Hindustan - Way of Life

2020-03-12T12:31:00.001-07:00

Yoga, Ayurveda and Now Namaste!

Next would be Diet.

India has so much to offer to World. Only thing is: We do not patent.

It's our soft power!

India or Hindustan is a platform, open to all, absorbs all good, forces nothing of its own, abstraction is our natural outcome.

Hindu(sthan) is way of life. Its protocol of Life. But open source. No string attached. Nothing proprietary.

And only platforms can be scaled infinite. Rest has by design their own limitations.

A Ray of Hope: Who is Chandrasekhar Sankurathri?

2018-05-28T10:15:00.001-07:00

On 23 June 1985, Dr Chandrasekhar Sankurathri was to see his world torn apart—his wife, son and daughter were all on the ill-fated Air India Kanishka flight from Toronto. It was a tragedy beyond anyone’s worst nightmares.
But, as Helen Keller said, ‘Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.’ There is no better example of this than in the path Dr Sankurathri chose thereafter. Channelling his grief into social endeavours, he returned to Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh and started a school, and then an eye hospital, for rural people.

A Ray of Hope is his story — the inspiring journey of one man’s decision to set aside his despair, and make a difference with his life.

True Leader, True Humanaire™: Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of Bhutan.

2016-03-26T02:36:00.002-07:00

This is How I want my PM & President to talk and walk that talk.

This is How I want my leaders to think and behave.

This is How I want Indians to think and behave, World to think and behave.

This is How We can save our Earth.

This is the Only way forward.

This is the only ray of hope that we will survive.

Gross National Happiness is much more important than GDP.

We have to think beyond me, family, us towards birds, animals and trees.

Our Constitution has only talked about RIGHTS not about responsibilities. Probably founders have thought of our ancient culture to make people aware of their duties, morale and acts.

But now, we become uncontrolled like Cancer. Our growth has become like cancer. We are populating, polluting, shouting and behaving like Cancer. This is not surely gonna sustain Human Life far more.

This is the only way, which makes business sense. Holistic approach towards life is only way to survive.

Thanks, Spread the fragrance!

Humanaire© : Animal Communicator!

2016-03-03T10:36:00.001-08:00

It’s true that animals always try communicating with humans but we are often not listening. This journey of a panther who was abused in the past is so inspiring and touching at the same time. The soul energy exists in all humans and animals, and when aligned on the same level is where the magic happens.

Anna, my Humanaire© is a professional animal communicator. More about her here.

Dr Vandana Shiva & Bija Devi: Awesome stories of true Humanaires!

2013-08-04T12:27:00.001-07:00

We are too busy with our Hippocratic lives, cheap entertainment & our ever fluctuating ambitions list that We almost get disconnected with Mother Nature. We became far away like Aliens to farms, trees, rivers, mountains and Seeds. Seeds? Yes Seeds! Just to remind, Seed is the origin of a tree, if you are not aware of it, already.
"Without seed there is no food. Without food there is no life. Saving seeds is saving life in all its diversity."

My Humanaire loves diversity, interdependence and freedom of equality. So they opposes opposites too. How about destroying all seeds which our ancestors are keep using for farming since generations by passing them to next, and making monopoly over it? Precisely Modern pseudo/crony capitalism in the form of Big Giants like Monsanto doing.

But all people are not busy like us. There are people and their great story like an environmental activist Dr. Vandana Shiva and a farmer Bija Devi and their fight to preserve heirloom seeds in India amidst great opposition.

There has been a lot written about GMOs, pesticides, organic etc. to the point that it’s easy to lose touch with how these issues actually impact people’s lives.

Will the dumb Govt get a wake up call from environmental activist Dr. Vandana Shiva on the reality of these issues and how they can impact farmers to the point of suicide?

Watch this video to learn the message of Dr. Shiva and the seed saving solution that she and her partner Bija Devi are manifesting in rural India.

Serious activist can visit to http://seedfreedom.in/ and http://www.navdanya.org/ to join this movement and cause. And yes do contribute if you love and respect Mother Nature!

With Love

Humanaire: Who We Are?

