According to a press statement issued, the Taiwan Pride Community estimates some 10 percent of the population to be lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgendered. “These LGBT communities are however still treated unfairly and are constantly discriminated against in society." The statement says that LGBT citizens hope to "extend friendly hands to interact and have dialogue with non-LGBT people... to overturn the negative stereotypes."

While there had been several small scale gay parades/protests since 1996, the first official Taiwan Pride parade started in 2003 and was reportedly attended by 20,000 marchers. The event received 70,000 TWD (USD2,117) in sponsorship from the city government and was officiated by Mayor Ma Ying-jeou.

Taiwan appears to be one of Asia’s most gay friendly territories with same-sex marriage legislation being discussed by legislators since 2001 when the Ministry of Justice produced a draft of the basic human rights law which proposed that gays and lesbians be allowed to form families by legally adopting children.

In 2005, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) legislators proposed to amend the 2002 Gender Equality in Employment Law to include transgendered, gay and lesbian employees.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 1.30pm in front of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall on Renai Road and ending at City Hall.

Fermented tofu, which, as the name suggests, has a strong odor. It is a popular snack in East and Southeast Asia, particularly China, Taiwan, and Indonesia where it is usually found at night markets or roadside stands, or as a side dish in lunch bars.
Wide regional and individual variations exist in manufacture and preparation. Most typically, it consists of tofu, which has been marinated in a brine made from fermented vegetables for as long as several months. The brine can also include dried shrimp, amaranth greens, mustard greens, bamboo shoots, and Chinese herbs.

我記得，我第一次看楚浮的《四百擊》，是12歲的時候吧，在當時流行的小耳朵上的N H K看到的，日文字幕，法語發音，我完全看不懂，我甚至當時還不知道楚浮和新浪潮是什麼東西。但是，我直覺這部電影和我有緣，好像我偷偷讀父親書架上志文的存在主義小說一樣，神祕，坦率，充滿味道。好幾年以後，我讀建國中學，成為一個影痴，在重慶南路的錄影帶攤販上，買到傳奇的《四百擊》，我才知道我在N H K看到的那部電影就是《四百擊》。這片錄影帶成為我最喜歡的電影之一。又過了五、六年，我終於在「真善美」電影院看到電影版的《四百擊》，我當時連看片頭字幕都哭得唏哩嘩啦，因為開頭那個像是小孩子坐車看風景、巴黎鐵塔無所不在的影像，那個無論遇到什麼苦難，都幻想以對的奇妙音樂，尤其是最後，字幕打上這部電影是獻給安德列．巴贊的時候，我無法控制地哭出聲音來。

巴贊，楚浮，新浪潮，這是我對電影的夢想和愛情。

從巴贊手中遞來的熱

法國影評人巴贊用他生命的熱情，奉獻給他至愛的電影，那種熾熱豐富的情感，誠實深刻的良知，再加上他那豐沛神奇的文采，鼓舞了一整個世代的電影愛好者，而像個奇蹟般開創了《電影筆記》雜誌，這種受誠意、良知和情感所感動的創作動力，由新一代的《電影筆記》影評人傳承下來，楚浮、侯麥、李維特……等等，就都是從《電影筆記》影評人開始他們的電影啟蒙；當然，後面是有張溫厚的大手支撐著，那就是鞠躬盡瘁的影評人巴贊；哎呀，他在40歲就可能由於勞累過度去世了，這是我人生第一次對人的太早死感到由衷惋惜，他晚點死，整個電影世界就不一樣了，起碼我的電影世界就不一樣了；我是多麼期待他寫有關他情同愛子的愛徒──楚浮的影評啊。《四百擊》，1958年拍攝，巴贊去世。

巴贊給我兩個人生的目標，一個就是創造出散發生命光采的人文創作，一個就是人要活過40歲。巴贊獨樹一格的影評在他開創的法國新浪潮剛開始的時候結束了。那種像文學作品般的人文影評創作消失了，卻轉化成如文學作品般的人文電影創作。我們缺乏一本像《電影是什麼》那樣開創性的六○年代電影的影評創作，但是，我們卻有了法國新浪潮電影。一個溫厚慈愛的長者消逝，但他的愛情卻由一個新生的生命發揚光大。這才是我認為的電影真正的黃金時期，不是在默片最後迴光返照的時候，好萊塢片廠輝煌時期，或者法國、日本片廠輝煌時期，而是在小成本的手工樸實書寫質感的法國新浪潮時期，這就是我的電影黃金時期。

在巴黎，黑貓書店……

大學畢業，過很多年以後，我第一次到法國，公司旅遊，在巴黎一個禮拜；我冒著被同事說不合群的風險，在大家坐船去遊塞納河的時候，獨自一人跑去看電影，我幾乎是憑著一股意志和直覺，在完全陌生的左岸街道上，找到一家藝術電影院，放的是法國導演阿薩亞斯的《Clean》，我用生硬的法文和店員買票入場；在放映《Clean》前，放的是《四百擊》新發行D V D的廣告，配上讓人頭痛的一連串法文旁白，但我已經完全無法控制地哭了出來，雖然只是廣告片段， 我終於在巴黎看到了《四百擊》。

我後來在塞納河河邊的舊書攤攤販，一攤一攤尋找過期的《電影筆記》，一個慈祥的老太太跟我說，要找《電影筆記》，去這家店，拿給我一張黑色的明信片，上面畫了一隻黑貓、有個我看不懂的地址；但是，一個人一旦有決心，常有奇蹟出現，在台北常迷路的我，卻在陌生人聽不太懂的幫助指示下，在巴黎小巷弄找到這家黑貓老書店；我在這家小書店中，看到了從第一期開始到最新的一期《電影筆記》，我找到了以雷奈的《廣島之戀》為封面、1958年耶誕節的那一期，上面寫著：「安德烈．巴贊已在11月11日離我們而去……沒有他，電影評論將不是個值得驕傲的行業；沒有他，電影不會以同樣的方式發展……」

我在巴黎的黑貓書店，眼眶已經泛紅。

C'est la Chine qui administre "de facto" Taïwan depuis 1949, mais cette dernière jouit dans les faits d'une relative indépendance.

Deuxieme idiotie : Exotique et sulfureuse, elle reste encore préservée du tourisme. Pour preuve : on n'y trouve aucun commerce de souvenirs.

Merci à l'office du tourisme de TW...., c'est bien le moins que l'on puisse faire... Et le journaliste devrait peut etre aller de lui meme constater ce qu'il pretend connaitre ..

Il suffit de lui mettre un béret sur la tête pour que l’on reconnaisse un Français. Mais quel vêtement porter pour être identifié comme Taiwanais ? C’est la question qui est posée aux participants d’un concours visant à déterminer un costume national taiwanais.

Tous les Taiwanais sont invités à participer à ce concours, quel que soit leur âge. Le délai pour s’y inscrire est le 30 septembre, et le gagnant sera récompensé d’un prix de 300 000 dollars taiwanais.

Ce qui est agacant c'est le changement de graphie des stations de métro a Taipei ^-^, mais bon bref on finit toujours par s'y retrouver.

je sais c'est stupide, mais les petits magasins me manquent beaucoup ... Surtout cette année ( 2007) bref ...

Habituellement je ne m'intéresse guère aux avions, mais ... Aaron m'ayant gentiment donné quelques photos de lui .. et de ce monstre volant ... Entre les deux mon coeur ne balance pas :-)
