I havn't updated for a while what with been unwell and christmas happening but I'm feeling better now so did a bit more tonight.

Thiers still plenty to do on this picture but the hardest parts are out the way now.

Jodys tattoo looks a little too dark so ill blot some of that out with a putty rubber and Arnie needs a bit more shading on his neck so his stubble doesnt look like an angular chin strap which a friend noticed!

I have found a cool jungle background which is much more dynamic than the original background and will add some perspective.

I've noticed this picture is looking a bit homo-erotica at the moment because of the amount of testosterone and the way they are studying each other, the background will help to break up some of that and balance the picture more.

People often moan and say how comes you copy stuff but I like to get a good resembalance of people and a realistic look in general and have you tried to draw something from your mind? the chances are whatever you do will be naff and it wont be the fault of your imagination.

I dont see anything wrong with using lots of different sources to get a realistic look and people that say stuff about things they dont know are often just jealous anyway.

The client for this commission, Jody, wants his own head drawn in place of Carl Weathers head and he has requested to be more muscly than Carl and for him not to be wearing a hat as in the original picture.

I have this photo of Jody's tattoo that I will try and incorporate into the picture allowing for the more defined arm of Carl weathers. I hope he doesnt mind me saying that!
