Can't post much really lately unfortunately guys, i've seriously been so busy and just getting a couple hours of sleep a night between everything in my life going on right now.

But I want to share something with you all, i've started planning next summer and me and a few friends are going to spend the entire summer on a road trip around the US. Recently i've been working a lot of hours trying to save up the money I need to go which is going to cost a fortune but that isn't the point. Its kind of a way of saying goodbye to my friends and enjoying the last of our time as high schoolers before we all go our seperate ways to college and the rest of our lives. I can't wait till next summer gets here because I can already tell its going to be the best summer of my life. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I want to take it no matter what happens or the cost.

Finally A Car Audio Update

Well back on track for the theme of my blog, i'm back on a post about car audio and how my system is coming along. Got a new piece of equipment today, going to get the other one in a few weeks.

This thing is HEAVY, its about 70 pounds. I'm still buying another, my friend might be selling me a battery rack tomorrow and ill just have to see what happens.

And I figured out what was wrong with the switch, the thing doesn't even work. Tested it with a multimeter and power doesn't even run through it. So need another one of those too.

Money Through Adsense

Hey guys, I was just looking at my Adsense account and I started to notice something, why was I making around 1 dollar or more per click when I first started but now i'm lucky to make 5 cents per click, and sometimes I don't even get paid for them. Does anyone know whats up with this or is it just random luck what you get? If anyone has any tips to increasing my payout please let me know.

Computer Problems

Alright guys I need some help with a problem thats been going on for awhile. My internet connection is just unbelievably slow, I have to constantly restart my router and wireless adapter, then it will be fast for about 5 minutes then start going really slow again and I don't know whats causing it. And then if i'm away from the computer for a couple hours it won't even connect to the internet and resetting it fixes the problem.

Also on my browser Google Chrome, my browsers whole screen just goes white and if I refresh it over and over it finally displays everything once in a while. This gets annoying because I can't even comment peoples pages without having to keep refreshing the page till it will actually show.

Anyone have any ideas whats up with it?

Sequel To The Parking Ticket And Other Things

Well I walked into school this morning with my bag full of pennies, right to the office and dropped it on the desk with my ticket and said "Here you go." She just looked at me and said "Fine" and I walked out and went to class. A kid in one of my classes said "I was the man," and I just laughed about it. A couple kids came up to me and asked if I really did pay it in all pennies so that was kind of funny too.

So far my day seems to be wake up, go to school, go to work/practice, homework, shower, bed. And a little free time to get on blogger and check out whats up with everyone. It still really hasn't hit me that its my senior year, i'm kinda just going day by day right now.

Hey guys sorry I haven't responded to any of your comments today but i've had such a long day its ridiculous.

I want to talk about something that happened earlier today that I think is some BS at school.

Well basically our school administrators are trying to crack down on kids at our school because our school is just about one of the worst in the state academically. Now thats great and all, but it doesn't give them the right to be a-holes about it. Especially to the people like me that actually go to class and do our work.

Now lets get to whats bothering me, read the next paragraph also to have both of these paragraphs make sense. They make us pay $20 to get a little sticker that says we are allowed to park in the school parking lot for that year; Yeah alright whatever, why do the vocational school students who can choose to go there for half of the day and learn a skill/trade like auto repair, and go to our school the other half only pay $1 for the whole year there? The parking lot is seriously just about ruined, it doesn't look like its ever been repaved since its been there. Where does all this money go that they get from the students?

But this is the real BS. They told us to have our permits paid for and on our car by Monday, meaning today. So by them saying have it on by Monday, I think its safe to assume that I can pay for it and have it on my car whenever I want by today. Wrong. They go around first thing in the morning checking cars and giving out parking tickets for it. I bought mine around lunch time and went out to put it on when I see a little slip under my windshield wiper. So I go back in and argue with the lady that deals with it and she has the nerve to tell me "too bad, pay the fine." Now keep in mind they would rather argue with me then stop the kid punching the other in the face while pinning him on the wall right outside of the office. Way to crack down on the school, you guys are doing a great job.

So anyways. I'm paying it in pennies and if she doesn't want to accept legal tender then i'll call the cops and tell them i'm trying to pay for a fine and they won't accept my money. And then i'm going to schedule a meeting with the principal and my parents.

I can be an a-hole too.

Man Sundays seem like the worst day of the week for me. They just drag on and on and just the fact that you gotta go back to work and school being on your mind all day sucks. But anyways not much to say today, I really didn't get much done but go to work for a little bit and chill with some friends. Now i'm back at home and have homework to look forward to.

