Salam all, has been a long silence. Quite busy adjusting to new role and responsibilities, with all the headaches that comes along with it, ish..ish. Some of available tudungs.. The curly type tudungs like the green tudung below are best done with cotton jersey and matched with corduroy awning. For MTO, more cotton jersey colors are available; just refer to the "Sample Plain Jersey and Awning for MTO" link at the right side of this blog.

Some of the tudungs are also embellished with SWAROVSKI PEARL and swarovski crystals. The pearls are from Swarovski and are perfect imitations of natural pearls. Each Swarovski Crystal Pearl is created around a crystal core, hence the name Crystal Pearl. This crystal gives the pearl its ideal weight and combined with the Swarovski Pearl coating, it causes the pearl to glow from within. The luminosity and luster of the Swarovski Crystal Pearl are similar to that of real pearls. These Crystal Pearls are abrasion-proof, resistant to perfume, perspiration, electroplating, UV light and scratches. They can be washed and dry cleaned.

This year's Ramadhan is not quite as hectic as last year's since I had plan ahead when to sew the clothes and tudungs for Raya. Had finished sewing the Baju Kurung pahang and tudung raya for both my daughters. Finished all the MTO tudungs and currently still working on my son's Baju Raihan and Baju Rayas for myself. Hopefully can finish within this week and next week can start baking cookies for Raya. My children's favourites are Pineapple Tart, Chocolate chips and Almond cookies. I'm ok baking cookies cause I'm just mixing the dough, and the rest of the steps, rolling, baking etc are done by the children and their father, hehe.

Here are some of the ready-made tudungs available. What I like most is the shawl, very nice and beautiful. It's very soft since it is made of Cotton Jersey. Can be worn as it is or can be wrap on the shoulder in a cold office. Gorgeous!

Here are MTO from Aslinda in Canada, saja post cause I had not post any syria tudung with 2 colored inner tudungs before. As, here are your tudungs, enjoy it before you get it in 2 weeks time.

The inner tudung can be worn in two styles, one end is a 2-colored inner, like shown in the photo. The other end is 1-colored inner. thus you can wear it in two ways, and can be mix and match with different colored outer tudung as well.

Had been searching around for black telekung for quite sometimes. Found it but don't really like the fabric used. Went to Jakel and saw black cotton with nice embroidery and laces on the black cotton. Thus I decided to sew it on my own. Just finished sewing it and I'm quite happy with the result. It's actually my first attempt of sewing telekung, hehe. All this while, just bought the ready made when we went back to Kelantan. Now my daughters want me to sew their telekungs as well, hmm ntah bila la tu ye,..

My current project is to sew baju kurung, baju kurung pesak gantung n abayas for myself and daughters; and baju Raihan for my youngest son. had to start early, if not, wouldn't be able to finish it, just like last year Raya. My two daughters don't like the ready made Baju kurung, like last year's baju raya, they wore it only once, hmm..

The other two sons and my hubby, we sent the fabric to the tailor, dah lama tak sent to tailor, the cost to make the baju melayu/Raihan is RM100 each, so total of RM300 for the three of them, upah je tu..aiyoo.. so expensive. looks like next year I had to find time to sew all of their Baju melayu.. sempat ke?/ emm..

Many were asking for Tudung kanak-kanak. Here I post some of children's tudungs. The models are my daughters. They happily offered themselves as the models, hehe. Childrens tudungs are nice with corduroy awning, with small flower prints. In fact, it can be made from any type of jersey, as they wish...

My daughters normally choose themselves which fabric or pattern they like for their tudungs. The elder like normal type of tudungs, (Tudung Husna) the younger one like the syria type of tudungs, Tudung Nazirah.

As for tudung in which awning is without interfacing/bakrum (syria type, here I called Tudung Nazirah), the awning is readily sewn to tudung body, not 2 parts like syria tudungs. It is easier to take care, just go inside washing machine, without worrying the awning will be broken. Also suitable for school's tudungs, easier to take care.

Salam all, after long silence, here are some of the finished tudungs available.

Long wait cause I was busy finishing eight baju kurungs, baju kurung pesak gantung and abayas, all belong to me and my two daughters. Still got a lot of fabrics which had not been sewn, but dah tak larat la. Have to wait for the mood to come again.

The first three tudungs were sewn using velvet fabric, which are sold at RM140 and above for M length at certain boutique. My price here does not reach RM100 ye (even for XL length). The more pricey tudung is due to velvet fabric does cost a a lot more as compared to normal jersey. The rest are normal jersey and cotton jersey fabrics. Enjoy and happy shopping..

