What a fun day Harrison had for his Fifth Birthday! To prepare we went to a few stores with Grandma to get all the decorations and supplies. That was fun and exciting

He started the day with a present from Mom and Dad. A new safe...for all those valuables! Then it was time to prepare for the party. Dad took the big boys (Lucas and Harrison) to Great Grandma Hutchings to shovel her driveway. That left me home to get things ready. That was a big help for me! Then Aunt Kathy and Grandma Richmond arrived to help. Not too long we started having guests arrive...a total of 14 kids in all! Big group but so much fun! First we played a few games, then sang to Harrison and ate cupcakes. Next it was presents, the best part for Harrison I'm sure. After presents the kids all went downstairs to watch a movie while parents started to arrive.

After his party Daddy took Lucas and Harrison sledding! They spent the afternoon doing that while I cleaned up.

That evening we had G&G Richmond and G&G Hutchings come over for a movie night! We used Harrison's Christmas gift (a popcorn machine) to make our "movie" popcorn. We also had root beer floats, yum!

Love this sweet boy! It's been one whole year with this guy and I still can't get enough of him. He's been so good. Just a regular easy going guy. He loves everyone and is so friendly. At 7 months he got his first two teeth. At 9 months he started crawling. Now he's trying to climb onto the couches. No attempt on walking yet, but I'm OKAY with that one. He's super ticklish. Loves his daddy and Grandpa's. Well he likes em all. His reaction is so sweet. Just squeals with excitement and dances when he sees them.

So he ate his cake (or giant cupcake). It was everywhere!! In his hair, ears and nose. He is my big eater. Can't eat anything in front of him without having to share. We enjoyed time with family that came to his party. We love you Peter! We couldn't imagine our lives without you!! Sweet Pete :)

Sweet Pete

Can't get enough of this face

This little guy is getting so big so fast, too fast if you ask me.

His lifetime accomplishments include....

*Mastering the art of eating/drinking EVERYTHING (except milk)

*Starting to crawl and so cute doing it too

*WWF wrestling...He thinks its a blast. Ryan has done this with each of the boys and they love it!

*Screaming (oh my ears!)

*playing in his crib and waiting patiently while mommy comes

*Flying in an airplane

*Giving kisses

We all love this little dude. The boys love to be with him and make him laugh. Harrison can be intense sometimes with him, but is a great helper for mommy.

The other day he was feeding him lunch and Harry wanted to help. I showed him how and was telling Pete "Here comes the airplane" then proceeded to make the 'airplane' noise. So Harry took over. He fed him some bites then says "Here comes the gun" then makes a shooting noise. It kind of took Pete by surprise. I was laughing so hard. It was pretty funny. Then I think the next thing he said was "Here comes the hot lava" Dork.

I took Peter to his 9 month appointment and looked over each of the boys stats. They actually are pretty close in height. Weight Lucas was less but surprisingly Harrison and Peter were really close on weight. I think what makes Peter look smaller is his head. Harrison's head was a lot larger.

We've had a fun filled few months!

First off both boys have started school

Harrison is in Preschool and Lucas in 1st grade.

I do have to admit its not easy getting Lucas to school. He doesn't want to go he wants to play all day. Once he's there he's fine. I do miss him while he's at school. He's learning a lot and his teacher informed me he's very smart ;).

Harrison loves preschool and talks about his teachers Alicia and Rachel. He loves to be dropped off at the curb and close the door all by himself and watch me wave goodbye to him. It makes him feel big.

Just around the corner we'll be having birthdays...December is Peters (one year???) Harrison is next and will be FIVE and Lucas will be SEVEN??!!! Hello, then the following year is a baptism?

He truly makes me sad to see them getting bigger, bossier and busier.

Next we have Soccer..busy but fun. Ryan is coaching Lucas' team and this is Harrison's first year playing. Lucas is actually playing this year by making goals and focusing on the game. Harrison is in the first year of it and tends to just run around the field...no ball contact.

Then the last thing I want to post is our Disneyland/Beach/California trip!! LOVED IT! We had such a good time. First we flew in on a Saturday....

My Aunt let us stay in her guest house which was a huge plus with the Kitchen. We spent FOUR days at Disneyland/California Adventure and few days at the beach. I know that's a lot of days there but.....I LOVE IT! Its on my top 10 for favorite places.

Okay I can't get ENOUGH of this little guy and his cute face. He is almost always smiling, he's so much fun!

Some of his major accomplishments in six months or just things he does....

**He rolls, but only to the right, gets stuck and needs help

**Started screaming/squealing (must of found his voice)

Fathers Day Weekend

We spent the weekend as a little family of five and making our way to Granite Creek. Its just past Wendover, which has a Hydro Electric Plant and a trailer is parked right next to it (on blocks).

Its real fancy. Actually its quite nice inside. In March Ryan took the boys out there with his Dad and Brother. My BIL spent most of the time really cleaning it up, thanks Bret! I think its a 1960 model, so its got the awesome upholstery.

The Plant is pretty cool to see too. It has a diversion (where the pipeline begins) up the mountain. Because of all the snow this year and rainfall the Creek was running really high and fast with a lot of debris in it. So Ryan had to clean it out. There is a Rancher that takes care of it, so she showed up after he worked on it for an hour and finished it up. Here's what it looked like before and after. Before he cleaned it out the water wasn't even going to the pipe.

The boys had fun 4 wheeling, using the outdoor bathroom facilities and just playing in the dirt and down by the nearby pond. Ryan bought some pans for panning gold. So the boys took a crack at it. Ryan and I couldn't believe how green it was out there. Lots of flowers had bloomed and tons of green grass out in the desert.

We couldn't keep Harrison and Lucas away from the 4 wheeler long enough. It was torture for them to eat some of the time. We had to hide the key when it was time to quit for the night.

