Sorry for the delay. I thought I responded to this. It sounds like you have a frame rate issue. Maybe they're out of sync or possibly just set too low. Try boosting it up.

I usually work at 30fps because the match is so much easier than 28 and there is a negligible file size difference.

Been trying to find a fix for the problem for a few days, and this hasn't seemed to help. Mine seems to leave fragments behind any moving animation. Any help?

My first thought is that this has nothing to do with the conversion. Is it playing for 6 seconds and then staying on screen, as in a stop() ? - look check the last frame and remove any stop(). It should auto repeat unless something is telling it not to. Otherwise...

1. Check to see if there are empty frames at the end of any of the layers in your movie and remove them. Empty frames may still count to the total play length.
2. Export it as a .swf file and check to see if the file plays 6 seconds as a normal flash movie. If it plays as expected then I stand corrected and it might be the conversion thats screwing things up.
3. You can try to keep playing with it and maybe you'll get it - OR - open the .mov file in an editor and cut off the undesired frames. There maybe a minimum

Hope that helps.

I have been exporting my Flash to a movie and the timing is all off. I have it set to 30 fps at 180 frames on the timeline.

When I export, the time for the movie has extended to 30 second long and not the 6 seconds I had set up the file for.

Help me out!

Interesting idea, but I think in most cases resetting the browser default styles will produce the set you are looking for.
Maybe you add some padding at the bottom of <p> and <ul> for formatting, but really most of the time I just want to strip out the crap and let me write semantic code.

In addition to using a reset, I also have a "common css" class list I use in every project. Things like: text alignment, floats and clears, bold and italic font tags, I also have a few text properties on the font tag to keep things consistent (line height and color for instance). Below the common declarations I keep a hex list of every color im going to use in the project. I may not use every class in the list, but I know they are there and can use them at any time.
