Last Friday, I convinced my friends Jonathan, Clint, and Matt to try out Cajun Invasion in Franklin, Tennessee. Cajun Invasion, as the name implies, is a Cajun/Creole restaurant that has been open for a few months now. Because I’ve never actually been to Louisiana, I can’t really tell you what “real” Cajun/Creole cuisine tastes like. I first heard about Wild Eggs earlier this year from several friends and family who are residents in Louisville, Kentucky. Typically when a single person says something is “awesome”, you can’t help to have some sort of skepticism… but as I brought it up in conversation with each friend & family member, every single one of them ranted & raved about how good it was. Pizza has always been a favorite of mine because it’s convenient, filling, and delicious. Typically I order it when I need something quick but I also opt for it when a restaurant is known for their delicious pies. Over the past decade, I’ve experienced the joy of dining at churrascarias (Brazilian steakhouses) on multiple occasions across the United States. They are, in my opinion, one of the best places to eat if you have any love for fire-roasted meats. Nashville’s Burger Up In Some Aspects, Burger Down In Others

In the recent weeks, I’ve started hearing a lot about a hamburger restaurant called Burger Up located in 12th Avenue South area of Nashville. Words like “upscale” and “fancy” usually accompanied the description I heard from others. To most, that phrase might seem strange when describing a hamburger restaurant but not to me… late last fall I got the opportunity to dine at one of the true gourmet burger joints called Flip Burger Boutique. Since Flip Burger Boutique was now my new benchmark for upscale burgers, I was intrigue on how Burger Up would stack up to the competition.
