Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) [Review]

SYNOPSIS:

After the events of Endgame or what the school kids have been referring to as 'The Blip', Peter Parker (Tom Holland) carried on being Spider-Man. However, he has been pressured by many to step up and be the leader of the Avengers, replacing Tony Stark which is quite hard for him since all he wanted was to have a normal teenage life (or at least a proper normal holiday in Europe).

I can assure you that the most exciting thing for me about this movie is Jake Gyllenhaal. I simply adore him as a person and worship him for his acting. He rarely disappoints. In this movie, I love him more than Tom Holland. Sure, Tom is great like always but Jake is so terrifyingly charming. I mean, one moment he can be this caring bro like Captain America and the next thing you know, he turns out to be this emotionless psychopath.

I mean, as a comic book reader, I've known from the start that Mysterio is a baddie but the way Jake Gyllenhaal portrayed the character made me hopeful that maybe the MCU Mysterio is not evil and the perfect mentor for Spider-Man. Yeah, for a second there, I was very hopeful. That's why when the evil plan was revealed, I was a bit crushed and yet in awed of how the story went.

The look of Mysterio is also mindblowingly awesome. The fish bowl head works and the overalls are phenomenal. His "super powers" are well thought of. The integration of illusion techniques and technology makes him believable. His threat is also no joke. You can see how formidable he is with that horde of killer drones and hyper illusions. The character can stand tall as one of my favorite MCU villains.

The second best thing about this movie is the puppy love between Peter Parker and MJ (Zendaya). I have to say that this version of MJ is the one that my younger self would have a crush on because I was pretty into weird, quirky girls when I was in high school and college. The interaction between the two characters is awkward and sweet which is how a puppy love should be. These two did bring a smile to my face.

The awkwardness is not just in the relationship of Peter and MJ. In fact, most of the characters are cringey and awkward like the class teacher and Ned and his new girlfriend, Betty. Happy and Aunt May!!!! The characters are awkwardly hilarious and it makes this movie much more enjoyable.

I love the story so much because it makes sense and well thought of. I mean, seriously, you can see many events are related to each other. First of all, if you watch the second end credit scene, it does make sense why Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), the most paranoid and smartest person in the MCU would make a mistake of believing in Mysterio. Welp, it's because he's not Nick Fury. He's Talos, the shape shifting alien. Then I love that this movie is related to some of the previous MCU movies. Like, how Mysterio has the motivation to hate Tony Stark. Heck, I never thought that small scene of Tony showcasing BARF from Civil War would be used as a huge component in this movie. Big kudos to the writers.

Did I mention second end credit? Yes I did. There are two end credits and while the second one is intriguing as I mentioned earlier, the first end credit is hilariously amusing. The return of J.K Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson blew everyone's mind!! I love where this movie is going. I shows how the creators care what the audience truly wants in terms of casting. I can't help but feel sorry for Peter Parker though. All he wanted was just to be small time superhero - the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man but after this reveal, I can imagine how chaotic his life would be. Many villains would surely go after his family and loved ones. I just can't wait to see what the next movie would be like. I'm predicting multiple villains at the same time - THE SINISTER SIX!

The second end credit also opens new doors to the MCU. If I look at the comic books, I would say that this is a preparation for the Secret Wars Arc.

The action scenes are plenty and at a larger scale than the first movie. As I mentioned, Mysterio is a formidable opponent and Spider-Man has to go through a lot to beat him. My favorite scene is when Spidey took the bridge sign and held it like a shield and his other hand was holding something that seem like a hammer. For me, he looked like Captain America during his solo fight with Thanos in Endgame. Got me excited for a bit. Seriously, it made me think that Spider-Man is a combination of Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. Smart, humble and never give up.

Furthermore, the visual effects of this movie is astounding. My favorite? The part when Tony Stark came out of his grave. Holy Shit! Damn. I never expected Mysterio's illusions can be made to as awesome as that.

All in all, I just want to say that this movie is probably the best Spider-Man movie ever because I love how formidable Mysterio is not just in terms of fire power but also intellect and cold heartedness. The movie is hilarious and the action and visual effects are awesome.

American Assassin (2017) [Review]

Rating: Many violent fights, some torture and horrible deaths. Oh, there's a boobs scene for 3 seconds. No sex though. Meh

SYNOPSIS:

Mitch Rapp (Dylan O'Brien) and his girlfriend was on holiday at a beach when a group of terrorists attacked. His girlfriend was killed and that triggered Mitch to train himself to be an assassin so that he could get revenge.

If you read the synopsis above, you might think that this is a typical revenge story. Welp, it's not. The revenge part is just short. Then, the main character got sucked into a world of spies and CIA shit. I have to say, the revenge part, which is at the first 10 to 20 minutes of the film is very intriguing for me. The rest of the film?? Hmm... Not so much. To be honest, this movie is boring.

The story is kinda ridiculous. A man who train himself to be an assassin is hired by the CIA to do some shit. Of course, when talking about CIA, then ought to be some secret program to train people into spies. The main character got thrown into that secret training program for, I don't know, maybe 2 days??? and then got permission to join a mission. Oh wow.

The training scenes are hilarious. I did not mean it in a good way. It's unnecessary and it's just a poor excuse to introduce the main character to the Micheal Keaton's character - Stan Hurley, the secret program instructor. There's nothing cool about the training scenes. I thought it was going to be a tough program but nope.

Furthermore, the pacing is slow. Characters spend too much time talking to each other about how people should not take this shit personal and only focus on the mission. For fuck's sake, there isn't even a love scene. You know, if a movie is bad, but there's a scene where the main characters make love for a few seconds, you would be thinking "Welp, at least the sex scene is good.". Nope, nope. This movie has no sex scene, no lovey dovey. There is a moment of tension between the main character and his female colleague and they were in a bathroom. But nope. He beat the shit out of her. Literally.

In terms of acting, Dylan O'Brien did an okay job. I think the material he was given to work with is lacking something. The character lacks... conviction? Like he doesn't know whether he's a brat with a mouth or just an emo guy.

The script also does not bring the best out of Micheal Keaton. Like, what a waste. Micheal kept talking and talking and talking, it bored the shit out of me.

Apart from that, the action is meh. There are no over the top spy action shit. Just regular shooting and stabbing and brawling. The main character spends too much time fighting nobodies. For example, there's this scene where he breaks into an apartment and he takes so much time to kill one bodyguard. Like hell, kill him already!! The title of the movie suggests that this movie would be filled with cool assassinations. Hahahahahaha.... Nope. No assassinations in here.

All in all, I would recommend you to skip this movie because it is boring. The story is uninteresting, the action is not intriguing, and the characters just won't stop talking.

Shot Caller (2017) [Review]

Rating: Many violent, gory fights and bloody as hell.

SYNOPSIS:

Jacob (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), a plain, married suit and tie guy, was sent to prison for a crime he unintentionally did. In prison, he quickly learned that he needed to adapt or die.

I have to admit, I was interested in seeing this movie because Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (damn it's hard to type his name) a.k.a the infamous Jamie Lannister a.k.a the kingslayer is in it. This guy is damn good in Game of Thrones and I was intrigued that he is willing to star in a prison gangster film.

I have to say, Nikolaj is the best thing about this movie. His acting is on point. At first he is portraying this tough, scary prison gang member and then during flashbacks, he seems like total nerd. That's good acting. The whole appearance change from nerdy to frightening formidable guy is also impressive. I'm not talking only about the looks. His presence, his persona... Damn, this guy is good.

Talking about acting, the supporting characters are also awesome. Jacob's wife, Kate, played by Lake Bell is also a good character birthed from good acting. Another outstanding actor is Jon Bernthal a.k.a The Punisher who played Jacob's fellow gang member, Shotgun.

I can say that all actors and actresses in this movie did a really good job.

The story and plot is also outstanding. The transitions between real time scenes and flashbacks go smoothly and do not seem out of place. The pacing is nice. It's not too fast and not too slow. I don't know how to describe it but it is nice. It glued me to my seat. I don't feel bored at all.

Furthermore, this movie is beautifully shot. The camera angles and picture edit made me think, "Oh, this would make a beautiful photo." a few times. I am pretty impressed with the director.

Apart from that, the fight scenes are bloody and kinda realistic. It is not over elaborated. All of them are prison style. Shanks, clumsy brawls and etc.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoy this movie and hoping that there would be a part two because the main character can be seen as necessary evil or something like that. The actors are awesome and the story is well written.

5 stars from me.

My Ma

Last weekend, my mom and two brothers went to Kuala Lumpur by car for one of our relatives' wedding. While they were there, they thought it was a good chance to go straight to my house at Port Dickson after the ceremony to meet me and my kids.