Yay.

I didn't really mess with the switch because I knew it would just make me mad and I didn't want to deal with it today. But I thought of some new plans for how my box is gonna work, I'm gonna build a platform in the back of my car for where the batteries can go, its kind of hard to explain but I have a mental picture and I think it will turn out good. This week just needs to go by quick so I can be that much closer to completing my system.

Sort Of Bad News

I tried and tried and couldn't get this switch to work today. And whats bugging me is its just a 3 prong rocker switch and it should be just about the easiest thing in the world to wire and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I'm not sure if the switch is just messed up or its not meant to be used in a car but its a 120v switch I bought from radioshack. I can only think of the problem being is its faulty or the 120v switch won't work in a 12v scenario which I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't. Tomorrow i'm probably going to see if I can just wire it directly to a car battery and if the LEDs still won't turn on them i'm probably just going to head over to a local auto store and see if they have any 12v switches.

If anyone else has any ideas let me know.

Just got paid yesterday, i'm putting all the money away for the two batteries which I might be getting in about 2 weeks, possibly 3. Not much news but i'll have pictures of that switch wired up later hopefully, I just need to quit being lazy and do it. haha. But i'm getting kind of hungry so i'm gonna go get some food and start my day.

Whats up everyone, just doing my daily blog yet again. Not many updates with the car, just got a new 8 gig flash drive for my head unit so I can store all my music on it (2 gigs was getting a little small) and mounted the amp toggle switch into my dash but haven't wired it yet. Getting paid tomorrow so I'm gonna put away all the money I can for my batteries, I get a bunch of people daily asking when my stuff is gonna be installed or people asking for a demo but I can't give em one yet because I don't have the power.

I should have the toggle switch done by Saturday, I've had a long busy day and I'm going to have another one tomorrow, ill try to get my daily blog in but it will probably be late by the time I do.

First Day Back!

First day wasn't too bad, I guess i'm just use to going to school after all these years because it felt like just another day. Its weird because I use to dread the first day of school back a few years ago.

But anyways, a friend let me borrow his little amp today since mine is too power-hungry for my current electrical system right now, and I had some bump for the first time in awhile. My friend finally got his 4 15's wired up too, hopefully we can get that up and running this weekend sometime.

Also, bought a rocker switch i'm going to mount into the dash of my car this weekend to turn the amp on and off whenever I want to instead of it always turning on with the car, as always i'll have some pictures of that up whenever it gets completed but of course i'm a slacker.

Pretty eventful day between school, practice, and a little bit of homework.

Last Day Of Summer

I know this really doesn't go with the theme of my blog but nothing really happened today car audio related. Unfortunately, its my last day of summer before my senior year of high school starts and i'm kind of excited but not really, I just want to get this year over with. I spent about half of my day getting new clothes since I haven't in like 2 years and then worked the rest of it which kind of sucked but I need the money. Oh I almost forgot, I went to that car shop to get that spool of wire and they said they don't even carry it and never have. I wanted to support local business but oh well. I guess I have to order it online.

Box Done And In!

Finally finished the box for now! Painted gray, all 45 degree angles inside the box, and it is now in my car! Probably going to try and mount the amp soon but not for a little bit, I want to wait till I have the power wire for it. But for now, here it is:

The box is two layers of 3/4 inch particle board on all sides except the top which is three layers thick. All sides also have threaded rod pulling them together.

I have all my 45 degree angles screwed into the corners and caulked to make the air flow even better making the box more efficient which equals more output..Box is getting painted tomorrow and going into the car with the subs in, and then i'll show the pictures of it in, stay tuned.

The car show today was crazy! A lot of cars in the 150-160 decibel range and some really nice cars people put a lot of time and effort into putting together. Stay tuned everyone!

New Equipment!

New equipment should be on the way real soon! Hopefully 3 more batteries, a 250 amp alternator, and wire! Going to a local competition tomorrow so im gonna look around and get some tips from people who know much more than I do. Got a little work done on the box but nothing major and I don't want to take pictures till its completely done, but thanks everyone who is checking out my blog!

Since i'm going to be done with upgrading audio for awhile after this setup is done and seeing as I just got a job about 2 weeks ago I think i'm going to save up all winter and then during spring i'm gonna get a set of these:

I might upgrade my mids/highs but depending on how loud these subs actually are, they're good enough for now. But hopefully I have to(;
