Each Paka Paka mystery figure is hidden inside a globe-like package and customers will never know what Paka Paka item they are about to get until they open the globe.

Funko has revealed four new lines that are all available for pre-order now for the same price of $5.99, but customers will have to wait five more months because the shipping date is set for July 20.

The first line in the second series of Funko Paka Paka collectibles is called the Paka Paka: Twisted Treats, a line that consists of sweet delights such as a donut, an upside-down ice cream cone, a caramel apple, a banana split, a sundae, popsicle twins, a birthday cake, a cupcake and more. However, these sweets are not as cute as you think as they look a bit spooky — the cupcakes and the caramel apple are riddled with icky worms, which is probably why they are called the Twisted Treats.

The second line, called the Funko Paka Paka: Toilet Ninja collection, is a set of collectibles that feature a tiny ninja inside a toilet. They even glow in the dark!

Meanwhile, the Funko Paka Paka: Boo Hollow set features some of the most popular Halloween costumes or characters that we alway see. The collection includes spooky cat action figures, an old tree, a skeleton boy, a witch and more.

The fourth line of the series two is the Funko Paka Paka: Cloud Cats collection, which consists of stout cat action figures that look like clouds. If you’re lucky, you can catch three of them with rainbows.

All of these Paka Paka mystery action figures stand 2.5 inches tall, just like the first series. Each collection also features a rare dragon figure. Collect them all as soon as they launch in July.

Earlier, Funko unveiled its new Paka Paka blind capsule line of collectibles that offer cute action figures enclosed inside capsules.

Now, at the 2020 New York Toy Fair, Funko unveiled its new patent pending snap-and-match technology that allows children to snap-and-match and create thousands of variations of new toys called Snapsies.

Each snap creates a custom Snapsie character such as rock star unicorn Jett, super-athletic mountain goat Billie, and hedgehog Boe, the baker.

At the Toy Fair in the Jarvis Center, attendees are able to grab a Snapie through the touchscreen-display retail machine that also offers an immersive view of the world of Snapsies through video shorts created by Funko Animation Studios.

“Funko is taking our experience in pop culture and entertainment licensed merchandise and bringing it to the toy aisle with an innovative delivery system and product line that will engage kids and increase dwell time at retail,” Funko CEO Brian Mariotti said in a statement.

Funko has yet to announce the pricing of the Snapsies or when they will be available at retail outlets. Follow I4U News for all the updates surrounding these cute new action figures.

The new YULU toys include the suspense game Popcorn Poppin’, the fast-paced, electronic board breaking game Break the Board; the retro-cool craft activity Swirl & Style Tie Dye Studio Maker and the popping surprise collectible bling Pop Pops Blingz.

Popcorn Poppin’ is a game that lets players pass the popcorn bucket before the popcorn pops. Players will have to activate the timer and as it counts down, they will have to follow the instructions from the pop-up die and pass the popcorn as fast as they can. This game is recommended for players ages 4 and up. It will sell for $14.99.

In Break the Board, players will aim to literally break the wooden board just like in martial arts. There are four game modes to choose from - Level Up, Competition, Trainer, and Freestyle. Players will be given instructions to quickly chop, swipe and strike through 10 challenging levels. It is recommended for kids ages 6 and up and it will retail for $19.99 starting in the fall.

Another game by YULU, called Diamond Heist, is a cooperative game where players ages 6 and up will have to work together to win or risk being caught. The goal is to retrieve the diamond that was stolen by an evil organization. It will retail at $19.99 starting this fall.

In addition to fun games, YULU will also be releasing two new toys this year: the Swirl & Style Tie Dye Studio Maker that lets children unleash their imagination and creativity as they create their own tie-dye designs. The set will retail at $19.99 starting this spring and it is designed for users ages 6 and up.

YULU has also unveiled the new Pop Pops Blingz at the Toy Fair, the latest addition to the toymaker’s line of Pop Pops. In Pop Pops Blingz, kids will enjoy confetti ooze, bubble popping and the hunt for surprise collectibles. Pop Pops Blingz will be sold in mini packs for $2.99, starter packs for $4.99 and mega packs for $9.99. It will be available starting this fall.

