The Home & Garden Show will be held at Vernon Park Mall in Kinston, NC and is open to the public  March 30th through April 1st.   Show hours are Friday: 6pm to 9pm, Saturday: 10am to 9pm and Sunday: 1pm to 4pm.

(2)    Visit Progress Energy’s “Lower My Bill Toolkit”.  It’s an easy to read guide with changes that homeowners can make themselves.  Often in a single day. 

(3)    Sign up for a Home Energy Audit.   At Hutch Construction, we do them for free on doors, windows and roofing.  Just fill out the free estimate form on the site and we’ll visit your home and tell you where you’re losing the most heat, how you can fix it, and what, if anything, it may cost.

(4)    And finally, the easiest and quickest change you can make…Lower your thermostat!  It may seem obvious, but many homeowners leave their heat on while gone for long periods during the day or forget to drop the temperature at night.  This one change can make a big difference on your monthly bill.
