Hutch Family Est. 2001

2014-05-30T20:47:00.001-07:00

It has been a busy few months! First off Ryan and I celebrated our 13th Wedding Anniversary! I cannot believe its been that long?! We spent the weekend on night at home relaxing and one night at a hotel downtown. We enjoyed just walking around downtown, eating at The Garden and just being alone together so we could talk and talk and talk!

The boys started their spring soccer season. I really enjoy watching them! Its amazing how much they change in playing each season. Its TERRIBLE but I only have this picture to document soccer! I'll do better next time!

As spring kept creeping by, the realization of summer hit and I could not wait for it to get here! We did enjoy some school stuff though. I went on a field trip with both the boys and Peter and I enjoyed one last day alone at the zoo together.

Peter and Harrison both had the chance to try out gymnastics which was VERY entertaining to watch

Lucas had his first Pinewood Derby, so much fun to watch and enjoy with him

I also went out to celebrate my sweet sister Kathy's birthday

This lady deserves only the best in life

At last but NOT least we are expecting a new baby! How am I going to do 4???!! We are so excited and the boys want it to be a girl. But we will see. We will enjoy this little spirit in our home no matter what!

Lucas Turns 9

Picture Overload ;)

Lucas, wow nine years? You made me a mom. Your my firstborn. I love you! It was a pretty scary time during those hours before your birth. But with help from the doctor and nurses, you were born and everything was just fine! You've brought so much light into my life. You have a great love for music (which I just love) We often sing in the car together. Of coarse your new favorite and mine is the frozen soundtrack. You excel in almost anything you put your mind to. Last year your decision to be baptized was an amazing experience. You often feel your Saviors love and have a very tender heart. Your best buddy is your brother Harrison. I'm so grateful for that. Each time I measure you on our "measuring wall" you have grown! You are loved by us. You are the first grandson on the Hutchings' side. With that you had the privilege of spending a lot of time with your Grandpa and Grandma and your Auntie Leisa. I feel there's a special connection there. When you were 2 you named your Grandma Hutchings "Honey" and it has stuck. As you get older, you have become my "buddy" I always have fun with you. Every time your with your Grandpa Richmond you wrestle. And the laughter never ends. You love the piano and I love hearing you play. We laugh together. You will always give me hugs. I'm lucky you call me mom.

Lucas- I love you!

There are so many things I can say about my Harrison. This guy was born 8lbs 24 inches. Yes he was a BIG boy. I sure love this guy. He has been my best eater and sleeper as a baby. He had the most hair as a baby and it truly was strawberry blonde. We shaved his head around 4 or 5 months of age, since it was falling out. It grew back in full force, electric force that is. It looked just like he stuck his finger in a light socket. There was nothing I could do to keep it down! He was such an easy going baby. He didn't feel the need to move for awhile. Not sure when he rolled over, but I know for a fact he didn't crawl until he was a year old. Then at 18 months he decided he'd like to walk. He's always accomplished things in his own time. He has been his daddy's shadow. He does everything like his daddy. There was a Jacket he had that was the same color as his dads. Well he wore that thing and I think he'd still be wearing it had I not stored it away. He loves to be in "style" and I just love that about him. He doesn't like going to bed without a hug for his dad either. He's been doing his hair since he was 4. He is my Fuzzy Buddy, Triple H, Big H and my sweet boy. He loves his brothers dearly. He doesn't like to do anything without Lucas. I asked him what he wanted for his Birthday dinner. He said Cheese Pizza because that's what Lucas likes. He loves his little brother and will do just about anything for Peter. Peter doesn't realize it now, but I hope he does when he's older.

I thank my Heavenly Father for sending me Harrison. He is a cuddle bug and I LOVE YOU BUDDY!

Dear Petey

Oh how I love you! We knew we wanted you to come to earth. I prayed long and hard for you and wasn't I excited when I found out I was pregnant with you! The day after Christmas was awesome! Such a great gift for me and our family.

You have turned into a busy little 3 year old! Some of the things you like to do...