Attendees at the Toy Fair will be able to witness all these new games and toys from YULU at booth #1765 in the Jarvis Center.

The toymaker unveiled its 2020 line at this year’s North American International Toy Fair in New York, which kicked off on Saturday, February 22.

This year, Spin Master is expanding its line of adorable Hatchimals collectibles with the upcoming launch of the Hatchimals Pixies Crystal Flyers, a line of Hatchimals Pixie dolls that can actually fly. They are enclosed inside a gorgeous crystal egg. Hatchimals Pixies Crystal Flyers includes a USB charger to power up their flying skills. When they are not on flight, they can be displayed insider their sparkly, clear crystal egg. 

The Hatchimals Pixies Crystal Flyers will be available starting in the fall at $29.99. They are recommended for kids ages 5 and up.

Spin Master will also release new Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Cosmic Candy collectibles that offer an amazing new way to hatch Hatchimals. Kids as young as 5 can peel off the Cosmic Candy’s heart to find a hint as to who is hidden inside the egg. The Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Cosmic Candy will sell for between $2.99 and $19.99 starting this fall.

Earlier, we have reported about the new VTech digital video camera called KidiZoom Creator Cam and new additions to the Myla’s Sparkling Friends collection. 

In addition to all those, VTech has unveiled new toys for babies, infants and toddlers at the 2020 Toy Fair, which kicked off earlier.

The new toys include a three-feet tall two-in-one Go! Go! Smart Wheels Ultimate Corkscrew Tower that kids ages 1 to 5 can race their toy cars in. The playset includes two exciting race configuration, as well as five SmartPoint locations. It also includes Rocky the Race Car. Parents can help kids stack the towers atop one another to form a 36-inch-high corkscrew track for dizzy downhill fun.

VTech has also launched its new Count & Win Sports Center, which is designed as a hybrid basketball net and a soccer goal, all in one. The play set has a friendly goalie that will cheer the kids up with encouraging phrases and sounds. 

It is designed to teach young children basic counting. It even features buttons to press, gears that turn and a trophy that slides up and down. The VTech Count & Win Sports Center also features more than 65 songs, melodies, sounds and phrases that teach kids everything about shapes, colors, numbers and good sportsmanship.

The Count & Win Sports Center is recommended for babies and toddlers ages 12-36 months.

Another fun playset that VTech has taken to the 2020 Toy Fair is the Jiggle & Giggle Fishing Set that is made for kids ages 2 to 5 years old. This playset lets young children play fishing as they pretend to cast the line into the pretend sea. The animal wiggles and jiggles when the magnetic bobber connects to them. It even comes with a storage bucket where kids can put in their catch.

VTech has also introduced its new Explore & Crawl Elephant that encourages babies ages 6 to 3 months to crawl and walk. The elephant has ears that flap and a bright, light-up star.

The new Helping Heroes Fire Station was also launched at the Toy Fair for toddlers ages 1½-4 years. The playset lets them role-play firefighters Fiona and Frankie in a fire truck that converts to a fire station.

The company has revealed at the annual Toy Fair in New York its latest line of collectible kits called the LEGO DOTS, which lets kids have fun as they create arts and crafts with the use of 2D tiles in multiple shapes, colors and patterns.

“LEGO DOTS is one of most exciting innovations for 2020, translating our commitment to creativity into arts and crafts materials designed to cater to today’s kids’ needs for creative exploration and self-expression,” LEGO Systems President Skip Kodak said in a statement.

The LEGO DOTS consist of colorful pieces that kids can build together to create functional and wearable products like pencil holders, picture frames, jewelry holders and bracelets.

There are over 30 brand new mood tiles that will be part of the LEGO DOTS collection. These can be incorporated into fun wearable accessories like bracelets.

The launch of the LEGO DOTS follows months of research that found that children are looking to shape their creative confidence through more personalized forms of play, LEGO said.

“What we found is that some children prefer to use decorative arts and crafts to express themselves creatively. And until now, we have had limited products that catered for this specific audience and passion,” LEGO DOTS lead designer Amy Corbett said.