- done with curly finishing at tudung ends. Nice curls. For the curly design, the tudung was made with slim cut at the shoulder, so no need to pin at the neck or at the sanggul, to give nice flow of the curls.

Some of MTO for Tudung with Swarovski

Here are some of the MTO, requested to be embellished with original Swarovski crystals. These are the only tudungs yg sempat di snap picturenya, the rest are already sent to the owners. The cystals were fix on the tudungs one by one, based on the designs. Just imagine one awning requires more than 170 crystals.. to put them one by one, and have to wait for the glue to melt is really a hardwork. Thats why the price is expensive.

Thus for those who asked for cheaper price than what I offer, I suggest u to go to Jalan Tar, buy the original swarovski, sold by pieces, which is not cheap and fix it on the tudungs on your own.. don't buy the finished designed yg berlambak tu, thats not swarovski, its korean stone. I don't like the korean stone ready made designed tu, the finished tudungs to me, looks Indon sikit, not exclusive.
Even though its tedious work, but I love doing it, seronok, tengok and buat benda2 cantik ni..

Today we celebrate the birth of our Prophet, Nabi Muhammad SAW. Salam MaulidurRasul to everyone. I took leave yesterday, thus quite a long holiday for us. Salam all,
after a very long wait, here are some of the tudungs available. Only one curly tudung and one 2 layered tudung, unable to finish more, my time are so la limited,.. hehe.

Anyway for MTO, if you want different shade or color of the 2 layered or curly tudung, do let me know. Both are very gorgeous. The curly tudung are sold for RM99 at Pearl Haya and the 2 layered tudung are sold for RM250 at Ariani. The 3 layered tudung are sold at RM350 at Ariani. For me, I just do the 2 layered, the 3 layered, malas nak buat. Why? coz it's not easy to sew the crepe and jersey cloth together, remeh sikit, that's why la Ariani jual mahal kot..I'll put the 2 layered tdg in the next post, 1st Batch- part 2
One more tudung type is the Exclusive swarovski crystal collection tudung, the tudungs are embellished with original swarovski crystal at the awning and tudung body. the total swar crystals used are more than 300 stones with different sizes. Ariani is selling this at RM250 each after discount.. I love this, so gorgeous. In addition, the velvet tudung is available as well, for those who like something different, can try the velvet tudung, marvelous..

My current project besides sewing the tudungs are sewing the Abaya for me and my daughters, using Jersey fabric. I love the jersey fabric for Abaya, sejuk je pakai.. Ok, happy shopping, enjoy the tudungs ye..

Salam, quite a month since my last post. Every week busy with MTO, especially now ni tengah wedding season..thus no time to update blog.

Quite a few asked me to come out with the new design, like pearl haya 2 layered tudungs. I planned to do just that and bought the fabric already; now need to find TIME to start sewing it.. Here are some more awning samples available( actually there are more, but its too much, unable to put it all here..).

For wedding tudungs, can use brocade awning( normally used for wedding tdgs are brocades AD5, AD14, AD15, AD23, AH3 and AH4). DeZahra sold the S size wedding tudungs with brocades awning and embellished with swarovski crystals with price of RM250. My price is not as expensive as that ye..

For more casual and santai look, can try the corduroy awning.. I love the new printed corduroy, cantik.. If you seee the NONA magazine (August and September 2010 Edition), Pearl haya did showed their new tudungs featuring the printed corduroy which were very gorgeous, enjoy..

AB and AC; some are 100% pure Thai Silk, some are 100% pure Italian Thai Silk

To all muslims, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir batin.. This year, it has been a very busy Ramadan for me, With all the tudungs to finish and the baju raya for me and the children.. tup2 last night has had to buy the baju kurung and baju melayu for them.. coz their ummie hadn't been able to finish all the baju's.. sempat siapkan my baby's baju melayu je.. Here are the Wedding Tudungs made for a friend. She's getting married in this coming Raya. Very gorgeous in person, the brocade awning was embellished with swarovski crystal... She likes simple tudungs, thus the swarovski cystals was put at some spots of the awning, not at all over the awning. Afifah, semoga berbahagia, akak suka sangat u suka the tudngs...

Me myself, geram nak buat wedding tudung, pink colored, the brocade is very gorgeous, but what to do, the owner tak nak pink,.. nak buat untuk diri sendiri, kan terover la pulak.. hehe