They live in Terengganu which is around 5 to 6 hours of driving from Port Dickson so I rarely see them much. For them to stop by and stay for a couple of days meant a lot to me.

My mom or ma as I call her looked basically the same except for her hair. Sitting close to her while she lay on my sofa, I noticed how much her hair has turned gray or white and it hit me hard on the chest. She's getting older and one day, maybe sooner or later, she would be gone.

I love my ma. She's the rock that has been holding the family together.

My eldest brother was raised by our grandmother and my two younger brothers were too young to understand and see how hard ma worked to put meals on the table when abah was not around for some time. I was in school and abah left us for months a few times. Not saying that abah was wrong. He was fighting his demons and didn't want us to be caught in crossfires. The time that he was gone made an impact and abah came back a far better man. Al-fatihah to abah.

But the times when he was gone was rough. You can say that I didn't leave the house for anything because I helped ma. I went to school then I came back home to help out with our grocery shop. That was it. My childhood was kinda meh. Maybe that's why I'm struggling to find my inner child now which is kinda tough for I am a family man and must act like a man.

Ma never gave up on abah. No matter what he did and how imperfect he was, she always accepted him back. Her love made him change.

She rarely gives me hugs or kisses. We're not that kind of family where everyone are so close physically with each other. But whenever she does hug or kiss me, the feeling lingers for a long time and I long for it to happen again.

I haven't been the best of her children. But I hope she knows that I do love her and I long for her. I miss her and under different situations, I would choose to be with her.

On a side note, I feel so proud of my wife for hanging out with ma. We went to IKEA and IOI City Mall and my wife and ma had some bonding moments. They did gardening together and it just melted my heart that they could get along. Two different women. Both are strong. Both are mine.

Avengers: Endgame (2019) [Review]

SYNOPSIS:

After the snap (refer to previous movie), what's left of the Avengers and Captain Marvel tracked down Thanos to bring everyone back. However, Thanos had destroyed the Infinity Stones, leaving each one of them feeling helpless and hopeless. That was until Ant-Man, who people thought had disappeared because of the snap, suddenly appearing at the Avengers Headquarters front gate.

I didn't want to watch the trailers. I don't like watching trailers because most of them sort of give too many details which ruin surprises in movies. So, at first I didn't want to watch the Endgame trailers but everyone kept talking about it and it kept appearing on my Youtube home so I just WHAT THE HECK OKAY I WATCH IT NOW.

I have to say that the trailer had done a good job in misleading me to believe that Endgame would be an all out war against Thanos from the start til the end. Especially the part where it shows everyone wearing the white space suit. I thought, YEAH LETS GO GET THAT SON OF A BITCH!

Yes, they did that. But in a different suit. They were wearing black. At that point, I was thinking, hey, this looks different from the trailers. Then they found Thanos and there was no fight. Literally no fight.

Of course I felt a bit disappointed but as the movie went on, I sort of understand why they chose the plot. It was to provide more complexity to the story and also to inject it with a little bit of heart.

Lets talk about the story. As I mentioned, I wanted it to be a full scale battle from the start til the end. But, having it just focused on battle would not make Endgame a good movie. It would just be a meaningless, simple movie that people won't critically discuss about. A mediocre action movie.

So instead of having them fight from the start, the movie flows at a very nice pace and then BOOM!! CLIMAX.

To those who supported Thanos' logic in Infinity War, I just want to say, YOU'RE WRONG. The galaxy didn't strive and prosper after the loss of half of the organism. Nope. The survivors just mope around and earth became post apocalyptic. The "5 years later" scenes are so necessary to show how wrong Thanos was and his way of thinking is immature and full of nonsense optimism. It makes sense because world leaders vanished in a just one moment so there was chaos everywhere. Lead scientists vanished, pilots vanished, teachers vanished, policemen vanished. Half of the population vanished in an instant and the people left behind had no plans for this scenario. Just imagine working in a large corporation and suddenly half of the staff went missing. The company would go down into the ground.

The "5 years later" scenes are also vital to show some emotions and how human the superheros were and also to showcase how well the actors can act. I have to admit that I cried a bit watching this movie but I don't remember during which scene because there are so many touching scenes. Maybe it was during the Hawkeye and Black Widow debate of who should be the sacrifice. Damn that scene. I remember shouting inside my head NO CLINT! YOU DIDN'T HAVE A SINGLE SCENE IN INFINITY WAR!! when he jumped.

In addition, the "5 years later" scenes kinda serve as a flashback for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans because they got to go back to previous movies. I got chills when Captain America entered the elevator with Rumlow and the gang because the elevator scene in The Winter Soldier is my favorite scene ever. I got so hyped, I let out a weird squeal.

The time travel part is rather complex. I am interested in the whole science thing but yeah, I have no idea what the concept is in this movie. They were very subtle in telling the audience that the time travel in Endgame is different than the ones in other time travel movies which is true. I thought when they alter the past, the present would be changed too. Like how Nebula killed her past self and yet still remained. I thought she would disintegrate into thin air. But nope, they've said it. The time travel concept is different. So ignore all of other time travel movie plots. I also thought that if they changed the past, Tony Stark's daughter would no longer exist. It was because I have watched About Time (2013) and yeah, it's different so don't think too much about it.

In a way, the Infinity Stones are like Dragon Balls where when they're together, you can just wish anything to happen. But the catch is not all people can use it. Tony Stark used it and what did he get? End of contract.

Damn there are so many subtle hints in the movie. The fact that the Infinity Stones were placed on a gauntlet made by Iron Man is such a foreshadowing.

I have been wondering about whether the MCU would follow the comics on the change of characters. I mean, in the comics, Falcon became Caption America and Thor was female. Now that I have seen Endgame, I can confirm that they would proceed with it at least for a bit. Old Cap passing the shield to Sam confirms it. There are rumors on having a Falcon and Winter Soldier series which I am excited about. The way they bantered with each other during Civil War is so entertaining. I can also see Valkyrie becoming the female Thor since Natalie Portman seems reluctant in returning as Jane. Besides, Valkyrie as Thor makes more sense than Jane.

Loki is possibly alive. He ran away using the Tesseract and who knows where (or when??) he jumped to. Time and space is a complex concept. Don't think too much about it bro.

Pepper Potts as female Iron Man! Iron Woman? Iron Lady? Is this a thing that they would continue in the next phase? Either her or Moguna (Morgan) Stark would grow up and take daddy's role. They sort of hint it when they introduced her. She was wearing the mask. Maybe.

Oh I love how the females lined up during the last battle. FEMALE POWER WHOOP WHOOP

Okay, I have to say that Captain America weilding the hammer made me cum a bit. That was HYPE! I love that scene when he fought Thanos. Yeah thinking about the movie climax gives me chills man. I am literally having goosebumps as I am typing this because those epic fights are playing back in my mind.

Captain Marvel where are you??? THEY NEED YOU! Boom and there she was with her big entrance. Damn, Captain Marvel sure is OP. OVERPOWERED!!

And we finally got to see Spiderman's instant kill mode. Stab stab stab stabby mcstabface!

Ah look at me. Instead of analyzing the movie, I have been hyping about it. I don't think this post qualifies as a review haha. It is cool because this movie is the HYPE of the century. Everything has been leading to this.

All in all, I can say that I love this movie because of many things and this post doesn't cover all of it. Action, emotions, visuals, humor... IT HAS EVERYTHING. I think that the Russo brothers have been doing a good job and I hope that they continue their work in future Marvel movies.

Renew Passport / Pasport Hilang & Expired (2019)

My wife Azim is in the midst of planning to go to Thailand with her friends but the thing is, kali terakhir kami nampak di mana pasport kami adalah berkurun kurun lamanya dulu. Telah kami usaha cari pasport kami, namun tidak ditemui. We lost our passports and of course they have already expired.

Oleh itu, untuk mengelakkan daripada membazir masa ke hulu dan ke hilir, we did our online research on how to renew passports in our scenario.

Based on what we read online, we have to go straight to Pejabat Imigresen. Luckily, Port Dickson has one which near our house.

Apakah yang perlu dibawa? Ramai orang berkata yang tidak perlu bawa apa-apa kecuali IC. Tapi di Pejabat Imigresen Port Dickson, pegawai yang melayan kami meminta salinan photostat IC. Jadi, lebih baik tuan tuan dan puan puan sediakan salinan IC.

Selepas memberikan salinan IC, pegawai berkenaan mengambil gambar isteri saya. Semasa kami di sana, terdapat seorang makcik yang memakai tudung merah jambu. Untuk proses mengambil gambar, pegawai imigresen mengarahkan makcik tersebut untuk memakai tudung hitam yang siap disediakan di dalam satu bilik persalinan. Your hijab and shirt must be dark colored and if they aren't, they have prepared those things for you.