LEGO created the LEGO DOTS with London-based artist Camille Walala, who used the LEGO DOTS in a free, two-day interactive public art installation at Coal Drops Yard in London’s Kings Cross called HOUSE OF DOTS.

Now, LEGO is bringing the LEGO DOTS to North America before its global launch.

At the moment, LEGO has listed on its website some of the first LEGO DOTS items to collect including a Rainbow Bracelet, a Funky Animals Bracelet, a Cosmic Wonder Bracelet, a Sparkly Unicorn Bracelet, a Love Birds Bracelet, a Rainbow Jewelry Stand, a Pineapple Pencil Holder, Animal Picture Holders and more.

The bracelets are priced at $4.99, while the Rainbow Jewelry Stand costs $14.99. The Pineapple Pencil Holder will sell for $19.99 and the Animal Picture Holders cost $14.99. The LEGO DOTS will be available for purchase starting March 1.

Attendees to the 2020 New York Toy Fair can catch the new LEGO DOTS alongside all the new LEGO toys at the Jarvis Center from February 22 to 25.

One of the new toys is the KidiZoom Creator Cam, a digital video camera that is able to capture high-definition videos. It’s ideal for kids who dream of becoming influencers one day. Kids can practice their video editing skills with the KidiZoom Creator Cam as it is complete with basic editing capabilities and a green screen to create amazing special effects.

There are more than 20 included animated backgrounds that kids can switch to. They can even use it for selfies. KidiZoom Creator Cam is created for kids ages 5 and up. Parents can upload and share their videos via the included USB cable. The camera itself has a microSD card slot that can support memory cards of up to 32GB.

VTech's KidiZoom Creator Cam is the latest addition to VTech's line of cameras for kids. The manufacturer already offers the VTech KidiZoom Duo DX Digital Selfie Camera with MP3 Player that is packed with dual high-resolution cameras, as well as the VTech KidiZoom Action Cam HD, an action camera that is ideal for adventures on land or in water. 

Aside from the digital camera toy, VTech is also introducing new additions to the Myla’s Sparkling Friends collection. It follows the release of Myla the Magical Unicorn during the 2019 Toy Fair.

The new collection includes Mia the Unicorn and Finn the Fox, both are friends of Myla the Magical Unicorn. There will be a total of six new toys in the Myla’s Sparkling Friends collection including a fox, unicorn, peacock, dragon and more.

All of Myla’s Sparkling Friends respond with more than 100 fun, magical responses and reveal a lucky color and change colors to match. They are recommended for kids ages 4 and up.

“We really wanted to capture what made Myla so special, and adding Myla’s Sparkling Friends offers a fun, fresh take on color play at a great giftable price point,” VTech Electronics North America President Andy Keimach said in a statement.

VTech has yet to reveal the pricing for these new toys, but attendees to the 2020 New York Toy Fair can witness how they work at meeting rooms 1C03 and 1C04 at the Jarvis Center from February 22 to 25.

The award was given during the kickoff event for the 117th Toy Fair New York.

It comes as no surprise as MGA Entertainment consistently rolls out new additions to the L.O.L. Surprise! collection, letting children unbox the most exciting dolls and doll accessories. 

Aside from winning the Toy of the Year award, L.O.L. Surprise! also bagged the Collectible Toy of the Year award for the L.O.L Surprise! Winter Disco series and the Doll of the Year award for the L.O.L Surprise! O.M.G dolls.

Last year, MGA Entertainment also won Doll of the Year for the L.O.L. Surprise! Eye Spy Under Wraps, Playset Toy of the Year for the L.O.L. Surprise! House and License of the Year for the L.O.L. Surprise! collection.

Just recently, LEGO has unveiled new building kits featuring two of the most iconic characters on the TV show. It’s the new LEGO BrickHeadz Star Wars The Mandalorian & The Child Building Kit that comes with 295 pieces of LEGO bricks to build.

The building kit is now available for pre-order at only $19.99 on Amazon.com. It is slated for release on August 1.

