Paypal claim that they only hold their limited account user monies for 6 months to make sure that all payments are cleared from fraudulant activities.
And to solve this matter yet, you have to supply them "FULL Disclosure Requirement" just like when you want to re-instate your ebay account. However, sadly this usually this does not help in realeasing your money sooner than 6months.

To make sure you got all your money out before they limit your account:
You have to create 2 bank account: one for paypal/ebay and the other is for personal use.
Always transfer your remaining paypal balance, never let more than a few dollar to accumulate, then to your personal account. (do it as soon as possible... do not wait until paypal freeze your account... you will then have no ability to access your paypal and bank account connected to it.

Money that has been transfer to your personal account can not be touch by paypal.

KEEP IN MIND, Paypal will limit your account and all account associated with yours, if you transfer a large amount of money between paypal accounts.

Ebay used to track window serial numbers, network drive, and hard drive. However, these information is no longer reliable because they are easy to work it around with today's tech.

Therefore installing new windows and reformating your hard drive are not necessary .

Reformating your computer will definetely eliminate the evidence within your computer.

Do not use old timbercreek or andale or any other auction manager.

Most of the time when you use your old auction manager they will try to login to your previous registered ebay account which will give ebay a flag on your account. (it usually takes about minutes to find out and suddenly you lose your new account again)

Do not risking it by signing on through your old auction manager... and make sure that you delete your previous turbo lister on your computer and redownload a new one.

If possible, re-format your computer to make sure everything is cleared out. It is best if you use external hard drive to save all your projects and stuff.

But submitting these informations does not always give you the answer that you want to hear. They still can deny your reinstatement for no reason at all.

a copy of birth certificate
a copy of your social security card
a copy of your credit card
a copy of your recent bank statement
a copy of your past auction invoice with tracking number (to proof that you send the item)
a copy of invoice from your supplier (to proof that you have the item)
your signature to their terms and conditions

They will make you feel like a criminal.
This is the way the collect your complete information which can make you harder to get back on later on.

But the questions is.. is this worth risking? don't you think it will make them easier to catch you when you try to get back on?

Not a day goes past when I here of some seller frustrated that eBay have pulled their auction listing. It is very easy to violate an eBay listing guideline without knowing, the first you’ll learn about it is when you receive an email from eBay.

If it’s a serious violation or a number of smaller repeated violated eBay can & will close down or suspend your account. Don’t be fooled into thinking they need your revenue as a seller, I know of one eBay power seller who paid close to £25,000 per year to eBay in sellers fees & had his account closed overnight.

Firstly and most importantly familiarize yourself with all the selling guidelines on eBay. By doing things right first time, you’ll be less likely to have your auctions cancelled by eBay’s safe harbour team.

But let’s image the worse case scenario, you’re an eBay trading assistant or a professional seller dependant on eBay and overnight eBay close your account, pulling all your listings in the process. Overnight your business will disappear.

Don’t fool yourself that by sticking strictly to eBay guidelines you’ll avoid the hassle. You’ll have many competitors on eBay who will try and report you at some point, even if their accusation is false your listing may be pulled by an overzealous eBay employee.

Leaving eBay listing violations alone there are still potential hazards that may jeopardize your account or account status. Negative feedback, your account being hi-jacked, even forgetting your account password could cause massive delays to your business. If you get too much negative feedback, you may want to abandon the account altogether and start afresh.

eBay does allow you to have more than one registered account as long as it using another email address, so it is essential to have at least one backup account for emergency use. Now I’m sure that 99% of eBay sellers, especially serious sellers (like yourself) reading this would not violate rules to a degree where your account was suspended. And I’m not recommending you to continue selling on eBay even though your were suspended.

BUT, what I will say is in the unlikely event this did happen what would you do?

You have an obligation to your clients, yourself and your business to get things back on track as soon as possible. Having an eBay account registered in the name of a distantly located friend which you can use discreetly may allow you to keep your business long enough to sort out your original problem with eBay.

