PR will be divided if you have multiple versions occurring for home page and internal pages.

5. Lower down other links from home page

When PR update is around the corner, I would recommend removing some less important link widgets like Monthly Archive, Tag Cloud, Latest Comments Widget etc from home page by the time your blog does not get a new Page rank.
