I love to throw out a different pony tail and change things up a bit! Take a small section of hair on bottom into an elastic. Now take half of that hair and combine it with another section above it. Then take the rest of the hair above and half of the section below and put it into a pony. So you have 3 sections going down the back, and kinda cascading down. Making the curls really stand out.