Peter did just fine sleeping and eating like he does at home. He does love to be outdoors with all of us. This last collage is just of some of the fun we had.

We were worn out when we got home, but did have a good time.

Graduations

We Celebrated two Graduations this year. Harrison and his first year of Preschool. Lucas and his Kindergarten Graduation.

Both were entertaining.

Harrison did not sing any of the songs. He did all the hand motions.

He mostly just smiled with those dimples of his and stared into the distance. He's so cute, I love his personality. Some of the songs were about Peanut Butter, days of the week and a few silly songs. They played a slide show with pictures of all the kids.

Lucas Enjoyed his graduation. The night before, since I'm such a good mom I let him stay up and watch a movie. So during his ceremony he did a lot of yawning. Luckily it didn't keep him from singing. He has songs about the weather, days of the week and he even had a part he had to memorize. He kept on saying it each day, reciting it over and over to me.

5 Months & Family

Peter is now 5 months, what?

Things I love about my little guy...

-He smiles all the time, tired or not

-He's rolled over, only a few times though*phew*

-He face gets really red (well you know why)

-He makes this sound...kind of like a growl

-He is sweet

-He sleeps so good, around 10-12 hours at night

-He loves soft blankets next to his face and usually cuddles right next do them before falling asleep

-Such a joy in our family, everyone just loves our little guy

While Ryan was gone I stayed at my parents house and we had a lot of fun

playing with cousins, cleaning up the yard, watching movies and getting treats.

My SIL let me borrow her camera and I think I went a little crazy taking pictures. Its fun, I felt all professional and the boys just kept on posing. I can see how I you can get carried away and have a file of about 10 billion pictures. Here are some favorites.....

Easter, Mothers Day and more...

We had a great Easter with lots of Candy, Easter egg hunt with Ryan's Family and fun with Cousins.

We woke up and attended church. The boys looked so cute in their Sunday clothes. Thanks goes to Grandma for getting them.

I'm very grateful for my Savior. He died for all of us. I had the opportunity of teaching in YW the Easter lesson. Really made me reflect on the reason for this Holiday.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Hutchings that day and enjoyed a yummy meal and treats.

Mothers Day was filled with a wonderful breakfast made by Ryan, French toast my favorite! Lucas gave me a present from school. It said "I love my mom because she does laundry" (hey, someone noticed!)

We spent the evening with my family eating banana splits, served by all our husbands (gotta love that)

Lucas this month sold Cookie Dough for school. One of the mom's sent me some pictures of his receiving a prize for the most sold in school. He comes walking home from school with this HUGE PUG DOG in his arms...I just laughed when I saw him.

The last few pictures are of the boys taking pictures and the last one is of Ryan and his Brother Bret (their dad was taking the picture). They are truly Best Friends. This is the last trip documented where they went to San Diego and went to car show, another car show and ate probably a bunch of In and Out Burger and Wienerschnitzel.

Just cuz.............

I found these pictures on my laptop and forgot they were here! Now that I have a moment to think, because kids are in bed, I see these pictures and think this poor guy is now the middle child. I feel like he gets less attention and needs more love. Thankfully he has done amazing since Peter came. He loves him so much and will do anything for his little brother.

"Mommy, Peter spit up" Then he proceeds to clean up the mess.

He's got those cheeks, those dimples and is so ticklish, I love to hear him laugh.

He loves shoes, he loves clothes, he's got style.

Just the other day while he was in preschool I went and bought some new shoes for Pete (I know, new shoes for a 3 month old, but hey there were cute!)

I knew my Harry would appreciate it.

Yep, soon as I picked him up from school and he was in the car he pointed it out and said to Pete in a high pitched baby voice "oh Pete, you like your new shooooeeesss???"

Peters Blessing

What an awesome day! Ryan did a great job and it was a beautiful blessing. I'm thankful for that.

I had family there, lots of family. I know I am very blessed.

Peter is such a little guy. We're enjoying him and his sweet spirit in our home.

I honestly kiss him about a million times a day. He is so mellow and sweet. Lucky for me he's been sleeping to at least 5am every morning, sometimes its longer than that. Each of my boys at 3 months were sleeping like that. I'm grateful. We had a wonderful lunch after church and thanks to everyone for all their help!

I cannot believe it! 6 years with this handsome guy. We've done so much together! He's had a busy 6 years. We love you so much Lucas. You make friends so easily, you love to be with your little brothers. Your such a good helper to mom. Your learning how to read. You've always been so althletic. I don't even remember how life was without you. Sure was boring before you came along.

You have so much faith. You always go to your Heavenly Father in prayer. I love you so much! Happy 6th Birthday!

Peter's Birth Story

I woke up Sunday Morning, the day after Christmas. My water had broken!! Very exciting. At first Ryan didn't believe me. "Are you sure?" he asked. "YES, I'm sure!" We called his mom to come watch the boys. We headed to the hospital. On the way there I had a few contractions. By the time they got me "hooked up" it was 10am. We went for a few walks around the halls and would head back to the room so they could check on the baby.

When we got back my midwife noticed that the baby's heart rate was low. They were concerned. They gave me oxygen. We talked about the possibility of a C-section. I started to cry thinking about it all. As we waited his heart rate came back up. They suggested that in case of a C-section it would be best to get an epidural. I agreed. Time went by and by 1 they wanted to give me Pitocin to speed things up, since my water was broken. As we did that things did speed up. By 5 pm I was at a 6, then 530, ready to push! I was so excited to see him. He came at 556pm. My Dear SIL came to the hospital to take pictures for us. Thank you LEISA! And of course thank you COURT for editing them.

I'm so grateful to have this little guy here. We all just love him. His big brother Harrison especially can't get enough of him.