Fans will love the details that are included in the BrickHeadz including The Mandalorian’s signature weapons, a blaster rifle and a blaster pistol to relive some of the scenes from The Mandalorian TV show. The Mandalorian stands 3 inches tall.

The Ricky Zoom-themed toys will debut at the 2020 New York Toy Fair this weekend. The line includes the Lights and Sounds Ricky and Ricky’s House Playset. They will initially be sold exclusively at Walmart and on Walmart.com starting this March in the U.S. before it rolls out to other retail outlets beginning in June.

The Lights and Sounds Ricky of the Ricky Zoom line by TOMY features articulated and moving wheels, and a light up visor. It even plays bike sounds and character phrases from the show.

TOMY is also releasing Ricky’s House Playset, which is designed to look like the Zoom family’s residence in the TV show. It comes packed with sounds and other surprises including a bike launcher, bike tire check station, two unique Ricky accessories, a rotating exploration platform, elevator functions and action ramps. 

Kids will also be thrilled to find articulated Ricky and Toot figures in the Ricky’s House Playset.

“The entire line was designed to bring the show to life, and it was important that all of its features were representative of it. From the sounds to the functional accessories, we’re bringing the show directly into kids’ playrooms,” TOMY Chief Brand & Commercial Officer Vinnie D’Alleva said in a statement.

The announcement was made in the lead up to the annual Toy Fair in New York, which is kicking off tomorrow, February 22.

The compostable balls will be made with a new patent-pending compound that takes care of the degradation of plastic in landfill conditions, MGA Entertainment said.

The company’s founder and CEO Isaac Larian, in a statement, said: “I have assembled an in-house team that is 100 percent focused on identifying the best innovative and eco-friendly options to use in our toys.”

Additionally, MGA Entertainment has also expanded its existing partnership with innovative waste management company TerraCycle by adding nine new countries to the program. 

Under MGA Entertainment’s partnership with TerraCycle, which was announced last year, allows consumers to sign up to a recycling program for free in order to obtain a free shipping label where they can send their L.O.L. Surprise! waste to TerraCycle.

“Beginning 2021, the entire L.O.L Surprise! packaging line will be completely degradable,” Larian said. Ahead of that, the company said starting this summer, all L.O.L Surprise! accessory bags will be paper based, and any packaging made from resin will be degradable and include new compound. 

In addition to its green initiative for the L.O.L Surprise!, MGA Entertainment has also announced that it will be rolling out a new product line from another company-owned brand, Little Tikes.

Little Tikes will be unveiling a new line that will be 100% made from post-consumer and post-industrial resin. The Little Tikes "Go Green" product line will be available starting in the fall, particularly on Earth Day.

Little Tikes Go Green will initially have four products to mark its launch before rolling out new additions throughout 2020 and beyond. Little Tikes has created a new logo for the Go Green collection.

“Beginning 2025, MGAE will only manufacture products that will degrade when disposed of properly,” Larian said.

In an interview with Bustle, Hasbro’s Vice President for Global Brand Strategy & Marketing Julien McCluney said “the fact that so many adults reminisce about the original [game] more than 30 years after its initial release speaks volumes to its place in pop culture!”

The 2020 Mall Madness Game is the fourth upgrade from the original game released in 1988. Bustle noted that Hasbro re-released new versions in 1989, 1996, and 2004. Hasbro even offered Hannah Montana and Littlest Pet Shop-themed Mall Madness board games.

In the latest version, players will control their tokens as they move around a 3D gameboard that features 22 locations on 2 floors including a nail salon, candy store, jewelry store, arcade, shoe store, electronics store, and a toy store. The board even has an ATM section where players can withdraw cash, just like in an actual mall.

The highlight of Hasbro’s Mall Madness Game is its talking electronic button that has sound effects whenever a player purchases something. It also tells players when it’s time to move and alerts everybody if there’s a surprise clearance sale, among others.

Now that gaming companies are relaunching their old consoles for customers who would love to feel a little nostalgia, Hasbro is joining in the retro trend with the re-release of the Tiger Electronics LCD handheld games.

At the moment, you can pre-order all four of them on GameStop.com, all for just $14.99.

