Comics Legend Gene Colan Passes Away at Age 84
Writer Clifford Meth has shared the sad news that legendary comics artist Gene Colan passed away today, at age 84. According to Meth, Gene spent this last week in a quasi-coma state following a broken hip and complications from liver disease. I am honestly a little lost for words. This is devastating news. Looks like I missed this news on Monday, but Variety are reporting that vfx company Rhythm & Hues Studios is planning to adapt the first volume of Jeff Lemire’s Essex County trilogy, Tales From the Farm, into a feature film.