Selepas mengambil gambar, isteri saya membayar duit RM200.

UMP-45 | Moonrise Star Pattern Index / Seed Number

Recently, Valve have released the new Prisma Case which contains many new CSGO skins including the UMP-45 Moonrise. Similar to the Glock-18 Moonrise, the UMP-45 has rare star patterns that adds more value to the skin.

I was interested in finding one too and managed to snipe it from the Steam Community Market for a low price. Below is the one that is now in my inventory.

It is not the best star pattern as the star is not centered but it was cheap so I just grabbed it. The pattern index is 945.

During my search, I stumbled upon these.

Except the one that I bought, the others were ridiculously pricey. These are not all the pattern indexes. They are only the ones that I managed to find in the market.

Do comment if you know other pattern indexes with star pattern. It would certainly help players that are interested in finding them. Thank you

CS:GO Prisma Case

The CSGO community has been requesting for a new operation for so long and many predicted that it will be coming soon with a brand new case. Welp, I'm not one of them. I personally think that Valve will no longer be releasing any operation as the Major Passes for the IEM Katowice 2019 Major was a hot sale. Why would they spend more effort creating operations when they can just make money from Major passes. That's my two cents though. I might be wrong.

But to add more support to my claim is the release of the new Prisma Case earlier today. Do you see any operation that comes with it? Nope. There you have it. I stand with there will no longer be a new operation. Haha

Anyway, this post is actually to check out the new skins that has been approved and release. Lets start with the M4A4 Emperor.

We already have the AK-47 Empress and now Valve has given its pair, The Emperor. Honestly, the Empress looks cool but many people are put off by its many details. I think the same goes to Emperor. As you can see, this skin has a lot of details and it would be the same case as the Empress. Some people would adore it, some won't.

The Five SeveN is my favorite pistol because of its destructive power and bullet count. So far, I have been using the Hyper Beast but now I think I have a new skins to be used as a regular. Seriously, this skin is so cute! The color is vibrant, the monster characters are cute and nicely drawn. I want it. I think if you like the M4A4 Hellfire, this skin would be your pick too.

Who use the R8? Psychopath. Yeah. Only they use the gun instead of the Deagle. Do I like the gun? No. Do I like this skin? Yes. It is perfect for those who are having a yellow theme inventory. This skin reminds me a lot of the Galil Chatterbox which I like.

The auto-shotty! Seriously, we need more love for this gun because it is bad ass. This new skin also makes it look more bad ass! Look at those teeth. Kinda look like the Sawed Off Devourer huh? Except it also has the P250 See Ya Later vibe. Put this skin into my want list, now!

The AUG has been getting more love recently due to the decrease of price (but now it has risen again) so I predicted that Valve would choose a new bad ass skin for it. Welp, turns out I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, the Momentum is a nice looking skin but I want something more for the AUG. So far, I personally think that only the Akihabara Accept and the Bengal Tiger are the best skins for AUG. We need more elaborated and over the top AUG skin!

I don't really get the concept of this deagle. The name suggests that it has something to do with trains but I don't quite see it. The colors do remind me of the Hypnotic Deagle. I have mixed feelings about this skin. Color wise, it looks meh but detail wise... Hmm... Kinda look interesting. Maybe I should see it up close to decide.

This skin reminds me a lot of the M4A1-S Control Panel, which I don't quite prefer. The details is nice but I prefer more vibrant color skins. Besides, I don't use M4A1-S and MP5-SD anyway, so I don't really care about them.

Seriously? Another bamboo themed Tec-9?? We already have the Bamboo Forest Tec-9. I think it's chosen mainly because someone likes the name so much. Clever pun. Might be a dad.

Whoaa. I kid you not, just last night I bought a Glock Moonrise with a rare star pattern on it. Seriously, I love this skin. It's purple and classy. So this skin is definitely on my want list. I'm guessing the UMP will also have the rare star which people would be crazy about. Collectors will buy this for a lot of money. I saw on reddit that a guy spent more than 200 dollars for the Glock star pattern. Crazy.

This AWP looks nice but in my noob opinion, it would not be that popular. It's kinda dark in color and it's just picture of a thorny snake. Meh

What the hell is this??? It looks like the MAG-7 Petroglyph. I think many people will get this ugly skin haha.

Another brown colored FAMAS.... I was not a fan of the previous one - The Eye of Athena because of the color scheme. Welp, the same goes for this one. The details are beautiful. I might try it first. Maybe I would like it just for the art.

Possible blue leaf pattern anyone? Nope? Okay.

I dislike the MP7 Akoben because the pattern makes me dizzy and I'm sure I would dislike this one too. I'm getting dizzy now. Yup. A nope for me.

Hmm... I'm liking it but at the same time I don't. I mean, I like the art but I'm not sure I like it on a gun. Kinda look like a rust coat too.

Whoaa... Illuminati! I think people would like this gun for the meme. We all have seen the Glock Off World and it's not our favorite. However, having more surface, the P90 Off World has room for many easter eggs. That illuminati logo, the devil face, the words. Kinda reminds me of the battle scarred Nova Toy Soldier. Anyway, I kinda like it. But I have to complain about it being blue. There are so many blue colored P90. The Traction, The Modul, and now this! I use P90 a lot so I am hoping to have more cool looking skins.

What the fuck is this skin??? It's like a samoan AK-47. It's so ugly. Totally a wooden gun. Did I mention how I dislike brown colored skins? Yes I did.

Anddd... Finally, the ugliest of all. It's like a kid drew on it using chalk. This is the skin many people will get from the case openings haha.

Last but not least, we are getting new knife skins for the Horizon knife series which is dope.

I am a fan of the Ursus knife and I am definitely craving the Tiger Tooth. The Talon is an awesome knife too. Look at that sexy Tiger Tooth Talon!!!! I'm drooling, man. Definitely drooling.

Overall, this case is nice. Not the best case ever as there are many lame skins, but I am loving some of the skins. I am aiming at the Five - SeveN and the XM. The Emperor is nice too but I would have to get the Empress first if I want it.

Aquaman (2018) [Review]

SYNOPSIS:

Arthur (Jason Mamoa) is a product of love between Queen Atlanna of Atlantis and a normal lighthouse keeper. Being the first born, he is destined to be the King of Atlantis and no matter how much he wanted to deny his own rights, situation forces him to unleash his own potential and be the bridge between two worlds. In more simple and direct words, Aquaman doesn't want to be king but his asshole younger brother wants to start a war so Aquaman has no choice but to be king.

James Wan is an interesting director for me. When he was assigned to be Furious 7's director, I had my doubts because how come he who is specialized in making good horror movies is given the task to direct such a fun and action filled franchise? Well, he nailed Furious 7 as the action parts are so over the top and fun to watch. James brought the same elements into Aquaman and managed to take a different turn from other DC movies so far by not making it too gloomy and serious but instead, full of wonders and fun.

Okay, making Aquaman a surfer dude may not be James Wan's idea but he embraced it and fully exploited it. I love the concept because the Aquaman in the comics is too serious and kinda depressed about not wanting to be king and wanting to belong somewhere in the world sort of thing. Movie Aquaman just lay it out to everyone - "Hey, I don't want to be king. But if you keep pressing me to do it!!!!! Whatever, I'll do it." DC cinematic Aquaman is so laid back and cool, it's hard not to fall in love with him.

Going back to assessing the movie, as I mentioned, James Wan managed to make it fun by putting so much over the top action scenes. My favorite is the part in Sicily, Italy which is revealed in some of the marketing efforts before the release. Even though I have watched the scene before the release, it's just so cool to watch.

The action scenes also showcase Aquaman's strength as a hero. We can finally see how strong he is and how talking to fish is not an ability can be taken so lightly. I'm just so happy with the amount of work being put into the action parts.

Besides that, I am impressed with how Atlantis turns out. In the comics and animated movies / series, Atlantis has always been portrayed as a bit primitive with some spices of technology. In this movie, it's the other way around. Atlantis is so modern with little touches of ancient customs and elements. James Wan's Atlantis is like a mixture of Tron cities and Star Wars.

The CGI is tremendously wonderful. I love the Trench scene when the ship is being attacked. It's very Snyder like and reminded me of scenes from 300. As expected from Zack Snyder.

The costumes are awesome to see and pay homage to the comics especially at the later part of the movie. So glad to see the bright original colors are used on Aquaman. Orm or Ocean Master's battle armor at the end is also awesome. I love the face cover. Well, I don't have to mention how happy I am with Mera's. Honorable mention? Nicole Kidman. Phew. Man, she still got it. You know what I'm saying?

