Sharing is good for many reasons, mainly to better utilize resources. Sharing resources allows you to more financial freedom for you are only paying for the time you are using it.

If you really think about it, you have been sharing your entire life, and didn't know it. We share a myriad of things:

hotel rooms
car rentals
time shares

However there is a new term for sharing, its called "collaborative consumption". This new ideology is the future of how we purchase and utilize our current assets. Collaborative consumption allows you to share with your neighbors, without fear of theft/loss.

Thanks to carsharing programs, we see that people are more inclined to share and will return your resource in the same condition it was borrowed. Networks are increasing in order for members to "share" whatever they wish. Many businesses are offering affiliate programs in order to help spread the word on their great service(s).

My pick of the week is "Airbnb" a new way to find lodging while traveling, both domestic and internationally. Many individuals are choosing to rent out their homes to others, and the results are in and people are happy with their experiences. Save yourself some time and money and think of this new way to see the world. I hear some folks will toss in their car for your use too!

Charles Woodson Foundation

The Charles Woodson Foundation has teamed up with "Sconnie Nation" to bring you these t-shirts, which benefit cancer research at the C.S. Mott's Children's Hospital.
Many times we find ourselves in a giving mood and with a strong desire to help those who are less fortunate, however, we ponder over whether or not, said charity is worthy of our donation, be it monetary or our time.

Funds will be used to provide much needed research support to battle these terminal illnesses. You can contribute through purchasing this t-shirt and make a difference in a childs life!

Love for our Pet!!!

Our family was blessed with Jeffrey, our long hair Daschund! We think he is the best dog in the world...he is loving, fun and a treasured member of the family. We take him for grooming every other week and make sure to walk him daily. We found that as our family lifestyle has evolved into being more conscious about our health and environment, we wanted to share the love with Jeffrey.

Pussy and the Pooch is one of our FAVORITE stores! They have everything from the normal leashes and doggy treats, but also organic products, that are more healthy for Jeffrey.

Many more individuals are opting to use two-wheels over four! This creates less traffic congestion on our streets and more available parking spaces. It is always important for you, the driver, to be aware of specially marked cycling lanes and our friends on bikes. I am certain you have seen large groups of cyclists, winding through the streets of Los Angeles, on any given night!

Many cities are adopting Master Bike Plans, in order to create new bike lanes that work in conjunction with existing traffic and neighborhoods. Some cyclists have adopted a mission of exposing our underpriveledged youth to cycling as well. Cyclists are just as precious as pedestrians, so keep an eye out, especially in the evening hours. Here are some additional safety tips, on how to share the road with cyclists.
