Some people obsess too much and even jump of the cliff in terms of taking pills and medications that

are not totally safe for everyone. Of course, I wouldn’t urge or even indirectly encourage my readers to take chemical based remedies. You never know what is in them. Most of the “medications” companies don’t even tell you the real side effects of a certain tonic. That is why unless

they are accredited by your country’s department of health, you should not take the risk and increase the chances of being

worse off than before. Remember, what works for someone might not bring the

same effects to another.

This also does not apply only to skin care issues.

Taking birth control pills can also take a toll on your skin. As not everyone has the same skin type or skin condition, the effects, or the little side effects are very

different for each and every person. You would not know whether you are allergic to a certain drug until you have experienced the effects.

To be on the safe side, always try, if available, to have your blood tested for any allergies regarding certain drugs. It is better to pay a bit more for testing than risk any bad side effects that might come your way.

There are some of the bad effects of taking non - prescripted or unaccredited “health medications” that take effect in the long term scheme of things. It is sad because these drugs should be the ones that will give us the solution to our problems. If you are unlucky and careless, you might get more that what you bargained for.

Take a look at this pdf article to see how some chemical based drugs have extremely bad effects on a person’s health. Read Death By Medicine

These drugs are unnatural, as stated in Alternative Health advice.com. What happens is whenever we take in the chemicals, there are some that the body cannot use effectively. This causes the side effects that we have heard so much about. There are only two things that can happen with these unused chemicals. Either they are taken out by force, through the excretory system, or they are absorbed by the body, by force.

In relation to getting glowing skin, we should not force our bodies to accept and absorb these unhealthy poisons. Our bodies deserve more than that and we should not subject them to torture. We should use natural resources and means to achieve the skin quality that we are craving for.Get a good night's sleep, stay away from chemical based make ups, stay away from dirt and oil, clean your face always, etc.

There is really no need to sacrifice your health for unnatural “beauty”, if you can call it that. There is nothing better looking than a natural glowing skinned person who radiates wherever he or she goes. Maybe you should stop using poison to remedy your problems and start going natural.

I promise you, you won’t regret it.

Skin Guru

Tags: natural, health, skin care, health medications, drugs, how, how to get glowing skin,

People usually compromise their sleep because of work, school, hobbies, and/ or sleeping disorders such as insomnia. What people do not understand is how important getting a goodnight’s rest is for the mind, body, and for the following day to come. One thing that is a misconception when it comes to sleep deprivation is that it does not have any effects on your skin.

Now, I am going to tell you, it DOES.

Getting glowing skin will be harder to get if you constantly skip your sleep. That is why it is important to keep a regular sleeping schedule.

Sleep deprivation is caused by many factors. One of the main factors that can cause sleep deprivation is stress. Stress from work, from school, from everyday life adds up at the end of the day and this prevents you from sleeping. These stress factors and sleep deprivation increases the rate at which your body, or your skin, in relation to this article, ages.

Sleeping is the time when the body is given a chance to slow down and prioritize on rejuvenating yourself. This is the time when your body can start healing. Less sleep means less healing, which will only be carried over to the next day. Hit something repeatedly without letting it heal and what do you get? I’ll leave you to answer that for yourselves.

In line with that number two, sleeping, in a way, ‘refills’ the vitamins in your skin with additional potency. Every day, whenever the sun touches our skins, the potency of the vitamins are lessened. Thus, they become less efficient. These vitamins act as weapons against aging. The more you have and the more you repair the damaged parts, the more you will understand how sleep can help you get glowing skin.

Whenever you sleep, your skin also replaced dead skin cells. The more you sleep, the more you will have newer and younger skin cells.

Here are a few tips on how to sleep your way to getting a more glowing skin.

Keep a healthy sleeping schedule. Healthy sleeping habits will help you become more disciplined as you try to sleep your way to greater glowing skin.

Make your bedroom sleep friendly. It would be hard to sleep in a noisy or dirty place. Personal hygiene and discipline can help foster better sleeping habits and reduce the chances of disrupting your sleep.

Eat a couple of hours before sleeping.

Do not take any stimulants an hour before sleeping. These stimulants include cigarette smoking, alcohol, coffee or anything with caffeine. These will increase the chances of disrupting your beauty sleep and thus interrupt your body’s natural healing process.

If possible, do not put a television inside your room as this will only be a temptation. Also leave your work and school stuff outside the room so that your bedroom will be solely a place of relaxation and sleep.

Follow these things and you will be on your way on getting glowing skin.

Skin Guru

Tags: sleep, rejuvination, glowing skin, skin, skin care, sleeping, anti aging

Of course, we reacted with disgust and panic because there, on our face and other body parts, pimples have started growing. When you look at less fortunate people, the pimples might have ‘nested’ and have come into existence in the groups.

Before I continue, let us define what acne and pimples really are and in the process, we will learn how and where we can get them. With this information, we can try to avoid getting acne easier and thus sustain and maintain our youthful glowing, and spotless skins.

