Well today I made the gym, after a strenuous week at work travelling long distances I needed it. Boxercise and Body Combat with the team. Tomorrow we have a run planned with the team at Sherwood Pines, this will be a pre run with the team who will be taking on the challenge on the 3rd of March. Today was the launch of the new BTS programme 3 hours of group exercise classes.&lt;br /&gt;

There must have been over 300 people taking part and the atmosphere was electric. This week I have signed up for 3 events so now is the time to up my fitness levels. Coming soon I will be entering my diary of workouts so all comments would be grateful. &lt;br /&gt;

Typical I have a cold, therefore this week training has had to be downgraded to a few sessions. This morning I am going to go to body combat, &lt;span style=&quot;color: red;&quot;&gt;BUT THAT IS IT&lt;/span&gt;. I might even go on a nice dog walk you never know. However if I feel better tomorrow I will be off and running again as I build up to the first of my 2012 challenges. This is it all the holidays out of the way and here I go. Tonight I have booked into 2 hours of&amp;nbsp;group exercises including Body Combat and Body Attack. Both classes will be full and both classes are designed for aerobic style work outs that get the heart racing.&lt;br /&gt;

Over the next week I am going to re-introduce running into my training plan, aiming to be comfortable at 10k within the month. Well tonight is it my last chance to get some fitness before Christmas festivities begin. Circuits here I come 1 hour of hard slog and then off to the pub. Its fair to say that this week I have only been to the gym twice and completed body attack, a high level aerobic workout that certainly gets the lungs jumping. Well here we go again today I was subjected to 2 sessions of BOOT CAMP and it was hard, for the first time I have realised that chaining my regime is so important as you experience different highs and your muscles certainly feel the shock. Who ever invented squat thrusts should be locked up, what is the point of them other than to make you feel sick. Also we had to endure a session of VIPER what a great simple invention and wow how they make you work all your body.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once I had endured this workout I attended a Body Combat Class, this was great fun however I was flagging due to my other sessions. Last week I ran a 10k Christmas Pudding race and got my personal best of 56 minutes, so I have to say that all the slog I put in paid off and the sense of achievement was out of this world.&lt;br /&gt;

It was at this point I was introduced to group exercise to be precise aerobics.