Of course, this movie is not perfect. The obvious flaw is in the script. I get that Aquaman / Arthur is a surfer dude with a vocabulary of a ten year old but in my opinion it would not hurt to give him one or two cool, memorable lines. I also wish they had done a better job at writing Mera's script. She's a princess for God's sake. Throughout the movie, she speaks like a bimbo but acts like warrior, which I think do not match.

Maybe I love comic book Mera too much that I feel conflicted about movie Mera. Amber Heard is awesome but I think she needs to bring more fierce into Mera. Comic book Mera is not to be messed with. In the comics, even Aquaman kinda fears her a bit. In this movie, Mera seems more flirty or easily charmed. Hey I get that Aquaman is the most manly man in the whole seas but come on, she's a warrior princess. I was hoping that she would have Wonder Woman's characters a little bit because when I think about it, both are quite similar in background.

Even though Aquaman is the main, to tell you the truth, I kinda fell in love with Orm / Ocean Master a bit. It's probably because the production gave Jason Mamoa with little to work with while Patrick Wilson has so many inspiring yet evil lines. Like I mentioned, they should give Aquaman more cool lines and not portray him as too dumb.

Lastly, I just had to say that I am so glad to see Willem Dafoe in this. He's awesome.

To conclude, Aquaman is a fun to watch movie as the action is over the top fun and the scenes are beautiful to see. Though, I expected more clever and memorable script.

Another One?

My children, Ubaid (6 years old) and Uwais (3 years old) have reached the level where they would argue with each other about almost anything. They are now driving one another crazy and it often makes me and my wife crazy.

Therefore, when people ask do I want another child, I would just say NO at the moment. These two are enough for now. No need to add more stress.

Don't get me wrong. I love my children and of course, there are sweet moments between them two. But whenever they fight, gosh, they can be so loud that it gives me headaches.

Then, when I say NO to having more kids, many would jokingly tell me that I should try having a girl. I now have two boys, so I should strive to get a girl now.

Truthfully, I do want a baby girl. I do want to dress a baby up with cute dresses and girly things. I know my wife would also welcome some girl company in the house. Furthermore, our friend Yaya just delivered a baby girl a few weeks back and now having a pair of boy and girl. My colleague and dear university friend is also trying for a boy as she already has two girls.

However, the way people tell me that I should "get a girl" is kinda messed up when I think about it. They are indicating that I should get a girl so I would know the feel of having one. It's like I now I have two cars and thus I should get a motorcycle so that I would know how would it be to own one.

Come on, man. Kids are not collectible items that I should strive to have all the pieces. Children are huge responsibilities and burden.

Don't simply suggest someone to have one for the feel of it. Having a kid requires a lot of preparation in every aspect. Financial, mental, physical, you name it. Raising a child requires so much strength and sacrifices.

So yeah sir, I do want a baby girl but I won't try to have just for the sake of having one. If I ever want another child, I would pray for a girl but even if it's a boy, I wouldn't mind. Regardless the gender, a child is a blessing. If I ever want another one, I would first consider many aspects. Am I ready for another financial burden? Am I able to handle another kid emotionally, mentally and physically? No sir, not right now. Not yet.

Yeah, maybe in the future. We'll see.

Stillness of Mornings

The sun is rising and my heart grows heavier by the minute. Soon, the grey and darkness will turn to colors and the living rise from their slumber.

I wish the sun would just halt. Please Mr Sun, wait a bit longer. I yearn for more silence.

Early mornings are my favorite time of the day. When I say, I meant very very early. Everyday, I set 3 alarms. 4.15 am, 5.00 am and 5.40 am.

I don't always rise up at 4.15 am. Usually, when the first alarm cries, I would dismiss it. The first one is just to prepare me for the real awakening.

Then, when the next one rings, I would wake up and then do whatever I want to do without any worries.

I guess that's why these early mornings are my favorite. My wife and kids would be sleeping. My colleagues, bosses and students would still be sleeping. No one would disturb me.

I would use that time to watch Youtube videos, write blog posts like this, answer surveys on GameTame or simply just browse bitskins.

Well, I guess it's not weird for a man like me to do this. I wake up early to find some solace, while other men prefer to just hide in toilets like this article states. I know many males who go fishing to just have some time alone. Men do like their peace and quiet.

When the last alarm booms, I would prepare myself to go to the mosque for Subuh prayer. Outside of the house, the stillness of mornings feels magical to me. It's so peaceful and I wish it would go on forever.

Oh well, looks like Mr Sun is not stopping. I have to head home now and wake the wife and kids. Looking forward for the first alarm to sound next morning. :-)

Bleach (2018) [Review]

SYNOPSIS:

Kurosaki Ichigo (Sôta Fukushi) is a high school student who has the ability to see ghosts. One night, a Shinigami (Soul Reaper) named Kuchiki Rukia (Hana Sugisaki) suddenly appeared in his bedroom and his house and family was attacked by an unknown creature known as a Hollow. Situation required Ichigo to take Rukia's powers and become a Shinigami.

Bleach is easily one of my favorite manga. Even after it suffers a downfall after the Aizen arc ended, I loyally continued reading it until the very last chapter. I have to admit, I had concerns when I learned that there's gonna be a live action movie of Bleach. Many manga/anime adaptations fail to capture the real essence of the manga and therefore I was worried that the movie would ruin the manga for me.

To my surprise, this movie is quite well made.

My first concern was pacing. Fitting in many chapters of a manga into one movie is tough and might result in an overly fast pace. However, the director clearly knew what he was doing. The pacing is just right. It is not rushed but at the same time, it manages to cover a whole arc.

The fact that the story line is a bit different from the manga helps. Yes, there are key scenes that copies the manga which is awesome but it is refreshing to see some variety and differences.

It feels good to see how the characters have room to showcase their growth and affections towards each other. The nice pacing gives audience room to really feel and love the characters.

Speaking of characters, I think that all of the actors and actresses did a great job in portraying their roles. I love Sota Fukushi's portrayal of Ichigo. Hana Sugisaki needs to be more silly when it comes to being Rukia but overall, she nails the emotional and temperamental parts of her.

The side characters are also lovable especially Chad (Yû Koyanagi) and Orihime (Erina Mano). Seeing these two makes me smile. They are cute and the bond between them and Ichigo can clearly be seen.

Uryu Ishida (Ryô Yoshizawa) could have been a better character if given more action and screen time. The casting for Renji is perfect. Taichi Saotome nails the looks and character of the gangster Shinigami. Lastly, Miyavi as well did a good job as Byakuya.

Apart from that, the action parts are very engaging. I love the part where Rukia trains Ichigo because the movements seems fluid and believable. They seem to possess fighting skills probably due to real life training.

The sword fights seem visually cool. Come on, Japanese katana fights have always looked cool. Attatatatatata hiyaaa! Slash! and the loser falls. Not gonna lie, most of the fight scenes gave me goose bumps.

The fight with hollows are also engaging but they're not the main focus. This movie is more towards Ichigo's fight against the Shinigami monarchy.

I definitely want a sequel because so far, I am entertained by Shinsuke Sato's work. My concerns for the sequel is the overabundance of CGI since it would take place of Soul Society. I am hoping that Shinsuke Sato would make it simple yet engaging by focusing more on character development rather than the visual effects like in this movie.

Stuck in the Middle

Today, as soon as I reached the office, I noticed that I was not wearing a belt. Luckily my pants were tight enough that they didn't fall down.

I also didn't brush my teeth because I just got back from my in laws last night and didn't have time to unpack my toothbrush.

My hair is now a mess and my face needs shaving.

I am a freakin' mess.

However, I managed to get my kid ready for school and I reached work on time so that is what really matters.

Right?

I don't know.

As the title says, I feel like I am stuck in the middle. The middle of what, you might ask. Well, the middle of everything.

I don't really care about how I look but at the same time I kinda don't want to look like a homeless person.

I want and try to do good stuff but yeah, I am also a little bit naughty and a truant.

I want to finish up some personal projects but I am so distracted by other things.

I have to be a dad and a husband and be a 31 year old adult however there's a child in me that is trying to come out at every opportunity.

I want to be a good Muslim and keep telling myself to be better and better but nope. The devil within is strong.

I want to be a good son but at the same time, there's this rebel inside saying, "Hey, you've done enough."

Do you see what I mean? I just can't go across. I am stuck on a bridge of self doubt and procrastination.

I want to move away but yeah I am feeling comfortable enough to stay.

I want to be selfish but it's not me. I try to think for myself but at the same time, I just can't let go of my responsibilities.

What is this? What the hell.