Acne is the term for plugged pores (blackheads and whiteheads), pimples, and even deeper lumps (cysts or nodules) that occur on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and even the upper arms. Acne affects most teenagers to some extent. However, the disease is not restricted to any age group; adults in their 20s - even into their 40s - can get acne. While not a life threatening condition, acne can be upsetting and disfiguring. When severe, acne can lead to serious and permanent scarring. Even less severe cases can lead to scarring. From http://www.skincarephysicians.com

Plugged pores. In my last post, 'Open up Your Pores', I talked about how to take care of our delicate pores. This is extremely important as various forms of germs and dust may enter them. We can get acne and pimples from the smoke and dust particles in the air. We can also get them through touching our faces with our hands. If you are wary about pimples, you may already know that our hands contain natural oils that may possibly ‘plug’ our pores, if we are not careful.

We can also get acne and pimples from the food we eat. Rarely do we get these from everyday food but when we do come across chocolate or any other fatty food, we are prone to pimple formation.

Side note: My uncle would always get pimples after eating Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.

Anyway, it is normal to get pimples but once they overdo their stay and multiply, you should consult your dermatologist.

Here’s one crucial tip that can save you hundreds of dollars from doctor fees and tons of humiliating days.

Do not, under any circumstances, touch or pop your acnes and pimples. Doing so will only help the germs inside the pus-full bunkers spread out on the surface of your face or skin. Even though seeing them might be irritating, do not pop them. . . if you value your ‘glowing’ skin.

Also be careful of the cosmetics that you put on your face as they might aid in clogging your pores. This will result in even graver effects. You can read more about the hazards of using make up and cosmetics in my first post.

We should always remember that we are not like snakes or any other reptile, which changes skins when nature calls on them to do so. We should not take advantage of our youthful glowing skin now as it will be hard to repair or mend it as we grow older.

Here is another related article that can help in reducing and avoiding huge pimples.

Skin Guru

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; Do not fret, there is still a way to reduce the damage and try to fight your way to a naturally glowing skin.

As I have discussed in the past tip, putting make up means contaminating your skin with hazardous chemicals. If you do not clean your face well, you will end up with those chemicals, still lodged in your pores until you are old enough to pass away. Anyway, one sure fire way of cleaning your pores is to expose them to heat.

Here's what you can do:

Heat water up to the point before it becomes unbearable to touch.

Dip a small or large face towel in it and let the water soak the towel.

After the towel is all dampened up, take it out of the water and let it cool for a bit.

When the time comes when you are able to put it on your face, do so.

Let it stay there for a couple of seconds; 1 minute is my personal preference. This will open up your pores and make your face more available to cleaning.

Be sure that you have washed your hands thoroughly before doing this as we cannot risk infecting your pores with bacteria.

Once you have had enough, take of the towel by either wiping it off your face or by lifting it. It won't make a difference anyway.

You can now proceed to clean it with a facial cleanser of your choice. If you do use a facial cleanser with alcohol content, the alcohol will close the pores for you. This uses the same logic as when you put aftershave after you shave.

Side note: For the men, this is also a good method to use when you are shaving. By opening up your pores, it makes shaving much more easier.

Remember, be sure to always, always clean your face after wearing making up as this will lessen the harmful effects of the chemicals in the make up.

Skin Guru

Tags: pores,clean,facial cleaning,how to get glowing skin,glow,skin

Make up is made up of various chemicals, chemicals which aren't necessarily good, or sometimes, even bad to our health. These chemicals, if ingested would surely cause harmful side effects. Good for the health? I think not. That is why I don't see the good in applying 'harmful - if - ingested" chemicals to our skin.

Research has shown that these chemicals, that are supposed to be there to better the skin, enters the body and stays there for a long time. The continuous use of make up has also shown negative effects such as various skin problems. It has even gone as far as to cause skin cancer. Improper application of make up has also shown to produce infections in the eyes.

Just because you look good at the moment you have applied the make up does not mean that you will still have that natural look that you had before the application. It does not mean that just because this super star, this celebrity is advertising this high end, famous branded line of cosmetics, that we should jump unto the band wagon and poison ourselves for a moment of 'beauty'.

This is why when we see celebrities, such as _____, without make up, it do NOT look good. They end up with pale skins. Can you now see how make up has destroyed PERMANENTLY the natural beauty that they used to possess? No anti - aging cream, or skin moisturizer will be able to repair the damage that you will do if you do apply make up. Your once 'glowing skin' will be reduced to a toxic waste dump, sentenced to age and wrinkle in the ugliest manner.

If you do decide to use make up on your 'once in a lifetime' youthful skin, then go. Just be sure that you don't over do it. Be sure to take it off completely after it has served its purpose for the day. Use facial cleansers and make up removers in order to preserve your glowing skin.

Remember, youthful natural glowing skin is still better than pale make up - damaged skin.
Remeber, how to get glowing skin is much much better than how to get whiter skin.

Skin Guru

Tags: glowing skin, skin, skin care, how to get glowing skin, make up, cosmetics