You love playing with trucks and cars (especially ones that have trailers)

You want to go boating and tell Daddy to hook up his truck so we can go, sorry buddy its winter!

You follow your big brothers everywhere and I'm afraid that if they decided to jump off a cliff, you might do it too!!

Your a great swimmer

You love books

You love to ride your strider

You love going for walks in a stroller

You love your daddy and grandparents

You love your cousins

You've been a great eater and will try new things, I hope that continues!

Your goofy and silly

You've been a climber since you could move (you used to try and go up the wall before you could crawl, no joke)

Since you've been able to move more than your brothers, you've also received more injures than your brothers!

You have no fear

I'm so glad your mine! Here's to another fun filled year with Mr. Pete. Its fun to see your personality come through. I hope your as crazy and goofy as the rest of the family!

How do I begin??.....

2013-12-02T23:55:00.000-08:00

Blah Blah blah...yes you might of noticed its been too long....

We went on a lot of trips this year....

First is was St. George with the family which included biking and hiking

Next Ryan and I celebrated our anniversary by taking a weekend away. We first stayed around in Salt Lake Snowboarding for the day. Then headed to Moab the next morning to see Arches National Park. What a nice getaway!!

Once we got back we did some regular day to day things. Lucas was in a school play!

The little Mermaid Jr.

After that I was able to take a trip with my Parents and most of my siblings to California. We spent a day at Disneyland, then San Diego and my favorite part was visiting the old ward we grew up in. It felt so nice to see everyone there!!!

My Elementary till 4th Grade

Then yet another fantastic trip to California. Except this was with our little family with the Hutchings crew. 3 days Disneyland Resort and the other days at the beach of course.

Then there's a lot of fun to be had in between all of this chaos!

Boating, Park, Birthdays and much much MORE!!!

I hope to keep you informed from now on! Have a great December!

Lucas's Baptism

2013-03-18T19:36:00.001-07:00

What a great day! Lucas was baptized by his Dad and we enjoyed having these special moments with him. He was wiggly, smiley and overall excited for this day. He asked my mom, so after I get baptized I will get the Holy Ghost, right?

I am so proud of you Lucas for making the choice to be baptized. We had so many family and friends there for support. So sad I didn't get any pictures with Grandparents or Aunts and Uncles and cousins! I'm terrible at taking pictures. I should assign someone next time! Thank you everyone for joining us on this special day!

Has it really been 8 years? My first will be 8 and I cannot believe it!

It just a few short weeks he will be baptized.

He is very excited for this upcoming event and I am so grateful for his desicion.

8 years ago on February 12th I went in for an induction at LDS hospital. After about 4 hours of labor my little guy wasn't doing so well. He was in distress. To the operating room I went and there I waited to see if things would get better. After waiting what seemed like a lifetime, we finally decided it was best to have a C-section

The funny thing about this story... my ultrasound said (its a girl).

Well after he came he most defiantly wasn't a girl! I was so relieved, I had this feeling that it was a boy all along! Lucas Ryan Hutchings.

Lucas you have been a sweet and kind boy

You were a busy curious toddler

A tiny little newborn

And one (out of the three) best things that ever happened to me!

Happy Birthday to Lucas!

Harrison is SIX

2013-01-07T13:34:00.001-08:00

I just wanted to take a moment and talk about my Harry

He came to us on January 7th, 2007

I was a little nervous about having him because I had a previous C-section with Lucas. My hope was to not have another one. I was lucky and all went according to plan. After what seemed like eternity he arrived!

Born at 6:12 am 8lbs and 23 inches

It was a busy 2 years with Lucas and Harrison, but these guys are buddies

Something sweet that I witnessed was that first day of school after our holiday break was when Lucas was heading out to school, Harrison comes running down the hallway crying because he didn't get to say goodbye to his brother. Lucas had just closed the door to meet his carpool, but heard his brother. Opened the door and gave Harrison a 30 second hug in the doorway. Sweet moment, I could tell he was going to miss him after being able to hang out and play together for nearly 2 weeks.

