Things are getting packed, alot of items sold. One more try at yard sale tomorrow. Then we will be getting ready to say goodbye to this place we have lived for 5 years, and after a long week, I can honestly am so happy to go, we have been stuck in a rut for years now, the more we try the more we seem to move back.

I am looking forward to the future again, I have fresh ideas for my Huckleberrys business though it will be on vacation till January but I will have some new items for December update at http://spookytimejingles.com oh and visit today too The new update was today, I didn't have time to make new pieces with us getting ready for our new adventure, but I made 2 free downloads of tags that you can only get there and only during this months update!

We are looking at after Thanksgiving for the actual move and getting on the road now, we are still getting everything together, seems there are times we just try to rush and this time no matter how much we are rushing we are set back 2 weeks. But thats ok this week I was worried about it, but things happen for a reason. It will give us time to make sure all the ducks are in the row. The kids are excited still so atleast that hasn't worn off. I am looking forward to more time with the kiddos, and not so much time trying to get sales with the business. I am looking forward to finally painting new guys that have been floating around in my head. I am looking forward to finally moving forward in life, again. Its about time. I find myself drawing back to where we should of left years ago when we had a chance, but that is in the past and now we have chance, and quite the adventure, and in fact 2 years ago I never even would of enertained the idea, of going around the USA with the kiddos, but now it seems like all I can think about is what we will be able to show them, the people we will meet along the way.

Going to some of the Art shows I have always wanted too.

Finally meeting some friends I have known for years and are a major part of my life. and even a chance to meet up with friends from HS, that we have kept in contact but not seen each other for years.

It will be interesting exciting and I hope the kids will learn so much. I have all the Homeschooling ready, (boy is that something) but also ideas and places to take them. Showing nature to them, I have always missed that for the kids I grew up surronded by nature, its such a wonderful way to grow up, and the kids I always feel bad living in the city with them. To show them what beauty there really is in the world instead of this city living and the crime and not to mention the place we live. They had probably have had it hardest the last few years, and yet they are still such good children and understanding and excel in school, so I think this will really just grow the kids more. I look forward to the family time things that we will be able to share........explore, and grow together.

I think I am rambling now lol so much for a quick update. Well there it is for now, another week and we will be moving on YEA!!!

I am putting my http://huckleberryarts.artfire.com shop on vacation on the 18th of November and probably won't be up till Jan again. Just wanted to do a little update.

We have a Date to start November 21 st (sooner if possible) bet it will be here before we know it. Spent the weekend sorting boy I have collected alot of items over the years here!

The change of management happened here at the park over the weekend, and I can't get no straight answers but that was to be expected.

We have narrowed down to 4 RV's

I hope by mid next week to get one here in the yard, and start painting the names on that will be going on the Trip with us. I think I am gonna call it the traveling billboard lol. Rod got a button up on the blog for anyone that would like to add their URL. I am painting them 5" tall 24 " long and I am painting a different character next to each name to. We want the names and the whole RV to really stand out and get passer bys a looking and places we stop at to really see everyone. I hope to spend the last 2 weeks adding the names to the RY/Bus We been referring to it as the bus lol. Hopefully we will have a nice array of people joining us I love the idea of everyone being seen accross the USA with us and getting out the people about our shops and items we sell

Never a Dull Moment ........

I have known for a few days of this new adventure but wasn't sure how to blog about it. It came about last weekend when we told about a change in management in our park which is way worse of a change already 3 families have left wow. I won't bore you with details, most know we have lived here for 5 years and do alot of the fixing and helping here. Which I enjoyed and always was happy to help. The previous manager is a dear friend of mine and always will be she will be 80 next year and she knew and really wanted the change but no one would of thought of the person that will be getting it. Really scary, of how this park may end up being,but anyways enough of that. Look to the future right?

Well we live week to week, its been that way for a good year and half, and many know we planned on moving next year anyways, so really this is just a push forward. Though more time to save would of been nice. We have a date November 20th funny my oldest daughters birthday. We are taking a big leap after talking with the kids and really examining our options, we have decided to take about 18 month possible 2 years are go around the US in the RV Yes really! We will be homeschooling the kids Wow the support there is on line amazed me. We will still have online access and my computer business of course will be here. It has to be lol. The Radio station is on still and will keep it updated and will have special shows. My husband has started a blog for our adventure to share with everyone http://prospectingforamerica.blogspot.com/ we will keep updates there and pictures galore.

I knew to though we usually make enough with the work we get, and it all budgets out to keep things flowing, but again you never know, and I have always wanted to get all the awesome artist I know out to the world. Which isn't easy to do just on the internet we have decided to have fun with the RV, I will be painting the RV but get this We will be doing a sponsor spot! Iwill be painting URLS of people that sponsor us on the bus, and I am adding little character paintings next to the URLS which I think will be a great thing to showcase on our drives throughout the USA. How many people will see those URLS ! Then how many people will take a picture of the RV and blog it or URL it, because you know me I can get over the top when painting :)

We also plan on going to many Craft Shows, Art Shows and some outdoor flea Markets some where you pull right up and park and set up next to your vechile! How cool is that for the sponsors!!

I have a layout planned but of course depends on how many sponsors I have a rough idea, but I plan on the RV or "bus" as we have been calling it. Will be eye catchng and definatly something that will spark interest maybe get it into some Newspapers maybe some news cast hee hee.