The options include The Little Mermaid, Transformers: Generation 2, X-Men Project X, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Unlike the modern gaming devices that support multiple games and even offer cloud gaming, the Tiger games only offer one game for each device.

Hasbro told The Verge that the design of these four Tiger handheld games took inspiration from the original ones back in the ‘90s.

“The design and technology were created with the original handheld game unit in mind,” Hasbro reportedly said.

The date of the release of these devices are unavailable on GameStop, but according to The Verge, they will start shipping in the fall.

This time, Hasbro has picked the popular game Halo, which, just like Fortnite, has also gained a massive following over the recent years.

Halo is a military science fiction game that has been around since 2001. Now, Hasbro has partnered with the game’s developer, 343 Industries, to launch Halo-themed NERF blasters.

Hasbro has secured the license to manufacture a the NERF Halo MA40 Blaster and NERF Halo MicroShots and they are inspired by the weapons on Halo.

The NERF Halo MA40 Blaster is a motorized, semi-automatic blaster that includes a 10-dart clip and 10 Elite darts. Hasbro will also release two collectible single-shot MicroShots blasters that were designed to look like the iconic Halo launchers – SPNKr and The Needler. 

The NERF Halo line is slated for release this fall in the U.S. and U.K., just in time for the 2020 holidays. It will roll out to other markets in 2021. According to GameSpot.com, the MA40 NERF blaster will retail at $50, while the SPNKR one-shot blaster will sell for $10, as with the the Covenant's Needler. The news outlet added that the NERF Halo line will be available starting October 1 in the U.S. 

In addition to the three products, Hasbro said the Halo line of NERF blasters will also continue to build with additional blasters, accessories, and retail exclusives launching later in the year.

Hasbro said select products will also include an exclusive Halo Infinite code for unlockable game add-on content.

In a statement, Hasbro said the upcoming line of Halo NERF blasters will let fans of the video game immerse themselves in the next chapter of the Halo franchise, Halo Infinite.

Halo Infinite will be releasing in the 2020 holidays alongside the next generation Xbox gaming console, the Xbox Series X.

Get an overview

The most important thing when creating a garden is to have an overview. And what does it mean to have an overview? Well, not to focus only on a part or an element of the garden, but to try to foresee the complete final result.

Training in gardening and landscaping This is a very common mistake. For example, focusing too much on the plants being well cared for while the walls of the house, which should be white, have been yellow for years.

If you stop to think about the different gardens that you liked when you saw photos, they were not just well cared for plants, but they played very well with other elements (like stones or figures) and had all the parts well arranged.

This is what I mean by overview. Caring for the garden as an artistic whole.

And, of course, this overview is much more important when we talk about designing a garden from scratch. If you don't have this perspective, the garden you design will look like a few pieces stuck together.

So, that's the first trick I can give you: look at things holistically and make an all-encompassing design, looking for an integral result.

Play with lighting

And what aspects are often overlooked when approaching the design or care of a garden in a holistic manner? Well, one of them is lighting.

And, be careful, that lighting is overlooked in the design of a garden is something very normal, because whenever we think of a garden we think of it in broad daylight. But... In the garden we're not just in daylight, are we?

Many times, especially in the summer, we feel like going out into the garden to be cool. Let's not say we have a swimming pool and want to cool off before going to sleep.

And that is a bad idea; spaces need to breathe. Even if the garden is large, we must also use other types of elements to add variety to its design.

When the garden is small, we have to gain space and give the impression that it is bigger than it really is. This can be achieved by playing with perspective.

For example, you can place the trees at the back of the garden, the one that faces the edge of your property, and place smaller shrubs and plants as you approach the beginning of the garden.

You should also try to leave some places open, because that will give the impression that it is bigger than it really is. It would be like when you want to diet: if you put the same food on a small plate, it would seem that there is much more food than if you put it on a big plate. Therefore, I advise you not to overfill your garden.

This has a problem for those of us who like plants, of course, which is what we discard and what we are left with... But therein lies the art of designing a small garden!

For these "breaths" that we want to leave without plants, and thus achieve that feeling of spaciousness, we can opt for products like these: gravel, decorative figures, wooden planks, rocks...