Some things I love about Harrison

He can do his own hair, in fact he's been doing it for almost 2 years now

Loves to pick out his clothes for the day and put on several layers if he can get away with it

Loves his little brother Peter dearly

Since he came to the hospital he has been by his side often. He has his own little nicknames for him and loves to help mommy wherever he can. Peter in turn follows him around most of the day. He's his little shadow.

When he goes to a friends house to play, I get a report from the mom that he played well.

He loves his dad, he loves to work on anything with him. Even if he doesn't have a job to do, he will stay by his side and watch. Last summer when we put in our new yard, Harrison was right there, digging, shoveling, moving dirt and doing anything to help. He is a HARD WORKER!

Christmas Time...

2012-12-18T14:42:00.000-08:00

I just LOVE this time of year. Hot Cocoa, chocolates, family time, SANTA, The Birth of Jesus Christ, buying Christmas presents, wrapping presents, parties, SNOW and everything else in between!

This year Lucas was old enough to join the school choir! I loved watching him dance and sing on stage. He is so animated. Harrison loves our ELF twinkie. That's the first thing he asks about when he wakes up. Mom where is TWINKIE! We have watched some Christmas movies together, went to Temple square to enjoy the lights, spent time with cousins and friends.

Another fun thing that happens around Christmas is my BDAY! Ryan surprised me with a concert to The Killers. It was so much fun! I would do again tomorrow if I could.

Our little Petey Pie will be 2 this month as well! Growing up. Sure do love my little family.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

2012-11-20T14:27:00.000-08:00

I am so glad that this fine Lady is my mother

We spent a lot of time together when I was little one on one. I am the youngest of 7 children. My mom took me everywhere with her. While in my teenage years she had to work full time, so I was responsible for things around the house after school and required to also call her as SOON as I got home. When I became a mother, she was right there helping me. Long phone calls or visits, whatever I needed. With each baby she came to stay and help. She LOVES my boys, she shows that through her service and kind words to me and to them. As my children grow I can get a perspective of how much she has sacrificed for her children. I love you mom!

Some fun this summer

2012-08-06T08:33:00.000-07:00

I know this is way back in March..but we celebrated our 11th Anniversary..Kids were with family while we stayed up late seeing a movie, getting ice cream and eating some delicious dinner.

I start here because this is where I lost track...the craziness all started here!

For our anniversary we bought this beauty!

We painted

We explored Lagoon Trail after the crazy December Storm to see the damage

We took the boat out in APRIL!

Pete became a superhero

Boys went with Daddy on Scout Camp

Peter got into the dirt

I went on a much needed girls trip with my mom and sisters!

Of course there is always soccer going on :)

Went to Pineview with Cousins

We traveled to Page, Arizona to enjoy Lake Powell

We enjoyed the 4th of July with a Parade and Fireworks

I signed the boys up for tons of summer classes!

Lego mania, swim lessons, craft classes with Aunt Leisa, Basketball, Ice Skating Lessons and Adventure camp

We kept busy!

We took some of my family boating! Hopefully more to come!

Morgan, Lee and Brittany

Cherry Hill with my boys!

And now after the yard is FINALLY complete...we took a family hike together

We've had a busy summer! I know next year will be great too. More time with daddy!

Hope you enjoyed all the pictures!

Other things we had going on....

Watched my twin nieces Sydney and Taylor

*Peter is now 19 months...started walking at 16 months

*Harrison will be starting kindergarten in September!

*Lucas will be going into 2nd grade!

Crazy to think only 4 more weeks and school starts!

Enjoy your summer!

And its August!

2012-08-06T07:19:00.002-07:00

What a busy summer! So many things to post about! I haven't even looked at my blog or thought about it because I've been out there "living" it.

Well we've had a few things going on.

First was our yard...oh my what a job! My husband is such a hard worker. We started the project all the way back in April. That seems like a lifetime ago!

So for my records..here's the yard

Side Driveway..the beginning (we broke ground 4/28/12)

We brought in the real machinery

That way we could do this

Then came the major dirt pile...lots of dirt hauled away!