2012-01-01T00:53:00.000-08:00

Humanaire: What, Who are you? Many friends asked me, How would you define yourself. We took a lot time, Because answer is not what We want to give, We want to address few fundamental issues.
So If we are a group (Humanity reinvested corp), How would We define ourselves? A Corporate which is hungry to have 50-100% CAGR Profit growth on the cost of everything else? A Politician's Public Face? A Greedy Miner's Tribal Welfare Institution, An NGO - which looks to at same Profit Hungry Corporate, Ill Politician, Vulture turned Miner etc, to run their Operation?
No, We are None of these. And We are Nothing. We have not defined ourselves. Because a definition makes us boundaries around. We are moving so subjected to change.
So We are NOTHING.
We are Free souls.
We are the people who thinks World should be a better place. Man-Woman turned animal should Now try to be HUMAN. They should be Humanaire.
We are thinkers. We are Visionaries. We do not work in a group but our Destination is same. We do not patent our Ideas, traditional knowledge but can protect it. We think Ideas could be ours, But every Creature has right on it, because "We exist, because other also exist." We are inter-dependent. They exist so do we. We are Hopeful. We values Integrity. We can see "what is" out of What is been Projected. We think, We the human should not waste His-Her Life in Rate Race. We think Our Love and responsibilities do not end at Home but starts with.
We are Our future. We are Humanity. We are Humanity, redefined, Re Invented.
We are Humanaire. You too are most welcome, Dear, to a Journey called LIFE.
Wish you all a Very Happy New Year.

Are We Mad?

Humanity Hospital: A True Humanaire's Story

2011-07-24T12:51:00.000-07:00

Again a awesome story of a vegetable seller lady, who at the age of 20 years left with five kids as her husband died because of lack of healthcare access. That Day she decided and had a Dream to have a hospital for poor where they are treated as Human.
Rest, readers can read from different links and I have nothing to add upon. And it is not a coincident that this blog on Humanity and Subhasini ji's hospital name "Humanity Hostpital" resemble on core value.
She is my Humanaire!!

Photo: With thanks from: http://thealternative.in/articles/true-grit-that-built-a-hospital
And Doesn't she resemble with Mother Teresa?

Photos: Last two photos are copied from http://www.maheshbhat.com/heroes/mistry/index2.html .
I would also love to talk about Mahesh Bhat. He is a renowned documentary and editorial photographer. And it is he who photographed and well-known journalist Anita Pratap penned and discovered, story of Humanity hospital in the book "UNSUNG". Do get your copy guys (http://www.unsung.in).
Would try to dig more about Mahesh ji and Anita ji, in search of my next Humanaire! :-)

You give me hope: My Humanaire™

2011-07-24T11:22:00.000-07:00

Many people asked me who would you define as "Humanaire™". So when I conceptualize it I had lots of things in my mind. And I mean it. I have seen what people doing in a never ending race. No, No way, this is not the way to sustain and more than that LIVE the life.
Yes I want to share a lot things and would share with the examples from all walks of life who my "Humanaire™" are.
Let start. No more words to tell about them, just read it out!

Old People Line Up To Clean Radiation in Japan

Mr. Yamada: “I am 72 and on average I probably have 13 to 15 years left to live. Even if I were exposed to radiation, cancer could take 20 or 30 years or longer to develop. Therefore us older ones have less chance of getting cancer.”

Basically a group of 200+ retirees are volunteering to expose themselves to high levels of radiation so the younger men and women don’t have to.

Making the ultimate sacrifice to protect the lives of their children, and their children’s children.

Save Humanity!, Save Earth!

2010-07-02T11:49:00.000-07:00

"Save Humanity, Save Earth"

Sounds Paradox? While majority of people are trying to convey the message that "Save Earth to Save Humanity", I stand at different school of thought. I see loss of Humanity as problem to every issue we have encountered in past and will face in Future (If we can be there).

I put Humanity at Core of Human being, At very center of Human being. If our center is drying or dyeing, how can Human being be saved?

Attributes of Humanity like Love, Warmness, Innocence, Caring and I know you can add lots of words in the list, are now taken as sort of old fashioned stuffs. Ok, then let’s suffer too.

I would try to share my thoughts on this and would welcome friends to share their thoughts and action plans.

I strongly feel need of new Humanaire™ human being to save the earth for future generation. We have seen what millionaire and billionaire have done with Earth. So that’s enough!

And Yes I am not against wealth and wealthy people because again poverty is the worst disease that can happen to a human being, but there should be a balance, a fine silver line. Rs 5 Billion- Rs 10 billion is enough to survive your next 7 generations, so that’s enough Yaar (friends). More than that is just your greediness and mental illness. Put rest in business and enterprises where people can get their part.

Welcome Humanaire™, only you can save this Earth. You are the only hope!

That’s it at beginning.

Love

Rahul
