Youtube will be open in 15-20 days: says PTA

Farooq Awan said Thursday that video sharing website Youtube would be opened in Pakistan in the next 15-20 days.

Awan added that talks were underway with Google the company which owns Youtube to block blasphemous content.

Youtube was banned in Pakistan in September following widespread outrage over the anti-Islam film.

The PTA chairman also said that from December 1, only five SIMs could be issued on an individual’s CNIC. SIMS would also be issued from the franchise of mobile company stores, Awan added.

PTA had blocked the youtube access in pakistan back in September due to anti-Islamic videos on youtube.

How to download video from Youtube using IDM?

This question has been asked frequently nowadays as many people are using proxy tools to open youtube because of banned in Pakistan. Well youtube doesn't allow downloading from proxy connections.
For that , copy the URL (address from the address bar), close that window.Close all the tabs if anyone of them has a youtube page opened. Open the site www.unblockproxy.net and paste the copied URL in its bar.
New page will be opened, it might ask you for a human authentication check (entering alphabetical code from the screen). Enter that code. then video will be opened. After couple of seconds IDM download bar will appear as usual and this time around, you will be able to download.
Note:
IDM must be installed already on your computer and integrated to chrome, firefox (avoid internet explorer).

When Will PTA open Youtube in Pakistan?

All the uploaders of YouTube videos makes money from their YouTube videos if he/she does not belong to Pakistan, here in Pakistan most of the people are adding some good content like dramas and talk shows etc, which reduces the traffic to the TV Channels, therefore they made the PTA compelled and started adding videos on their own channels so that they could attract the whole traffic to their own channels and make as much money as they can.
In my opinion YouTube will never remove those videos and people stopped protesting against those videos. As I have already said that blocking a website is not the way to protest because thousands of ways are there to open any blocked website. I further will add that those people have no any religion and they cannot be stopped from their childish activities. Still there are thousands of people who are making insults of our religion on facebook and many other social media websites but PTA is not taking any action against those sites, because i have personally exercised this. I dont know why people are not protesting against those social media websites? Is this because they need them? Why they are not protesting against those products, just because they need it?
If we need YouTube why dont we have the right to share the ways to open it? If someone does not like YouTube they should not open it.

In my opinion the simplest way to protest was to add as much Islamic Data as we could to those social media. We should have to clear all those misunderstanding which they have about our religion but it will be only possible if these sites are kept opened.

Due to this prolonged banned in Pakistan, a frustrated youtube user must have cursed "YOUTUBE! UNBLOCK YOURSELF".

There are many business and ongoing project of people and companies depending on youtube but Govt of Pakistan doesn't cares much.
Well i have explored number of ways to open youtube as an anonymous user and as a user signing in their account.
I will be explaining the ways according to users skill level.

1. Beginners (proxy site)

There are many student at universities who are facing problems and restriction in watching youtube videos even if it is not banned in country.

For those, go to www.unblock-proxy.net This works in offices or at a place you are having an access through a proxy server.

Try to select 240p option as they have a flowplayer that play videos good in 240p view.

2. Intermediate-expert (proxy tool)

There are people who can do some extra work to get rid of the fatigue to open a proxy site each time. For this purpose, Download http://ultrasurf.us/download/u.zip

From this link, unzip/unrar the downloaded .rar file and here you go! No need to install anything. JUst double-click the .exe naming "U1204" each time and you will be browsing save and secure. Unseen from PTA or whatever shit.

On double-clicking, it will connect you to a server via port 9666 and an automatic Internet explorer new page will be opened. By default, you will only be surf through this proxy-tool via Internet Explorer.
If you want to add this as an "ADD-ON" in mozilla firefox, you will be required to drag and drop wj-button file to firefox toolbar.
Using a vpn software is another option but for that you be will required to purchase it.