All the dirt finally gone

Then we tore our our old driveway and prepared for a new one to be poured

We dug out our old window well and replaced it with a new one

Then we added new curbing

And we also put in a new patio

Next came the sod

Then we laid it all down (with a lot of help)

2012-05-25T20:36:00.000-07:00

Hello There! Its May almost June and here I am with no post for sometime now! Let me think....There has been some soccer, some school and family events.
Dance Recitals, Birthday Parties, YARD REMODEL :S....
We have been BUSY living life instead of posting about it. Hopefully I'll get a post on soon. Maybe when the yard is all done I can post before and after pics of the whole event. It has been a fun few months! Hope everyone is excited for summertime. I know I am! Whew..no school work, which isn't much having one but man its exhausting.
Soccer is fun but I'm glad its over....Wrestling my 17 month old for an hour while I try to watch my big boys play...etc..etc. etc... Night :)

These past Months...

2012-04-06T13:00:00.000-07:00

What can I say...

We've been on a trip to Vegas

It was good times that included the following...

Swimming

Crazy Lady at Denny's

Visiting family

Fire Alarm going off in hotel at Midnight

Going to Coca Cola Factory and M&M Factory

We also have started our soccer season with Ryan as Lucas' coach and Harry still on his "first" official year of playing. School is going well for both the boys. Harry is all signed up for Kindergarten next year! I cannot believe it! Then Lucas in 2nd grade and in the afternoon it'll be just Pete and Me!?

We just went in last week for Peter's 15 month Checkup with our Pediatrician.

Here are the stats comparison.

Peter Harrison @ 15Months Lucas @ 15Months

Weight: 24lbs 8oz 50% 24lbs 14oz 55% 20lbs 14oz 10%

Height 32 inches 77% 32.5 inches 87% 31 3/4 in. 75%

Head Circum. 47.5cm 60% 49.3 cm. 95% 47cm. 50%

Its kind of amazing to see the difference. That Peter is more Harrison's size, but he doesn't look it because of Harrison head was much larger. No wonder Harry didn't walk till he was 18 months old. I don't think that will be the case for Peter. He is on the verge of walking, just needs the confidence to do it. He has taken a few steps at the most, but still just crawling around.

Wishing for this...

Lucas Turned 7!!

Wow Seven Years???!!!

Lucas you are truly your own person. You bring a party wherever you go. I love to tease you now and see your "teenager" reaction. Your growing up fast...that makes me both sad and excited to see whats next and who you'll become as you grow. Next year will be a baptism?! WE LOVE YOU!

This year you wanted to go bowling with friends. You also decided on a SONIC birthday. Wasn't sonic a NINETIES thing? So we invited a few old buddies, a new friend from school and of course Harrison and Peter.

Grandma and Grandpa Richmond came for bowling and later G&G Hutchings joined us for pizza.

Earlier that day Daddy took you and Harrison 4 wheeling. What a fun dad you have! If you can't tell he looks pretty happy about it all....

What a fun day Harrison had for his Fifth Birthday! To prepare we went to a few stores with Grandma to get all the decorations and supplies. That was fun and exciting

He started the day with a present from Mom and Dad. A new safe...for all those valuables! Then it was time to prepare for the party. Dad took the big boys (Lucas and Harrison) to Great Grandma Hutchings to shovel her driveway. That left me home to get things ready. That was a big help for me! Then Aunt Kathy and Grandma Richmond arrived to help. Not too long we started having guests arrive...a total of 14 kids in all! Big group but so much fun! First we played a few games, then sang to Harrison and ate cupcakes. Next it was presents, the best part for Harrison I'm sure. After presents the kids all went downstairs to watch a movie while parents started to arrive.

After his party Daddy took Lucas and Harrison sledding! They spent the afternoon doing that while I cleaned up.

That evening we had G&G Richmond and G&G Hutchings come over for a movie night! We used Harrison's Christmas gift (a popcorn machine) to make our "movie" popcorn. We also had root beer floats, yum!