I would love to have alot of Artist with us, also just regular people that want to get their website or blogs out. Maybe some fun parents blog, Just regular day people. Matter in Fact that is something I think will be on the "bus" Regular Day people. of course though all sites we will add will be family friendly. And no to corporate sponsors. We really love the idea of getting everyday people out there. People that create things, people that inspire, people helping others, or just the person that blogs about life. Everday people making the world go around, everyday people that never get a chance to really be able to get out to the world because they don't have the ways of getting to the high traffic advertising. I think of how many times I would love to get a billboard and put Huckleberry Arts on for all the passing cars to see. though I never could afford it.

So that is my idea behind the sponsor spot and we did open them up there is only room for so many, and I would lvoe to get most on the last week before we leave. Though I can paint along the way. But it would be great to get as many as possible on there before we head off first stop Georgia! My husband Rod has the spots available on the blog http://prospectingforamerica.blogspot.com/ We decided on $20 and that will be for one year on the bus, I really wanted it to be resonable for all to be involved, and it helps cover the paint.

I invite anyone that would love to join us on our adventure to grab your spot, drop me a line if their is a special character you may like I know we have a butterfly a Sea Turtle , a flower Globe and a fun cute Zombie along for the ride thus far. and there is also a place when purchasing to put your color choice too! I will try to get as close as possible with the color choice. Basci colors are no problem :)

We won't be driving week in and week out we will stop for a few weeks at a time at diferent locations we are planning. We will hit GA first then start the trip out west.

Also we will be keeping on the blog places we are stopping and Iwould love to meet up with any of our online friends !! I think that is so cool! and fun and we will share pictures too on the blog. So please if you see us heading your way drop a line or stop in and visit if we are at a show you may live by.

I also started a Yard Sale blog http://hucksyardsale.blogspot.com I have been adding some things on there that I know we can ship. We are doing the craigslist thing, and will be having a couple Real Yard Sales here at the house leadin up to November 20th !! As fast as the weeks have been going geesh I bet it is here before we know it !!

Not only did I load these guys to Spooky Time Jingles for the 13th update, I have been working on some new cloth ghost which just got a new coat of paint, and some new more Primitive ornies.

Still holding my $1 Sale but not to much longer. But I do think I will change them to $1.75 instead of $1.99 for permanent price as I don't have all the fees incurred like I did on ebay and such with having them on Artfire, I would love to be able to have them affordable for everyone.

I did just over $100 with the sale Thank you all so much. I am working on more new sheets too I loaded some new ones last weekend. If you haven't seen them go take peek,. I am always open for suggestions.

Still in a limber of trying to find something to work out. I am thinking of trying to pick up more houses within a mile or so of the house for now. and still put money back from that. Hubby and I decided to work on the Radio more, we know it is a really good thing to get artist out to a whole new community but we also understand it is something not everyone can join in on, We wish we could offer all the free advertising possible but maybe one day, added some new affiliates that people can click on and find some things they might use. So theres an update for ya, I know I haven't done that much on my blog as of late, and I think alot of it is it isn't easy to do when you are in such a lull, Oh In 2 weeks my Ella turns 5 ! Wow Jesse just turned 2 in August my how time flies then we Have Cheyenne in Nov. and Cody and Garret in Jan, then Dawson finished it up in March Phew!

Hopefully if all goes well we will be heading to a new state to call home in KY we have been wanting to move since last year and it really seems the place we found in Ky will fit best there is some wonderful Jobs there, and housing is less than what we pay here, and the best thing we are closer to family which I miss the Kids not being around. And by golly change of Seasons!!! Can't tell ya how much I miss Fall , and Winter and Snow The 2 youngest have never even been in snow! Can't wait to see the looks on their face.

I played with the idea of Drawing on the tags and creating sheets with them. I listed a few in my Artfire Shop And thought this would be a good one for a Freebie for everyone. Just click here to download and print out a sheet of them on 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, try printing out on cardstock or manila folders. Give a great tag feel and effect.

Some New Creations

Thought I would share with you some new Creations I have done of late. This is my hand painted Cameo I did with Acrylics I know I don't usually do Santas that much anymore but when I looked at the cameo it is what I saw, maybe because of the person I got these wonderful cameos to play with the and the setting They came from Vintage Findings and more and not only does she have a wonderful shop to find lots of awesome goodies to create with, she herself is a beautiful person indeed. I have a couple more smaller cameos to play with yet and looking forward to it, love how they look and the diversity you can create on them with.

I also did up some fun wooden magnets a pumpkin set of 4 and skelle set of 4

They are all original creations, as always one of a kind.

I also worked on my STJ items today WOO HOO Not rushing the last week! And I am so happy with these new guys, Just a little peek STJ update isn't until Oct 13th, and I have 3 new little guys and I also working on some pumpkins, and a snowman guy too! Its been a few months I have been this far ahead for my STJ items so its kinda exciting lol.

My New Aceos

Finally getting a moment to post on my blog. Been one of those weeks where you turn around and it is over and weekend is looking just as busy too. I did get some new ACEOS done and listed in my Artfire Shop. I am also excited tonight is the Update for Spooky Time Jingles and will have a couple new offerings there too!

My new Aceos are fun little whimsical characters. They make me smile each time I look at them. I think the snowman are my favorite, they all though remind me of the kiddos.

They are all original and one of a kind and can be found now in my artfire shop.

Aceos still are my favorite to create, and collect. You can get some wonderful Artwork from Artist, with ACEOS. I have some I frame, and some I hang on a ribbon. They are fun to decorate the house with. I keep some of my favorite from some of my favorite Artist, around my desk. They are fun little works of art to have through out the house, and what a perfect gift to add to an envelope this year for Christmas, or even you friends for Halloween. They are a wonderful way to share Art with your friends and family, or just enjoy your own collection.
