There is no comparison to the Iphone I don't care what anyone tells you! I have had many phones and this is by far the best phone I have ever had. So if you have a cell phone company telling you to come over to their side with a few perks, don't do it or you will be sadly disappointed.

I purchased my Iphone 3G (not the 3GS) for 11 months, and when I downloaded the free Iphone Memo App to my desktop, I didn't realize that yahoo would not allow the memo to uploaded to your computer (to big of a file). After uploading, my Iphone went complete dead. I could not turn it on or off and had not updated it for about a week. I immediately took my phone to the Apple Store (please remember that you have to make an appointment first!)and was told that I did indeed have the warranty at that time and that my phone was no good any longer. Just think, if you did not have the warranty you would be in trouble. So I recommend you find other alternatives to repairing your Iphone if you phone is out of warranty.

Facebook's Iphone is one of the most popular Iphone apps. The Iphone 3GS Version made the app faster and better versus the IPhone 3G version; however the 3G is very good as well. The notification and address book sync are great additions too!

When you launch the Facebook app you will need to setup a user id which is the email address of your choice and choose a password. Once you setup user name and password on the Iphone Facebook app you will need to go to your email account and verify that you are a legitimate user. Once you confirm, you are ready to use Facebook whereever you go.

Now it time to find some friends and add them to you friends list. Facebook now has new rules so you won't be able to look at anyone's photos unless they confirm you as a friend first. Once that is done you are ok to look at whatever on their pages.

Here are a few things you should know to help you get started with your Facebook Iphone app...

News Feed - What your friends/family status may be
Profile - All about you. This is where you can add what is on your mind.

When I first purchased the IPhone 3G, the Iphone lacked the capability to shoot videos or zoom in on specific item with it's camera...which was a bit annoying. Even though the zoom feature on the 3G Iphone was not available, I was happy being able to take pictures anyhow. But when I traded the IPhone 3G for the IPhone 3GS, I felt as if I had a new car. The IPhone 3GS was faster and had the Camera app...I was in heaven! Who knew you could upload your videos right to YouTube.

The first thing I wanted to do was upload my Iphone video to YouTube, and that's just what I did.

I am a complete wreck when I leave my Iphone home. I literally cannot function here at work. What in the world is wrong with me. Has anyone experienced leaving their Iphone or any cell phone home for that matter. I really cannot get through this day without it. Does that mean I am addicted...could be. Everything I do relies on me have my IPhone in my purse. From my calendar, to the lovely voicemail that allows you to keep your minutes, to all of the wonderful apps. I don't know if I can go on without it. I may have to travel the 30 miles on my lunch break to go get it. Sad...but true!

My husband is a Skins fanatic! Not a Redskins fanatic, or a Potato Skins fanatic, but a IPhone Skins fanatic. I cannot tell you how many of these IPhone skins are lying around the house. Pink Skins, Red Skins, Leather Skins, Plastic Skins, Hard Skins, Soft Skins...you name it, we got it! I really do like them though! I cannot tell you how many times I have dropped my phone and if it were not for my pink IPhone Skin on my phone, I would be in trouble. I cannot afford to purchase another $600 IPhone. Thanks to IPhone Skins and the clear protective cover, I am able to preserve the life of my Apple IPhone.

Does anyone feel the same?

App Store...Getting IPhone Updates

The Apple store is the place of all places to do many things with your IPhone. Here you can get the updates to every app you have downloaded. The Featured icon allows you to see the featured app or more popular app's. The search app allows you to specifically find the app you are looking for. I really like this feature so that I don't have to browse thru the thousands of app's in order to find what I am looking for. The top 25 icon in the Apple store tells you what is hot. If you look a bit to the right you will see if there is a cost involved with that app, and make sure you read the reviews prior to purchasing. The Category icon in the the Apple store allows you to easily find the specific category you are looking for.

Also, please be aware of the file size when getting the updates. When you go to the Apple Store you will see updates in the bottom right corner. Press the update icon and look in the upper right corner and it will say update all. Select that, and IPhone will prompt you to add your password. Add your password and your updates will automatically upload to the appropriate place on your desktop. Remember that you may not recieve all of the updates because the file may be too big. So if that happens you will have to connect your phone to your computer and get the remainder of your updates from there.

The map is utilized more on my Iphone than voicemail app. The IPhone 3GS uploads much faster than the Iphone 3G. It is one of the single most important app's to my family. I have used this app on several occasions. Not only does this app give you specific directions to and from your destination, but it also gives you directions to and from your current location without having to put the acutal address for your location in the search box, which is very convenient when you are driving. The IPhone map app is a great to for women since we tend to get lost more...NOT! This Iphone app really takes the place of your car navigation system. Robin, my husband takes the time out to make sure that my IPhone gets the proper updates and that I have the protective cover as well as the case for my IPhone. Even after doing all of the above, my new IPhone 3G still managed to take a dive...thank goodness we bought the Apple Care. Never would I had thought I would have an experience like I had at the Apple Store. Everything was organized and when it became my turn in line, I was help with no problems. The little waiting time I had gave me a chance to play with the other gadgets in the store. After 15 minutes of looking at my IPhone, The Apple Tech decided that my IPhone needed replacing. I asked the clerk why; and the answer was a problem with voice memo app. Learn more Here. Come to find out...yahoo will not allow any memos over 3MB's and I was trying to send an 8MB's memo with me singing on it. I was trying to send a song that I was singing to my personal email. So, we will assume that was the problem.

My husband came home with the Apple IPHONE 3G, and basically when he came home with it, I looked at him act as if he were a kid in a candy store. The IPhone was more than he bargained for. I thought the initial new toy of the IPhone would wear off when he first purchased it. He did not put it down...in fact he spent hours on his IPhone. After hours and hours playing with his new toy, I finally picked it up to see what was all the hype with the IPhone. As I picked it up, my husband walks in and sees me playing with his precious IPhone. By that time I had managed to play with it a bit.

Of all the years of having cell phones, I have always been more concerned with how the voicemail works. When I had Verizon service, I had to dial a specific number in order to access voicemail...which I hated! When I learned how simple it was to operate the IPhone's voicemail, I was hooked! The voicemail is right there and very accessible. All you do is go to the voicemail option under the green phone app and that is it. Very simple! Get your IPhone Click Here!"
