Learn how to make money online free before you start to spend money on tools and websites. As a beginner, you want to make sure that you have the basics down first before any money goes back into your business. It is easy to start getting sucked into trying to buy your way into the top of the search engines but this never works. Get the basics first or you will never learn how or why you are making money. Eventually this will come back and bite you in the ass.

My first advice to you is to get a Blogger account. Blogger is one of the best blogging platforms that is already set up for you to start making money. And the best part is Blogger blogs are free. This is a Blogger blog and hopefully by the time you find this blog it will be making money. Also Blogger is owned by Google, the top search engine around and the search engine I focus on the most to make money online with. Prior to getting your Blogger account you will want to get a Gmail account. I usually try to get an account that is going to mirror what my blog is about. My email for this account is: makemoneyonlinebeginner@gmail.com. This way I know what my account is for. I use this account for this blog only. When you start having a few blogs it tends to get a little confusing what is on what. This takes the guess work out of it.

Now you will need a topic or niche in which to blog about. This is a very important step. In order to make money blogging you want to make sure you have a subject that people are searching for. For this you will need to use what is called a keyword tool. Google also supplies this for us for free. Google has Google Adwords Keyword Tool This will give you all the information that you will need to find the right keywords for your URL and for your blog niche. Just put your keyword in the search box type in the capcha code. Watch to see how many searches there are a month for your chosen keyword. We will get more into choosing keywords in another post but for now we are just laying out the ground work.

You will post on your blog regularly, staying focused on your main keywords. You will also be writing articles and posting these articles to article directories with at least one link point back to your blog post and one link to your index page. Once you start getting traffic to your blog and getting some top search engine rankings for your keywords you will then be monetizing your blog. Most blog monetizing is free also. So far no money out of pocket and you are heading on your way to learn how to make money online free.

I am part of the baby boomer generation and with retirement drawing nearer I needed to make an extra income. With the falling economy so too my retirement investments fell to the ground. I had no money to retire on. As I am a 60 year old woman there are no jobs for me. Not even a Walmart Greeter job where I live. So I needed to find other alternatives to make a retirement income and making money online seemed to be the only way to be able to earn passive income that would afford me the lifestyle I was looking for during my retirement.

Making money online had a huge learning curve for me as I knew nothing about internet marketing. I was not raised knowing any of the technical stuff required in building websites. Using HTML meant nothing to me let alone being an affiliate marketer. I knew how to chat online and I had bought a few things online as well so I knew that it was possible to make money online, I just never realized that you could make so much money that working a nine to five job seemed like a huge waste of time.

Fortunately I found some honest and legitimate ways to make money online that were not cheating people and I never had to scam anyone. I have heard the horror stories of people getting bilked by some big hot shot guru and I fortunately was able to avoid such monsters.

When I was researching "How to make money online" the top blogs were Blogger Blogs and I found a way to make money online free without spending a lot of money for coaching or hosting. With Blogger I can make money free and have as many blogs as I want.

I did not learn all I know by myself. I have made a lot of friends on the internet and these people have gone out of their way to make sure that I learn the right ways to make money online and have never asked me to reach in my pockets for anything. We have formed a group of internet marketers helping not only each other but have made it our mission to help anyone who chooses to follow along in the endeavor to make money online.

Hense the start of this blog and my quest on how to make money online. Please even if you are a beginner or a novice I am positive you too can learn how to make money online at home and become financially independent. This is not an over night success scheme, but a long term way to make money for years to come. If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to ask in the comment section. Make Money Online as a Beginner

Learning how to make money online as a beginner, I am sure you have heard all the get rich schemes on all the TV commercials and on the Internet. I know I did and I bought into all of them. And never made a dime!

It took me a long time and many thousands of dollars before I figured out that you can make money online free and that you did not need to know all the technical jargon to be able to make money online. I discovered through a friend that I could even make money using these free and ugly Blogger blogs. With Blogger, I did not have to know a lot about search engine optimization because they are pretty much optimized right out of the box.

My very first website was a cookie cutter site that had thousands and thousands of the exact same sites on the Internet. I spent over two years trying to get that site to make money. I should have figured out that it was not going to work with this site long before I quit it. I am stubborn though and maybe even a bit slow. I thought it was all my fault that I was not making any money and that I just needed to work harder. I did not understand multi-level marketing and did not realize that the only ones who made money were the ones on the top and that the only way to make money was by suckering other people into buying this program.

If you hear the words "Plug in Profits" stay away! This program is definitely not for beginners and quite frankly you could learn more about making money online free just by following what I am going to be telling you in my future posts. I cannot tell you how this program beat me down to the core and had me believing that I was one of the few so bad off that I could not possibly make money online in any way, shape, or form.

Thank God I found my way back to believing that I can make money online and I have learned that with the help of legitimate marketers, I am able to earn an income online today without doing further damage to my credit cards or banking account.

Today I am confident enough to be able to take steps forward to try to help other people avoid the scams being presented on the Internet as legitimate make money online at home businesses. I am here as I hope you are to make money not go further into debt. I may not be the best teacher but I am going to present to you the best way I know how to learn how to make money online legitimately and for free.