I think if I stay on this bridge any longer, it would collapse under the weight of my endless piles of unfinished projects.

I need to cross because I can't go back.

I wish I can go back. I wish I knew better. but if I go back, the things I gained during my journey would be left behind and I would end up with nothing.

Besides moving across and going back, there is another option. I could jump off the bridge into the abyss of the unknown. But just realizing about the third option make me think about my own mental health.

Am I suicidal? I hope not.

I mean, the thought of suicide looks kinda tempting. I am tired. A bit of rest would be good. If I could just shut my eyes...

No. Please no. I don't want to.

I have to cross this damn bridge.

MP5-SD is Dope

Look at the bottom right side of the picture. 12 kills in a row with the new MP5-SD! Man, this gun is dope.

I have to admit, when I first tried it, I didn't like it and preferred the MP7. But then I made a video showcasing the MP5-SD | Dirt Dropped (Battle Scarred) where I played Deathmatch using only the MP5-SD and damn, I slayed.

After that, I started using the gun more and more and now I just don't want to go back to MP7.

By the way, yeah, as mentioned, I made a video.

I love CSGO skins and I often go on Youtube to check them out. So, recently, I was like, hey why don't I try making videos myself?

The video is made using a borrowed PC (Yeah, I still can't afford one) and free softwares. For capturing the gameplay, I used OBS and to edit the vid, I used Windows Movie Maker. I think it's not bad and I'm quite happy with the result.

Anyway, going back to the topic of MP5-SD, I chose to get the battle scarred Dirt Drop. It was the second most battle scarred I could find on the Steam Community Market. The most battle scarred one was rather expensive.

I think it's dope that the scratches reveal some silver parts of the gun. Honestly, I don't like the Dirt Drop skin when it's factory new or minimal wear. Battle scarred looks way better in my opinion.

Valve has recently made huge changes to the game and I am loving them. Keep it up Gaben!

Tips for Buying CSGO Knives

SHOULD I BUY A KNIFE?

Hi. If you are still debating with yourself on whether or not you should buy a CSGO knife, welp, buddy, in my opinion, you should. Especially if you're a knife virgin, meaning you haven't had any knives before.

Why? Well, I would like to stress that this is my personal opinion. Firstly, if you're a knife virgin, buying or getting your first knife is an exciting experience. I remember buying my first knife which was a field tested Gut Knife Lore. I have been aiming for the knife for weeks and once I got it, I felt very good. Inspecting it in game made me smile like an idiot.

Many people argue that you should not buy knives because you hardly ever use it in game. Heh, that's bullshit. I use my knives all the time. As in the previous post, I mentioned that I play a lot of Deathmatch. So, in Deathmatch, I love to use my knives. Because there are many players in a Deathmatch game, people would be busy paying attention to their surrounding and engaging multiple enemies at the same time. That's why it's easy to kill with a stab to their backs. While they're busy fighting other enemies, I run towards them and stab them in the back. Getting a knife kill is always an exhilarating and nerve racking experience for me.

Besides that, yeah, I rarely kill with knives in Competitive mode. But inspecting my beautiful knives gives me warm and happy feeling. When I rush, I would draw out the knives so that I can go faster and that would give me a few seconds to admire my beautiful knives. It's like having a beautiful girlfriend. Of course you would stare at her and say to yourself, "Damn, I'm so blessed". The same applies to your knives haha.

No, I don't own knives to show off to people. I buy knives for me and not to impress other people or to show how rich I am. Those knives I own are for my own satisfaction.

WHAT KNIVES SHOULD I GET?

Again, this is my personal opinion.

What knives should you get? Well, it's up to you. Different people have different tastes. Besides it also depends on your budget.

The cheapest knives are around USD 35 on Bitskins which is the site I trust the most to buy skins. However, they look like shit. If you want some decent looking knives, you should have a budget of around USD 50. Here are some examples of decent looking knives that are 50 dollars and below being sold on Bitskins.

Yeah I know many dislike the rust coat knives. But in my opinion, they sort of look bad ass. When buying rust coat knives, you would want to get the battle scarred ones because they would be more rusted.

If the rust coat knives are not to your liking, I would recommend the stained knives. Stained knives also look good battle scarred because the blades would be darker which I think is awesome.

These bad boys are also awesome to get. I particularly love the Huntsman knives because they're big and they look mean. The ones above are well worn but if you're patient enough to browse through Bitskins everyday, sometimes there are also field tested ones that are sold for under 50 dollars.

I know many people dislike gut knives for reasons I don't quite understand. But I personally love the gut knives as they seem unique and for under 50 dollars, I think these two are awesome to get. The vanilla gut knife is rather interesting because it looks clean and like a default knife but it's not a default knife. You know what I'm saying? The black laminate also looks rather clean and bad ass. The battle scarred looks rather similar to the factory new and cost way less.

Okay, if you don't like any of the above, or you want more colorful knives, you must be willing to spend more money. Here are some suggestions on knives that are 75 dollars and below.

This is actually the knife I am using currently. It is my dream to get a Huntsman Tiger Tooth or M9 Bayonet Tiger Tooth but I don't have too much money to spare so I got myself the next best thing. Seriously, I love this one. Seeing this knife in game just makes me smile because it looks great.

If you're interested in dopplers, I would recommend this one. I prefer the phase 4 as it is blue and rather stands out more than other phases.

If you prefer green over blue, then the gamma doppler would be for you.

Want a bad ass looking StatTrak knife? Well, you should buy this one. It looks good and you can keep track of how many people you kill using this bad boy.

Autotronic knives are hands down uniquely bad ass and they look the same no matter what the condition is.

As mentioned in the early paragraphs, my first knife was the gut knife lore and I loved it so much. It looks so unique and awesome.

Wow, look at these bad boys. The Huntsman Crimson Web field tested is actually the second knife I bought after the Gut Knife Lore and I got many compliments in game for flashing it around. It looks like a blood covered knife.

Alright, so as you can see, 75 dollars would earn you knives that are more colorful. Of course, the more money you can spend, the nicer the knives you can get.

As I mentioned, I bought the knives not to show off to other people. I bought them because I want to admire them during game. Therefore, I really took my time to research the knives before buying.

Youtube has been a great help when it comes to making decision on which knives to buy. I just type the knives' names and there are tones of videos showcasing the knives.

After I finally determined which knives I wanted to buy, I spend more time browsing through Bitskins and other CSGO market places like csgoshop to look for the lowest prices.

My point is, don't listen too much about what people have to say. Choose the knives that YOU think look best because different people have different tastes. As you can see above, I don't prefer the falchion knives, flip knives and shadow daggers. Even though there are many interesting design for falchion knives. flip knives and shadow daggers, I would prefer to get myself the gut knives.

Besides that, don't rush. Take your time to browse through the market place so you would have the best deal. If you like simple designs with dull or dark colors, 50 dollars is enough for you to get a decent knife. But if you prefer to own a colorful one, 75 dollars is the minimum amount.

WHAT IF I CAN'T AFFORD A KNIFE?

If you can't afford to save up some money or ask from your parents to buy CSGO knives, I would suggest you to try GameTame. Earn points by answering surveys and collect enough points to buy a knife. Yes, it would take a long time. I am talking about months of completing surveys! But it's better than nothing, right? If you're determined enough, you would be able to do it!

I would not recommend gambling or opening cases. If you can't afford to buy a knife, that means you're a poor fellow and should not rely on luck. You would probably end up losing all your money rather than getting a knife.

BEWARE OF SCAMS!

You should not trade with strangers. If some dude comes to you and say hey, wanna buy my knife? Just block him.

I have been using Bitskins to buy most of my skins and I can guarantee that it's a trustworthy site. However, there is still risks in using it. Therefore, follow the instructions carefully when buying skins on the site. Before you accept the trade offers, check the bots and make sure that they are in the official Bitskins Steam group.

Bitskins is also a cool site because you can cash out your skins through Paypal. So don't try to sell your skins to strangers. It is a lot safer to use this site.

Besides Bitskins, I also bought some of my skins on csgoshop. So far, this site is good. The disadvantage is the number of skins on sale on csgoshop is far inferior than Bitskins.

Some scammers would try to offer you an interesting deal like they want to trade your knife with a better, more expensive knife. Don't fall for it. They would scam the hell out of you. Ignore and block.

Don't go into too many sites that promise free 25 dollars or 50 dollars. Those are also scams. Once you log in using Steam, they would steal your information and your skins. Just stay on Bitskins, okay?

I found that csmoney is rather scammy. After logging in to the site, my Steam account was sort of hijacked. When I noticed something is wrong, I immediately changed my password.