Harrison I'm so glad your mine! Happy Birthday!

Love this sweet boy! It's been one whole year with this guy and I still can't get enough of him. He's been so good. Just a regular easy going guy. He loves everyone and is so friendly. At 7 months he got his first two teeth. At 9 months he started crawling. Now he's trying to climb onto the couches. No attempt on walking yet, but I'm OKAY with that one. He's super ticklish. Loves his daddy and Grandpa's. Well he likes em all. His reaction is so sweet. Just squeals with excitement and dances when he sees them.

So he ate his cake (or giant cupcake). It was everywhere!! In his hair, ears and nose. He is my big eater. Can't eat anything in front of him without having to share. We enjoyed time with family that came to his party. We love you Peter! We couldn't imagine our lives without you!! Sweet Pete :)

Sweet Pete

Can't get enough of this face

This little guy is getting so big so fast, too fast if you ask me.

His lifetime accomplishments include....

*Mastering the art of eating/drinking EVERYTHING (except milk)

*Starting to crawl and so cute doing it too

*WWF wrestling...He thinks its a blast. Ryan has done this with each of the boys and they love it!

*Screaming (oh my ears!)

*playing in his crib and waiting patiently while mommy comes

*Flying in an airplane

*Giving kisses

We all love this little dude. The boys love to be with him and make him laugh. Harrison can be intense sometimes with him, but is a great helper for mommy.

The other day he was feeding him lunch and Harry wanted to help. I showed him how and was telling Pete "Here comes the airplane" then proceeded to make the 'airplane' noise. So Harry took over. He fed him some bites then says "Here comes the gun" then makes a shooting noise. It kind of took Pete by surprise. I was laughing so hard. It was pretty funny. Then I think the next thing he said was "Here comes the hot lava" Dork.

I took Peter to his 9 month appointment and looked over each of the boys stats. They actually are pretty close in height. Weight Lucas was less but surprisingly Harrison and Peter were really close on weight. I think what makes Peter look smaller is his head. Harrison's head was a lot larger.

Peter Stats:

Weight 19lbs 10oz 35%

Height 29 1/2 inches 87%

Head Circum. 45.2cm 47%

Lucas Stats:

Weight 17lbs 9oz 10%

Height 29inches 75%

Head Circum. 44.8cm 35%

Harrison Stats:

20lbs 50%

Height 30 inches 95%

Head Circum. 46.4 80%

Hello!

2011-09-22T14:04:00.000-07:00

We've had a fun filled few months!

First off both boys have started school

Harrison is in Preschool and Lucas in 1st grade.

I do have to admit its not easy getting Lucas to school. He doesn't want to go he wants to play all day. Once he's there he's fine. I do miss him while he's at school. He's learning a lot and his teacher informed me he's very smart ;).

Harrison loves preschool and talks about his teachers Alicia and Rachel. He loves to be dropped off at the curb and close the door all by himself and watch me wave goodbye to him. It makes him feel big.

Just around the corner we'll be having birthdays...December is Peters (one year???) Harrison is next and will be FIVE and Lucas will be SEVEN??!!! Hello, then the following year is a baptism?

(Peter and Daddy)

He truly makes me sad to see them getting bigger, bossier and busier.

Next we have Soccer..busy but fun. Ryan is coaching Lucas' team and this is Harrison's first year playing. Lucas is actually playing this year by making goals and focusing on the game. Harrison is in the first year of it and tends to just run around the field...no ball contact.

Then the last thing I want to post is our Disneyland/Beach/California trip!! LOVED IT! We had such a good time. First we flew in on a Saturday....

My Aunt let us stay in her guest house which was a huge plus with the Kitchen. We spent FOUR days at Disneyland/California Adventure and few days at the beach. I know that's a lot of days there but.....I LOVE IT! Its on my top 10 for favorite places.

Harrison spotted Mary Poppins on the Parade route

He LOVED the beach and eating the sand

Mabel, Rafe and Pete

Cousins at the Beach

They already had Halloween up before we left