Some situations can be sorted out within hours, while others carry an automatic suspension for 30 days. Now, no business can afford to stop trading for 30 days & expect to carry on when the suspension is lifted as if nothing has happened. You’ll lose credibility, you’ll lose money and most importantly you will have lost a lot of clients.

To check your IP address go to: \"WHAT IS MY IP ADDRESS\"http://www.whatismyipaddress.com You would be better off using a different dial up connection then the one used to suspend your account (I DO NOT THINK DIAL UP IS THE BEST OPTION SINCE A LOT OF THEIR IP's HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM EBAY)
you CAN'T use ANY of the same info from a suspended account. I suggest you get a P.O box or use a friends address. Address is only important to the credit card info. (I AGREE WITH THIS POINT)
Email address, bank info {can be faked, I do not think ebay verifies the bank account} in the same manner as paypal by sending small deposits. Use a different dial up connection when registering or go to the library to use thir computer. You can get a netzero, juno dial up account free for 30 days 10 hours per month. Just try a differnt ip when registering. JUST TRIED WHAT ON MY SUGGESTION STEP AND IT WILL DO IT. For shipping/check out info you can put anything even a po box. Just do not disclose your real name anywhere on that site to where they can link you. Put like a business name without the company or inc symbol for shipping/check out. Register as a buyer first!!!!!!! You can\'t leave any feedback for 5 days, although others can leave feedback on you. Make sure to register for a different paypal account. NEVER NEVER link your paypal acount to your ebay account! Once either account goes down there goes the other! I would recommend not making your paypal account verified, as this will make it harder for Paypal to link the accounts. Once back on ebay thru registrting different info build your feedback up with the ebooks/gmail invites. Almost 75% of the auctions are feedback trading wink wink! They will explain this when they say at bottom of the auction, give me positive I shall give you positive. Once feedback reaches 10 you can list one day auctions. Whatever you do do not list big expensive or alot items after joining after feedback reaches 10. (TRUE, YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT.. START SLOW JUST LIKE YOU ARE NEW TO EBAY)
The easiet way to get suspended from ebay is by stealth buyers whom email a complaint to ebay concerning not receiving items. Ebay or the buyer never informs you of this until your account is suspended and you receive all these complaints listed for the first time. This is another reason why you never link your paypal account to ebay.
Only accept Money orders & cashier\'s checks, no Bidpay or credit cards. I know this may suck, but if a buyer files a complaint they must prove they sent payment. If a buyer can\'t verify payment was sent, ebay MUST REMOVE THE STRIKE on your account. Also, Ebay tracks complaints via negative feedback, that is why you should always use \'Mutual feedback withdrawl\' only after you and the buyer agreed upon this. Remember, buyers can file a complaint in the dispute console where the seller can see it or in email. If they file a complaint in email, you will not see it until the negative feedbacks build up & your are suspended. Keep a record of all your transactions including shipping of items with tracking of signature confirmation. I know this sucks, but this will prove the buyer received it. (YES ALWAYS PROVIDE EBAY AND PAYPAL WITH TRACKING NUMBER ONCE ITEM IS SHIPPED) Only ship to the address in the buyer\'s ebay profile, no ands, if or buts, only exception is if it is in the same zipcode. If the buyer insists on a different address, send it restricted delivery, buyer must provide id and sign for the item. This will protect you from complaints. (ALWAYS SHIP TO CONFIRM ADDRESS ON PAYPAL.. NOT EBAY SINCE EBAY ADDRESS SOMETIME IS NOT CORRECT)
Lastly, go to evoice.com {free voicemail 30 days} or Ureach.com {free voicemail 7 days} use them as the numbers in your ebay profile. All ebay needs is an answering machine, you can also record a voice, but never never put the same info as a suspened aco****.