The safest place to buy skins? Of course at the Steam Community Market. However, if you compare the prices, you would see that the skins on Bitskins are far cheaper than the Steam Community Market.

So, yeah, that's about it. To conclude, if you want to buy a knife, buy the one that you yourself like the most because you would be using it for a long time. Don't mind what other people think. What's important is you like the knife. Then, buy your knife on Bitskins because it can be trusted and the prices are lower than other alternatives.

Tips for CSGO Noobs / Newbies. How to Rank Up and Get Out of Silver

Hello guys. First of all, to start, I would like you to know that I just started Counter Strike Global Offensive (CSGO) this year in February.

Therefore, you can say that I am just a noob. However, I ranked up today.

GOLD NOVA 4! What the fuck!

So, yeah. In around 6 months, I managed to rank up from master silver elite 3 to gold nova 2, then gold nova 3 and today, gold nova 4! I think this is quite great because I never expected to rank up so fast. When I first started, I thought that I would stay in silver for about a year or two.

Therefore, here are some tips that I can give to fellow noobs out there on how to rank up and get out of silver.

PLAY MANY ROUNDS OF DEATHMATCH

I love Deathmatch mode. In fact, before I hopped in Competitive, I spent almost two months (around 9 hours per week) just playing Deathmatch because I felt anxious about having to communicate with people in Competitive matches. It's a problem for me as I have social anxiety. I hate answering phones. Besides, the pressure of having people watch you play was rather overwhelming. Therefore, for the first couple of months, I just played Deathmatch.

Though, it's not in vain. Through Deathmatch, I learned how to control my spray, how to react when there are multiple enemies coming at the same time, how to check corners and be alert with my surroundings and how to use all weapons.

I usually just enable the random weapon mode so whenever I spawn, I get a random weapon. At first, it was hard because I hated the machine guns, sniper rifles and shot guns. But after all those rounds of Deathmatch, I can say that I am comfortable using all weapons. PP Bizon? Just spray and pray. Sawed Off? Close range body shots. AWP? Pfft. Just aim and BAM! One shot one kill.

I'm not saying that I am good with all weapons. I mentioned that I feel comfortable using them. Meaning, it is not a hard as I first started the game. I now know what to do with whatever that is thrown at me.

However, the drawback is, you cannot practice nades in Deathmatch mode.

DON'T SOLO QUEUE

Okay, so after a couple of months, I finally had the courage to try Competitive mode. Since I don't really have friends, I went in solo and it was terrible.

As a total noob, I sucked big time. The Deathmatch mode helped me with my accuracy. I found that I often hit long distance targets no matter what my weapon was. Though, when it comes to strategy and patience, I failed horribly.

As a result, I was kicked from matches so many times. My teammates called me cruel names and brought me down. I lost so many matches in a row and IT WAS HELL.

Everything got better and better after I met this guy. This Rishu guy who claimed himself as from Dubai was extremely nice. He saw my potential and helped me win many matches. He made my gaming experience better because in a world full of toxic silvers, he shone his kindness towards me. He praised me a lot on my skills and he taught me many things on how to clutch.

He was good in the game too. He helped me win 10 games in just a week to get a rank.

My point is, if you have a friend who is very good in CSGO, then play together with him. You will rank up much faster.

Besides, if you have a friend in game, you won't be kicked so easily since your friend (or friends) would back you up.

If you don't have real friends that play CSGO (like me), then look for one while in matches. When you found that someone who you think can carry you to higher ranks, then friend him/her. Be nice to the person. Drop him weapons. Listen to his instructions. Make some jokes.

HAVE FUN

As I mentioned before, I have social anxiety and having people watching my every move in game is nerve wrecking.

However, I found that if I don't really focus on winning, I would perform better. The pressure to clutch often make me panic and thus do stupid things such as peeking widely instead of just hiding when defending a bomb.

It was after a few months I asked myself: "Do I want to win or do I want to have fun?" Welp, I decided that I want to have fun. When there is pressure to win, I am more calm and thus I react more maturely in game.

Having chill team members also help. I have went through many matches where my team members were being so chill and fun. We cracked jokes and laughed at each other's mistakes instead of getting salty. When I have a chill and fun team, I would perform better because I feel less pressured.

PLAY CONSISTENTLY

What I mean by playing consistently is you must not leave the game for too long. Try to play at least 3 times a week. It is because you will rank up faster if you play more often.

A few days ago I wrote a review on GameTame which the best site to redeem CSGO skins. Well, there has been a few updates on the site and I love them.

First up is they have added an option where you can redeem CSGOSHOP funds.

Honestly, before the update, I didn't even know CSGOSHOP ever existed. Usually, I would just go to Bitskins or Steam Community Market to buy some skins or redeem the points that I have earned from GameTame. Well now, I have found another site that I can shop for skins and I am telling you, the discounts are bigger than Bitskins!

The weakness that CSGOSHOP has is the skin selections are not that big. There are many skins that are not available on the site. For instance, that day, I was hoping to redeem a SG553 Pulse skin but it was unavailable on the site. Most people tend to sell their skins on Bitskins.

Therefore, I settled for something else.

As you can see above, I managed to redeem $2.90 worth of CSGOSHOP funds from GameTame and then purchased a Sawed-Off Wasteland Princess (Minimal Wear) and a couple of spray paints. I am still waiting for the Sawed-Off as it is still in trade hold but I would get it in 2 days.

So, there you go. This is why I love GameTame. This update is awesome.

This is huge because ever since OPSkins got shut down, Bitskins has become the number site to sell and buy CSGO skins and it is also my favorite site. The downside though, 670 points for only $5 credits? Hmmm...

Okay, so there you go. Two major updates on GameTame and I love them. I probably love the CSGOSHOP update more though because it seems more reasonable. I think Bitskins has some kind of extra charges and therefore 670 points is for $5 credits. Even though CSGOSHOP has way less skins, doesn't mean that I can't buy some good skins on the site. I have already redeemed that beautiful Sawed Off.

I now shall collect CSGOSHOP funds to buy a knife. I hope I can do it. Probably gonna take me 3 or more months but we'll see.

Hey guys. Yeah, I know, I have posted a review on GameTame a few months ago but there has been updates that I would like to very much share.

Because of the Valve's trade hold update, GameTame has been changing many of its skin withdrawal system. Previously, GameTame provided options of redeeming OPSkins points which I loved since OPSkins was the best CSGO marketplace.

However, Valve shut down OPSkins for various reasons and thus forcing GameTame to change its withdrawal method.

Therefore, as of now, with the points you won by answering surveys and doing other tasks, you can redeem skins that have been bought by GameTame and available in its inventory.

A good thing about this is that you don't have to wait 7 days to claim your skins. The bad thing is the skins in available in the GameTame inventory are mostly shit. I love minimal wear skins and there are only a few of them available.

Luckily, GameTame now makes it possible for us to redeem gift cards instead of CSGO skins only.

As you can see, there are many types of gift cards available for us to redeem. However, my favorite would be the Steam Wallet Gift Cards since I would use them to buy CSGO skins on the Steam Community Market.

I have redeemed many gift cards and below are my proofs.

As you can see above, little by little I have been collecting money to buy skins. Well, I don't actually collect the money. I usually just spend them on low tier skins.

Almost all of the skins I either redeem from GameTame or I buy on Steam Community Market by claiming the Steam Gift Cards from GameTame.

If you don't like the Steam Community Market, you can also redeem G2A Gift Cards and use them to buy skins on Bitskins, the best CSGO marketplace after OPSkins was shut down.

To be honest, you won't probably be able to buy high tier skins and knives by collecting points from GameTame, unless you're very very patient. The only knife I have I bought from OPSkins months ago using some money that I saved. But low tier skins are also nice to look at. I redeemed a field tested Aquamarine Revenge from collecting points which is awesome. I love that skin. Took me almost 2 months of collecting but it's worth it.

So, what are you waiting for? If you're a cheap bastard but still wants skins, join GameTame and begin collecting points!

THE BEST CSGO YOUTUBERS

Last year in December, I posted something similar to this post.

However, in the course of these few months, you can say that my taste in CSGO Youtube content has changed and thus why I decided to create this one. Same title, but different content.

Okay, here goes.

MiBR tarik

Tarik "Tarik" Celik is a professional CSGO player. He caught my attention when he and his (previous) team, Cloud 9, won the ELEAGUE Boston Major in January 2018 making them the first and only American team to ever win a major.

Recently, he transferred himself to MiBR which broke many hearts but fans understand why he made that decision. It's really hard to not like tarik because he's a awesome bro.

The thing that I like the most about him is his personality when gaming. He can be goofy, bro-ish and funny while in game. I love the interaction between him and other pro players.

