How To Make More Part-Time For Your Fortune Than You Make Full Time At Your Job.

You can make more part-time building your fortune than you will be able to save from working full time at your job.

Most people already do what a good part-time business is, but they just don’t get paid for it. Most people recommend and promote things that they like everyday, they just don’t get paid for it.

Think about your favorite movie or restaurant. How many times have you recommended that friends experience those things? They probably agreed with you and had a great time. Now think about how many times those friends must have recommended to their friends that they experience the same movie or restaurant. The theater owner and the restaurant owner probably sold a lot of tickets and/or food and drinks solely because of those recommendations. Did you like the referral commission check you got from the theater and the restaurant? Oh, you did not get a check? See, you recommended and promoted a thing you liked, but just did not get paid for it.

That’s network marketing. So let’s talk to you about how you get paid for it. You already are fully trained (except on how to get paid for it, of course).

You like a manufacturer’s product. Why wouldn’t you recommend and promote that product to other people?

Insurance agents do something similar. Whenever they recommend and promote an insurance policy, the insurance company pays them a commission. Their boss, the broker, who recommended they become insurance agents, receives a commission also. Their business is based on the same business model as network marketing, we just don’t ever think of it that way.

In network marketing, the manufacturer rewards the people who recommend and promote their product.

How do you make more than your full time job? If the manufacturer pays a 5% commission on a sale, for every $200 in sales, the representative makes $10. The beauty of a consumable product is that you do not have to go make the sale again as the consumer probably will keep ordering unless they decide they don’t like the product anymore.

The manufacturer also pays the person who obtained the representative a 5% commission and that can apply through multiple representatives or layers in the business. That is how a person can get true leverage in network marketing because like an insurance broker or real estate broker, you can have an army of representatives creating sales and you can get commissions on their sales as well as on your own sales.

But back to how you make more part-time. Let’s say that you have sold $2,000 worth of product in a month. You probably did not talk to any of them and the company shipped directly to them. Your commission check would be 5% or $100. Whoopee, you say!

Not so fast there and don’t turn up your nose yet. That number repeats every month most likely for years and you will add to those sales over time.

Let’s figure out what $100 per month really means. To get $100 per month through savings, you would have to have $24,000 in the bank at 5% interest. $24,000 times 5% is $1,200. $1,200 divided by 12 months is $100 per month, right?

Gee, you are only making $100 per month. You ought to quit right now, right? Only if you want to throw away the equivalent of $24,000!

Compare that to your full time job. You are on salary right? You probably barely have enough money for a month. You have to spend 40 hours a week to get that money and if you don’t show up, you likely don’t get paid at all.

Just how long will it take you to save $24,000 from your after tax earnings from work. Well, let’s say you scrimp and save $200 per month. In 12 months, you will have $2,400. With interest, it would take less than 10 years but you get the point.

You earned way more in your part-time network marketing business for your fortune than you can earn full time in your job!

If your check is $1,000 per month (pay house note, at least partially), you would have to have at least $240,000 in the bank to have the same type of passive income through savings.

You also get the tax advantages of having your own business so much of the network marketing income may be tax sheltered. You have to pay full tax on savings unless you put it in an IRA or something like that and then you can’t touch the interest income until 59 ½!

To be successful, a distributor must be able to master the marketing system so that the distributor markets the way you do. The Marketing System must teach distributors how to market the product the same way you do.

That's right. They flat lied to us about how to make income for the rest of our lives.

5 Steps To Start A Business From Home

Starting a business from home is easier than it seems. That business can be very profitable without a high start up cost and without employees. Look at these five steps to starting that business:

1. Select a product that has a hungry crowd. Whether it is success training for people who want to start businesses or a health product for people who want to be young and healthy, it needs to be a product for people who really want it.

2. Select a company that makes the product that has a track record. The company should be debt free or close to it. There should be no unreasonable delays in delivery. There are a number of companies that have had phenomenal growth in the market these days.

3. Low start up costs. People think franchise fees in this topic. Most franchise fees are $10,000 and up. Think membership fee like at Sam's or Costco. Your startup should be no more than $35 to $50 to get going.

Network marketing works the same way as the trainer and teacher is able to get an override on his or her sponsored members. Network marketing has a better model than what you see at your own job which is truly a pyramid. It is unlikely that you will ever be allowed to make more than your boss.

Would you agree with me that we should seek and take advice from people who really know what they are talking about? J. Paul Getty, who was one of the richest men of his time, recommended in a book “How to Be Rich” that you should own a business. His point was that you want to deal with products that get used up and bought over and over again. His point was that the product should be consumed (eaten), go down the drain, or go up the smokestack. The ordering over and over again concept is the key to residual or passive income.

Insurance sales are a perfect example of this concept. An insurance policy, like property insurance, is sold once but the customer needs it again every year. Every time the policy is sold, a commission is paid. The salesman does not usually need to sell the policy again but the renewal will be made over and over again.

A food business can be another example. The food is consumed or eaten and then must be replaced so that it can be eaten again. If a commission is paid, the commission is paid over and over again.

So own a business in which the sale is made once but the commission is paid over and over as the product is re-ordered with minimal involvement by the seller.

2. Have A Great Big Funnel. If you could add to your business every month while keeping the sales volume you had in the previous month, would you think that was a good idea? If you start your business this month and have $500 in sales and those customers are going to need to buy again next month, would you want more customers next month?

Compare that to some businesses where they sell a customer one time and that customer does not need or want to reorder next month. For example, a lawyer fixes a problem for a customer. The customer pays him for the work or advice. But the problem is fixed. The customer is not going to reorder next month. For the lawyer to make as much money, he will need to replace that customer.

In your business when you add a customer, you are not replacing a lost customer. So when you add a customer, you are not just maintaining your business but adding to your business. The bigger your funnel to bring in new customers, the better.

3. Get Leverage In Your Business. Mr. Getty also said that he would prefer to have 1% of the effort of 100 people than to have 100% of his own effort. There are only so many hours in the day, so if you are trading your time for money, your income is automatically capped.

Let’s go back to the insurance example. The salesman is putting new and additional business on the books every month. His commissions are directly related only to his efforts. Every agent though works for a general agent. The general agent helps and trains the agents. The general agent may or may not do her own sales. The general agent is paid 4% of the commissions paid to each agent to compensate for training and helping. The 4% is the passive or residual income stream you are seeking.

When you apply these steps in the right business, you can quickly and easily develop a residual income stream.

I emphasize the business aspect of working from home on purpose. My point is not to not care about the product but to emphasize that the business is not really about selling individual products to people. People want to live longer and healthier. People also want to have income that is dependable and not dependent upon going to work everyday. The business that I utilize and recommend does both.

However, I want someone to understand the power of investing $200 per month in their business and the return that that action can have for them. I frankly do not care whether they personally use the product, give the product as samples, or sell all of the product to third parties. The power is the constant ordering of product each month and being paid a commission each month on more than what you buy yourself. I also know that people who are only interested in what the product can do for themselves from a health standpoint are not really interested in the business side. I happily sell to those people as customers but I know that the money from the business side is not of interest. (I don't understand that knowing the power of what the business can do but I don't try to change their viewpoint).

What is work from home residual income? Picture going to your mailbox every week and getting a check that is mailed to you whether you go to work or not. Most people think about a recording star, like a George Strait, who records a song and then is paid every time the song is played or sold. One of my friends refers people to a product that he believes strongly about. He gives out coupons and every time someone uses one of the coupons, he gets a fee.