You can use Outlook express, just change the set as follow:

on Outlook Express - Click tools / options
select Read tab , then check on "Read all messages in plain text"
to send email in plain text just simply click on the sent tab and choose Plain text on "Mail sending format"

If your DSL provider is SBCglobal this is the step that you need to take: (it only takes max 5 min)

check your IP address on ip-adress.com (and write it on a paper)
unplug your DSL connection
reset your modem and router
plug in the DSL
go to start, click on run, then type in cmd (enter)
on window promp ---> type in ipconfig
check out your computer IP address and default IP
type in the IP on Internet explorer address bar
then login to your DSL account
now you got a new IP (check it on ip-adress.com)

Do you know that Ebay just change their system. They do not using human police anymore, everything now been computerized. They suspend your account based on the point. They gave you a bug everytime you enter your ebay account, everytime you open your email. They are watching you every step by step. They know your surfing habit, they know if you are a real or fake buyer or seller, they know if you are connected with any suspended account or not.

You must be very curious on how they do this right?
Their bug is about 1x1 pixel .. when you highlight your email from ebay you'll see there is a very small image at the buttom of their email..
It only give you 2 sec to invade your computer once it's opened and you'll have no time to erase it.

The question is how do I avoid this problem? DO NOT use HTML based email, look for email that only accept TEXT file. (or everything is converted to text file, do not confuse this with disable HTML file on your email account. Disable means you only see the text but not the pictures but it does not mean the bug is not being transfer to your computer)

Consider creating another ebay account soon before your account got suspended.... use the rules on "back to sell on Ebay after your account suspended"

There is way to get your account unsuspendable... but I will discuss it later as I am in the process of learning the method myself. Before you can do this you have to know how their computer system works.

However, in the mean time I suggest you to have as many account as you can build with at least 10 feedback so you can start BIN right away. (do not applied using your own method but tried what suggested in "back to sell on Ebay after your account suspended")

This is the way ebay power seller do too... it is way to make their income secure.... you do not want things to go wrong after you decided to quit your job and have the same situation as mine.
Once your Ebay account is suspended, stop thinking about it since it will close your mind to do other things. If you follow the instructions, you will be able to sell again and you can stop worrying that they will find out and close your account again.

Just like you my ebay account was suspended. At that time I was very frustated. My husband quit his job to help me with my ebay business but in just 1 month it got suspended. I tried to use my sibling information. It works for couple months until my paypal account got limited. Once you are suspended, they'll recognized you again if you sign up to create another account from the same IP address, same browser and credit card. Therefore, do not try to sign up under different name if you do not know what the proper step are. (You'll get frustated since Ebay will suspend your new account again) - once you got suspended you loose all your identity, your address, your phone number, email account, credit card, website, IP address, basically everything.

How do you get an anonymous credit card?

Buy a mastercard gift card for yourself... registered recipient under different name and address (you can use your friends address or neighbor) but ask them to ship it to your purchaser address. (make sure you remember the address and phone number for your reference later on). Once you received the card use it to register on Ebay and paypal. First you will get a paypal limitation but don't worry.... get the confirmation number that paypal send to your CC (you can view your statement online or call the company... and you have to provide them with the recepient address and phone number).
You can also use virtual credit card number this company will validate with any address. (this way is alot cheaper than the first one... since most bank charge about $6 - $10 per card.. and you have to have a minimum of $20)

This is the critical parts, make sure you change your IP address.
You can do this by yourself or buy a program

If you use dial up, this is not a problem anymore since your IP address is changed everytime you log in to internet.
If you use DSL : unplug your modem for couple second (30s) and plug it back .
If you use cable modem: go to start, then click on run type in cmd, then type ipconfig (enter.. this will your current IP), then type ipconfig/release. Turn off your modem overnight. Go to start menu again and click run. and do the same thing (and you will get a new IP.. check to make sure it is different)
Other easy ways is to use anonymous IP, ghostsurf.