Besides that, most of his videos are efficiently edited where a whole match which may take around 30 to more than 60 minutes is turned into a 10 minute ++ video without skipping any important details and highlights. So far, no other pro CSGO players are able to do that. Huge props to tarik's video editor, Jack.

Furthermore, tarik uploads a video everyday. I love it.

He's definitely my number one now because of his charm and personality, nice video edit and consistent uploads.

LongBarrel

Next up is my boy LongBarrel simply because he's awesome in game and he also teaches strats and tricks while playing. I always learn new things when watching him play.

Besides Road to Global videos where he shows himself play, he also do tutorials where I found very interesting and useful. Because of him, my spray control is better now. His words = "Commit to the spray" also flash into my mind whenever I get a kill with an AK or M4.

Apart from that, I also like his voice though it doesn't match his kinda young face.

I am fond of his shiny blue knife. Always jealous whenever he flips out that beautiful M9 Bayonet blue sapphire which worth around 2 - 3k USD

Most of his videos are around 15 - 20 minutes long though.

TheWarOwl

Those who are into CSGO Youtube vids like me would totally recognize The War Owl.

I learn a lot from his videos. Because of his advice in one of his vids, I now try to enjoy each CSGO game rather than focusing on ranking up. Having fun is more important than winning all games which is an awesome advice.

I love his narcissism. The reason why he was not one of the 5 most favored in the previous post was because I found him to be slightly annoying. However, as I dove into more of his videos, I now rather dig his personality.

Besides, his video editing skills have matured and I love how beautiful he makes each of vids. The music, the marvelous edit, the story, man I love The War Owl now.

Fitz

Fitz remains to be one of my top CSGO Youtubers because all of his videos never fail to make me laugh.

Though he's no longer number one because his upload schedule is shit hehe. Besides, he also upload Fortnite vids now which I don't really dig but I still watch because it's fuckin Fitz.

He got second channel now which is also Fitz where he uploads jokes that are not satisfactory enough to be in his main videos which I love because it means more Fitz! Yeay!

TurboMotionZ

Last but not least, Turbo is now one of my fav CSGO Youtubers because he often brings latest news about the world of CSGO.

Though not showing any gameplays or make jokes while playing, I found Turbo's vids to be useful. He's passionate about CSGO trading and skins and always one of the firsts to highlight major and minor updates.

He definitely deserves more love because I just can feel how passionate he is in all of his videos and he brings up to date and useful news to the community. I love you man.

You might notice that Bucks, FakeJake, Houngoungagne and Kugo are no longer my top five.

Well, I unsubscribe to Bucks because he rarely uploads CSGO contents now. Most of his recent vids are on Fortnite, Tinder and Omegle which I don't dig.

As for the others, I still like them but the preferable level decreased for the lack of uploads on CSGO. Not that they're being lazy but they have their own projects and personal stuff to take care of. For instance, Houngoungagne aka Jeff has created his own matchmaking server which I think quite impressive. Kugo has been dealing with some adult stuff but he's hanging on there. Stay mighty Kugo! FakeJake has school and exams to worry about. I wish he would bring back the Meat Boys and do more comeback challenges.

Best Thing Ever (For Now)

My first born, Ubaid has been in pre-school and the best thing ever for me lately is sending him to school. A few months back, it was struggle. He would be crying and it broke my heart to leave him at school like that. However, it's now July and he seems pretty fond of going to school.

Well, at home, preparing him for school is still a daily struggle. There are good days where he would cooperate and things just go smoothly. However, most of the time, he's difficult.

Though, as soon as we reach the school gate, he suddenly pops up his charming smile. No more hugging and not letting go. No more running back towards me as I reach the gate. He's now all smile while walking to class.

I guess he finally made some friends.

Even when I fetch him from school, he would still be smiling. He often waves at all his friends. Bye bye! Bye bye!

I'm telling you, seeing my son so happy always makes my day.

I Miss My Abah

Ramadan sudah hampir berakhir and I found myself missing my abah even more. I just can't get this image of him sitting with me and the rest of the family together during break fast. His smile, the way he talked, I miss them all.

I miss his smile the most. I wish that I can see his face one more time.

I miss him so bad it makes me want to cry though I don't know why I keep the tears at bay. I wish I can just let go. I wish I can just be alone just for a while and not think of anything. Everything hurts. Everything is hard. Life is hard.... and I just want to see him again.

Abah

It was around 2.00 am and it was quite dark as the Lebuhraya Pantai Timur (LPT) were not lit by street lights. I was going steady 110km per hour and my kids were sleeping in their own carseats at the back. I wanted to go faster but no, gotta stay calm and focused. I was halfway from Port Dickson to Kuala Terengganu but the distance seemed too great to bear.

Then, the call came. "Mi, Abah takdok doh...", my uncle, my father's brother said.

Another call came. "Angoh. Abah takdok doh ni..."

I thought I couldn't cry harder before I answered those calls and boy, I was wrong. I just couldn't control my wet face and it got all distorted and my chest hurt. Though I didn't stop. I kept driving.

Yes, on the 18th of March 2018, my father, my abah passed away due to stroke.

A little background story, when I was in kindergarten, I think, abah had a heart transplant where his heart was replaced by an artificial one. Because of that, he needed to take pills to thin his blood because the artificial heart could not do that for him. So, whenever he had injuries, usually the blood would keep flowing until the effect of those pills worn off. Without those pills, his blood would be too thick that it won't flow.

There were a few times where he had to be warded just because of a small injury like his tooth fell off or a small cut because his blood could not form a clot because of those pills he took. The small wounds would kept on bleeding and bleeding until the effect of the pills worn off.

Keeping that into context, when he had the stroke a day before he passed, he had bleedings in his brain and lungs. Some veins ruptured and it caused some internal bleeding. The doctor could stop the bleedings with surgery but abah's blood was too thin, it would be extremely dangerous to cut him up.

I'm not a doctor and I was not there when the doctor diagnosed the problem but this is how I would explain it to everyone about what caused his death. Abah had a stroke and the bleeding won't stop.

My brother said the doctor told them that usually it would take days or weeks or months for a stroke to become fatal but it took less than a day for it to kill my father. The internal bleeding would not stop.

Because it happened to fast, I didn't have the chance to look him in his eyes for the last time and it sort of haunted me. But at least I was able to be there to give him his last 'bath'.

I arrived at the hospital at Kuala Terengganu at around 5.00 am and went straight to the forensic building. I gave my ma a hug. It hurt to see her hurt like that and I wanted so much to curl into a ball and hide my face forever but I gotta be strong for my ma.

She said to me, "Angoh dok sempat tengok abah tapi sekurang kurangnya angoh boleh lagi berkhidmat buat kali terakhir".

To tell you the truth, I was afraid to go into the 'bathing' area because I was worried that I wouldn't be able to appropriately perform my duties. I mean, I had gone through kursus mandikan jenazah before but it was a couple of years ago and I couldn't recall the procedure. Besides, it would be the first time I ever saw a dead body. Honestly, I hesitated.

Alhamdulillah, now I am totally glad I went into the room and mandikan arwah abah. It gave me closure. If I hadn't, I am convinced that I would have not accept his death the way I am now.

There were two people assisting and instructing us four brothers on how to properly mandikan jenazah abah which was very helpful. It went quickly and without any difficulty.

Even though the process of mandikan jenazah went smoothly, it wasn't actually easy for me. Semasa meratakan air di seluruh badan abah, I couldn't stop crying. I cried so hard, even harder than when I heard the news of his death. It hurt so bad.

I remember when the person assisting us poured water onto his face, I wanted to stop him. "Stop. You're drowing him", I was about to say. But I was able to control myself. "Fahmi. He's gone..... The water won't hurt him."

I also remember staring at abah's face and thinking, "It's like he's sleeping... but he's not." I cannot describe how he looked but yeah, he seemed like he was in a deep slumber. I... I don't know how to describe it...

I touched his skin... I touched his finger... My father... He's gone and it hurt.

Again, I would like to say, the process of mandikan jenazah gave me some sort of a closure. Yes, it was extremely tough but it was necessary to go through it. It was also a duty for me as a son and my ma was counting on me.

Then, the two people assisted us to put on the kain kapan.

After everything was done, abah was sent back home to Kerteh 4 in a van jenazah.

One thing you have to know about my father is, he was a friendly and helpful person. Because of that, he had many friends. When we arrived home, there were already so many people at our house just waiting to see him and wanting to help in any way they could.

The most helpful person was one of the neighbors, Pak Ri. Abah's death was so sudden that we barely prepare anything but Pak Ri handled almost everything. Thanks to him, the funeral process went smoothly.

Before Abah was laid to rest, ma allowed some time for Abah's friends and our family members to see him for one last time. Like I said, Abah had many friends and he helped many people, so people kept on coming to see him. It was wonderful and heart breaking to see.

Everything went smoothly. The funeral was without a hitch. Alhamdulillah.

At first, it was tough. But now I think I am okay. I do think of him like everyday and whenever I do, it still hurt but it's not as bad as a couple of days after he passed. I think that's why I am able to write this now.

To tell you the truth, I had regrets. If I could, I don't want to disclose them but I just have to vent. To tell you the truth, he was a good father... but he was not the best.

Maybe I am a bit bitter but I wanted more from him. You see, my family is not the lovey dovey type. We are not the type of family that would have meals together and share our feelings and experience to each other. I mean, we do love each other, but...... we rarely show it.

I couldn't remember when was the last time he hugged me.... and trust me when I say I need hugs from him, so much. I think I am also to blame for not asking to be hugged but I just wish so much that he would just come to me and hug me and just..... I need him to hug me.

We rarely talk to each other and I blame myself for it because I am such a quiet stupid dork but I just wish that he would spend more time with me....

Like I said, he liked to help people. Whenever there's a funeral or a majlis tahlil or kenduri kahwin, he would be among the first to help. He would help slaughter cows, siang daging, do this and do that for our neighbors and friends. I just wish...... I just wish that he would take me with him to those sort of events.

Truth be told, I have only been to three funerals including his. I didn't know what to do and expect when people started to carry his body to the cemetary. Do I need to be there? What should I do when I'm there? Help out? How?? It scared me. I just wished that he would just take me to help with all the funerals he helped and teach me what to do.

There are many times I blame him for me being such an anti social douche. He never prepared me for anything.... I am bitter because of that.

Whenever people of Kerteh 4 look at me, I immediately think that they can see how different I am compared to him. He was this great, helpful, friendly guy. everyone's bro while I am just..... me. This is one of the reasons why I don't miss Kerteh 4.

I wish he would love me more so I can love him more. You get what I mean?

I am also bitter that my brothers seem to get what they want from him (and ma) while I have to work hard and wait a long time to get what I want.

I want a camera so bad and waited so long to finally buy a cheap but satisfactory one but my brother was able to get an expensive DSLR easily. I have always wanted a gaming PC and my brother can easily own it and now enjoying himself playing online games while I am only able to watch Youtube videos of people playing games. HE PROMISED ME A CAR AND THEN GAVE IT TO MY BROTHER.

It's my fault for not asking for those stuff..... Me and my stupid quiet mouth. If I asked, I think he would give me what I wanted.... But it's not my style to ask for stuff.

Besides, all my life before I finally got out from Kerteh 4, I had been really good. He said it himself. Angoh tu baik, tak pernah lawan cakap, selalu tolong jaga kedai....... I had been an obedient child and therefore I expected some kind of a reward.

Where's my reward, abah?

I want so much to study arts and design but no... Jadi pelukis ni tiada masa depan.... THEN WHY MY BROTHER BOLEH????

Gosh.... I am sorry.

But put yourself in my shoes. I just want to be loved. I know. I honestly know that he loved me. I just wish he would show it.

Sigh. Guys. My dad, my abah was a great guy.

One thing I adore most about him is how he could turn his life around.

To be honest, he wasn't always a kopiah wearing orang masjid. I was there to witness his menacing side before he changed into a better person. At that time, my oldest brother was taken care by my grandmother and my other two younger bros were too young to understand. He did bad things. He disappeared, leaving me and ma to take care of ourselves. It was rough for me and I was in school at that time. When he and ma fought, I didn't have anywhere else to go. I felt so alone....

But yeah, he turned his life around. He started to change when he found Allah. People no longer see him as a bad person. Most people now remember him as the guy who never failed to go to the surau even though he's ill. People now remember him as the kopiah wearing, religious guy.

Yeah, that's the best thing about him.

There is a surau behind our house and he contributed a lot for it. He was in charge of financial stuff for the surau and from a small wooden house, the surau had grown to be so much more. According to out neighbor, Pak Ri, whenever the surau committee decided on something, Abah would never fail to find the funding. You want Coway water filter? He would find the money. You want to paint the surau? Abah would have the money ready.

I think Abah's funeral went smooth because of how much he contributed to the surau. Hopefully, as long as people keep using the surau, the pahala would keep on piling on him and his grave would be brighter and wider.

He was a great guy... and I wish I can be like him. I wish shine a welcoming aura to all people like how he did.

And yes, I do know he loved me.

My favorite memory of him is when I was small, he would take me to breakfast at a warung and we would eat nasi minyak and he would pour teh tarik on a saucer for me. Thinking about riding on his motorcycle with him to the warung always makes me smile. Occasionally, he would ask me to choose some random numbers for him to buy nombor ekor when we're at the warung. Haha. As I mentioned, he wasn't always an orang masjid.

Despite the nombor ekor, that is my favorite childhood memory of him. Until this day, I haven't found nasi minyak as good as the one at that warung. I miss drinking teh tarik in the saucer. I miss my abah.

Batman Ninja (2018) [Review]

Rating: Superhero fights! I would say that this is quite family friendly.

SYNOPSIS:

Gorilla Grodd builds a time travel machine and sent Batman and most of Gotham's main criminals to the feudal era of Japan. Batman has to find a way to defeat the enemies and go back to the future.

Okay, ever since I first saw the poster above last year on reddit, I was stoked. Batman is an awesome character and to be able to see a ninja version of him makes me feel so hyped.

There are two versions which are the English version and Japanese version. I have watched both versions and they're quite the same except for the languages spoken.

In terms of voice acting, both versions excel. All of the voice actors give their best performance and are able bring out the best in the characters that they portray. I personally love the English version of The Joker which is voiced by Tony Hale. Incredible job.

The visual and artwork are stunning. It's a fusion of western style cartoon and anime which I think looks amazing. The costume design of all characters are also awesome.

Fans who are familiar with the traditional dark and serious versions of Batman might not like this version because of the elements of anime. Honestly, the action is over the top and I'm sure many would think that it is too ridiculous to watch.

However, I personally like the over the top action scenes. It's probably because I watch and love both western animation and anime. The final fight between Batman and Joker is so awesome and nerve wrecking to watch. As one would expect out of a Ninja version of Batman, there are many katana wielding fights and Naruto level ninja moves.

In terms of story, it can still be improved. I would suggest making Batman seems more resourceful and strong as I don't quite like the fact that he has to depend on so many people (and other creatures) to defeat the enemies. He's in a disadvantage because he lost his gadgets and cool gizmos. I would like it more if he can single handedly defeat a giant robot using the only stuff he has. I mean, he's THE Batman. He is more than his gadgets.

All in all, I think this movie is great for kids and anime fans. The animation is beautiful and it is action packed. However, hardcore Batman fans might find this movie rather insulting because of the anime elements in the story.

I personally like it.

Last time, I recommended Skinsilo as the best site to earn CSGO skins by completing surveys. Sadly, I was banned from the site because they suspected that I am using multiple accounts or I am a smurf. It was a misunderstanding. I currently do not own a gaming PC so I have been playing CSGO using other people's PC. Because of that, Skinsilo banned me and I have no way of proving them of my innocence.

Therefore, I looked for other sites that are alternatives to Skinsilo and found GameTame.

Now, GameTame is similar to Skinsilo where you can earn points by answering surveys and other tasks and then use those points to claim CSGO skins and other products that they have.

Though, what makes GameTame better than Skinsilo is the daily free points. Every 24 hours, I can claim free 0.30 points. I know it's not much but it's better than nothing. Besides, if I don't feel like answering surveys, I can still earn at least a bit from the site just by claiming the daily free.

The cheapest CSGO item on GameTame is 9 points.

I have earned almost 70 points in two days just by answering two surveys. Each survey took around 10 minutes to be completed. I used those points to claim these;

The disadvantage of GameTame compared to Skinsilo is it takes more time to claim the skins. With Skinsilo, you can get the skins almost immediately however as for GameTame, it can take a short while since the process has to go through admin's approval.

Hi. Just want to update you the list of skins that I claimed from the site as proof that it's not a scam and it's worth it to try.

A few weeks ago, Valve made an update where the skins that are purchased can't be traded for 7 days. This has caused a long delay in the process of claiming skins. I now have to wait 7 days to claim my skins which I don't like. Below are the skins that I have not yet received as a result of the new Valve update.

SkinSilo: Best Site to Earn CS:GO Skins by Answering Surveys. No Deposits Required.

[Update: 8th April 2018] : Hi guys. Skinsilo has banned me because they suspected that I am using multiple accounts (a smurf), which I am not.
